Hi, I have been installed custom rom lineage 19.1 on my redmi note 11 pro 5g (veux).
The Bluetooth is working headset/earphones connecting and working normally for audio streaimg like YouTube or any other apps as soon I try to call or receive using any app or phone app, messenger etc, the app becomes unresponsive, even it says phone app unresponsive close or wait window at that point I have no options device freezes and needs to reboot forcefully in order to work.
Any idea?

Pointing out the freeze device means in the background the phone is working the particular app unresponsive error doesn't go away it freezes there
Any non miui rom will have alot of issues. There won't be any help or support until we atleast get a partial functional recovery or official rom releases
You'd have better luck asking the guys who made the ROM instead of creating a thread here. If bluetooth audio worked fine in stock, and it's busted in a custom rom then it's the custom ROM's issue.

My Google Pixels microphone randomly died after some point in its lifespan, but happened recently. First i updated version to Android Q Beta 1 (and it was working all right on that version) but when i updated it to Android Q Beta 2 (microphone stopped working and whole UI experience was buggy, some apps not working, random restarts, etc...) but then i got it back on Android Pie, and it worked for few minutes into boot and died yet again... Then i installed custom ROM (Pixel Dust) with TWRP recovery and Root, but nothing of those helped, then i got it back on Android Pie via adb sideload OTA. That didn't help either... So i don't know is it the software problem (because it seems to work first few minutes after i boot it) or is it the hardware problem. I use my phone mostly for phone calls and now because microphone is dead, it lost its functionality... But speaker was working, earpiece and 3.5mm jack.. Any suggestions??
i'm having a similar problem at the moment. Since the April OTA update, phone calls stopped working. Even when using a BT headset. I tried reverting to Full Recovery Image from february, but that only helped a bit. Also, any other audio app was not able to use the speaker. With the Feb version, youtube and google music were back working, but phone calls are still not possible, causing the telephone app to freeze. I was thinking about installing some custom rom too, but that doesn't seem to do the trick. Did you try to wipe the cache in recovery?
Update
found three possible workarounds for people having the same issue, perhaps one of those helps. I'll go through them today evening.
You could try enabling the "Disable USB audio routing" in developer options and see if that works for you. It did work for me

Change your launcher, for example, on nova launcher, disallow permission to microphone for google app and never let him this permission, do not use google assistant.

Maybe is a kernel error..but definitely is not a hardware problem. maybe try changing kernels. o downgrading to 7.
since none of the above tricks worked in my case, i booted TWRP to clean the caches. Didn't bring any good result. So i flashed ElementalX Kernel and now i got some kind of a better result, even if it's still weird. Everything works now except incoming calls. I can actively call other persons, use whatsapp or facebook audio calls and all is good. Only if i receive calls, still mic is muted.
I will try everything from above, and hopefully something will actually work and get my Pixel back in life. I will get you updated guys.
Thanks for the support.

None of those helped so far, i'll try flashing some kernel then...
I discovered that when i try to record with my camera video, it says "Can't record audio. Another app is using the mic." Also when i try to record audio message on Messenger app, as soon as i click on microphone icon it says some error.
Update, my sound and video won't record, both on Youtube or Instagram or any kind of video audio playback.
Update
I flashed ElementalX kernel and same stuff happened, phone calls and microphone was working for first 30 minutes then it got back to old days, not working as usual. Now i think this is hardware problem

have you tried chaging vendor image, or getting a vendor image from a working pixel?
I installed lineageos 16 without gapps and is working good for hours until installed gapps.

Hey all,
since I upgraded my tablet to Lineage OS, now 13 Netlfix is just not working.
I can find the app in the Play store and install it etc - that's not the issue ( the device is NOT rooted by the way)
The app will open and the video menus are available, but the issue is with actual video playback.
At best I can maybe get one whole episode of a series to play, but then (at the latest) by the next episode it will get a few minutes in and then it will slowly fade to black and cut back out to the Netflix home menus. Of course, I've tried closing the app, logging out and bag in, dumping app cache and even data, and restarting device but this makes no difference unfortunately.
Issue repeats and repeats no matter what I do.
I think this is an issue with Lineage and Netflix, or at least an issue with custom roms and Netflix.
By the way, even though the device was not rooted at time of having the issue, I tried to use Magisk and Magisk Manager to see if this could solve the problem, but it didn't work.
This is really annoying because tbh Netflix is probably the main thing I use my tablet for!
Anybody got any ideas? Would appreciate any advice!
i think there's some bugs in the rom. i'm using lineage os 17.1 rooted with magisk and my Netflix app works absolutely fine. and when i was using lineage os 16 it was working good no issue at all

