I format + download with sp flash tool by mistake, it gave me error and the phone stopped booting, tried flashing with SPFT using different firmware versions and it gives me the green check but still no boot, also tried using mtk client to flash firmware but same result. The phone only vibrates when trying to power on.

flash appropriate bootloader using this tool
After that you will have another problem - 99% I am sure you will loose your IMEI cos of the SmartFlash.
Give us more information. What did you flash with SmartFlash - ICS/GB, Large partition/normal partition? Which recovery - ICS, GB? Which bootloader?

Corrupt Firmware and Download Mode on LG G2

I tried to restore stock recovery by flashing the stock firmware on my LG G2 through the KDZ method in download mode (when it worked) and the process was interrupted (accidentally disconnected midway through the process). Now the firmware is corrupt and I don't even have download mode to flash it back to normal. It does not get detected by the LG flash tool when I try to get into download mode.

Which G2 model do you have? Will the device go in fastboot mode when try enter recovery? In that case you can reflash recovery via fastboot.

I have a d803 (Canadian Variant). And there is no fastboot. When I reboot into bootloader, it just boots into system. And I'm not trying to re-flash recovery. I have CWM now, running Carbon Mod. But I don't have download mode, which I need to flash firmware.

Yeah, but now it's impossible for me to revert to LG stock, should I ever need to. I can't return it and upgrade, because the OS is different. I need download mode back, or an alternative method to flash kdz's.

Can't Install 03-15-2016 OTA Update

Not sure if anyone else got the notification from Blu's "Wireless Update" tool about the update they released for the Pure XL. I didn't see any posts here about it. I'm currently unable to install the update, I keep getting this message about that "my system is damaged." And when I try to manually apply the downloaded update it fails.
I unrooted my phone, flashed the stock recovery, and even factory restored the phone. Short of reflashing a stock ROM I'm not sure what else to do to try and apply this update. I'd rather just wait for a Cyanogenmod ROM at this point than waste my time doing that. Anyone have any other ideas?

You must also flash the stock boot and stock system then do a factory reset and it will let you install the update. Same thing happened to me last night and I finally figured it out. You can find the stock boot, stock recovery and stock system images in the development thread.

Maybe it could have been a change made to the system by a 3rd party root application/xposed module you had installed prior to factory resetting (if you had any)?
That's all I can think of. If nothing else works, then you can just leave it be if you don't want to reflash stock ROM. The update is just to fix some bugs, so unless you were experiencing any of the issues listed in the update notes, you don't really need it.

I believe you can flash them through fastboot and believe me the update is worth it. When you have a blu phone you take any update you can get lol.

They are on page 23 of the development thread on this blu pure XL forum and you can either flash them through fastboot or flash them via SP flash tool using the gionee e8 or condor alure scatter text which both of those can be found in the development thread.

Hey all, I am sorry if this has been gone over before but I am getting an error when attempting to flash system.img through fastboot. Recovery and Boot (from page 23 development) flashed fine but when I flash the extracted system.img I get "load_file: could not allocate -1283457024 bytes Error: cannot load 'system.img'" I tried restarting fastboot but have not gotten past this error. Any ideas?

You can try to flash your system.img using SP Flash Tool instead of fastboot. If you don't already have it, you can grab a copy, along with the scatter file for the phone from the Gionee E8 ROM (It's the Chinese variant, but specs and partition scheme are the same).
Make sure to deselect everything first (this is important, as you only need to flash system.img, and nothing else) and click the box under "location" for the "system" row to browse for your own system.img to flash (otherwise you'll accidentally flash parts of the Gionee phone to your phone)

how do you flash the system? i used fastboot to flash recovery and boot ,but when i try to flash system it give me error like the "target max download size..." is there other way to flash system.img?
I don't want to be that guy, but just a thought: Would it be too much to aggregate this information in a thread?
ALL BLU IMAGES, ROOT PROCESS, NECESSARY ROOT FILES
Or something. It seems really stupid to just constantly tell people oh, hey, lol it's on page 13 good luck. Just set up a master post and link this stuff. Hell, if I find some time I'd do it.
I too had the same issue. I looked a bit through the app and I was able to retrieve a list of all files it compares when determining if the system is "damaged".
It seems their update app checks the sha1 hash of certain files versus expected hash.
I have attached a log file from their update app which contains a list of all the files it checks (and their expected hashes).
The most important line is:
2016-03-30 02:51:15=======FotaUpdate: FotaUpdatenPackageUnzipAndCheck, checkResult = install-recovery.sh$libart-compiler.so$libart.so$libart.so$
This is a list of all files (split by '$') that do not match the expected hash.
I formated internal sd, removed sdcard