Ah ok, good to know thanks. Unfortunately only Lineage 14 and not higher is available for my device
My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5110) - I know super old, but that was the reason for using a custom rom in the first place.
I deliberately didn't mention my device before because I still think the issue is more to do with Lineage, and not directly to do with my device.
Phone: Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Poco X3 ProOS: Android 11, on MIUI 12.5 and MIUI 12
Issue:
When I pick Voice to be my default call redirecting app, it does not make calls.
The Phone app just stays stuck on dialing and never dials. Never rings on the other end either.
Sometimes, it causes the phone app to stop functioning altogether to the point that I have to restart the phone to regain functionality. I have sought help for the issue all over the internet and cannot seem to get any info on it.
I don't have an issue with going into Voice app itself and making the call over Wifi. It just will not redirect via the phone app, which was very convienient.
I believe it might be specific to Xiaomi phones, but then again, I used a Phone that uses Google Dialer, and it is the same result, albeit, it was also a Xiaomi phone with Global ROM containing Google apps as defaults.
I believe this to be an issue with Xiaomi ROMs. If I make the call from any other Android 11 ROM, the call works just fine.
Any assistance with this will be very helpful. Google Voice is my most used app on my phone.
No one else is having these issues? Or is it that people don't use Google Voice as much?
Given all permission it requires? Allow auto-start up? Is the phone you said working fine a Xiaomi phone with custom Rom Android 11?
If custom Rom works fine, then it's MIUI's problem.
If it's MIUI problem, ask in Xiaomi official forum or online customer support service.
If custom Rom still having issue, it might be Google Voice issue. Either hardware or software issue.
I have given it all the permissions it needs. And I do believe it might be a Xiaomi thing because I have installed other phone apps and they too can't work. I've posted the issue in Xiaomi forums.
I was hoping other people might be facing the same issue and could help with solutions
Try turn off MIUI optimization in developer menu and see if it works.
Maybe also try this
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/bqasnd
MIUI optimization is nowhere to be found in this ROM. I am looking to see how I can disable it otherwise.

Go into developer setting, scroll down to the botton, press the reset to default setting multiple times. Then the MIUI optimization should show up.
I saw that, and tried it several times but it would not appear.

Thanks. That made it show up. I tried the call with optimization off, same thing. Optimization on, and still the same thing. I think it's a problem with Miui itself. Something in Miui is blocking voice from making calls when it's being redirected.
Hi,
Since my OnePlus one has the lineage 18.1 there are these problems:
1. I can not received callbacks from Amazon, even the connection has been established. There is no ringing sounds and after a while Amazon hung up.
2. During a phone call suddenly the display went black when I coincidentally covered the top of the screen. I needed to restart the phone and it was OK again.
3. The security camera app IPC 360 doesn't work well on my OnePlus one: the live video freezes 3 Seconds after I switched on the app. This phenomenon doesn't appear on my other devices like Desktop computer, Tablet.
3. The phone gets every Thursday an update but the size of the software was always exact the same. Is it really a new software? I could not see any change or improvements regarding the problems. Any clues? Thanks.
Hi everyone,
My OnePlus one have these issues since I installed the lineageOS 18.1:
1. The phone does not ring when Amazon calls me back.
2. The Google speech services doesn't work well: No voice guidance when using "HereWeGo" app.
3. The camera can sometimes not recording videos. I have to restart the phone then it works again.
4. Live video of certain wifi surveillance camera app freezes 2 seconds after opening the app.
All these did not happen with Android 10, lineage 17.
Can you tell me if it is possible to downgrade the lineageOS 18.1 back to 17 and how?
Thank you.
Ba Lam
I got regularly updated from lineage OS 18.1. Almost every Thursday I got a 474MB update file to be installed but the Following problems still occur:
1. The camera doesn't work sometime, I could not make videos. I needed to restart the cellphone and it worked again.
2. The TTS engine doesn't work well: I am using Google speech services but the "HerWeGo" app crashes everytime the app starts the voice guidance.
3. The "IPC360" app doesn't work anymore since my OnePlus one got the android 11 and lineage OS 18.1: the live video freezes 2 Seconds after start. This phenomenon doesn't appear on my desktop computer nor on my android tablet nor on my IPhone, IPad.
4. The phone doesn't ring when I got callbacks from Amazon e.g., the connection had established but there was no ringing sounds and after sound 30 seconds it was disconnected.
Can anyone help to solve these problems? Or how can I downgrade the OS to android 10? Thanks
Ba

Sounds like a hardware problem, changing roms won't do anything.

The bluetooth one happened to me too. My phone's touch now no longer works even though my phone never fell, got wet, or got pressed hard.
I already tried changing roms, reflashing old and latest MIUI through fastboot and none of them fixed the issue.

Try installing an Android 13 custom rom. I recommend Exolution X for now since Pixel Experience android 13 is kinda buggy
I have the same problem. And every ROM, whether official or custom, has the same problem.
Install custom ROM. Worth to try. AOSP from foxtrot on tg is perfect a12 for me and everything working perfect.
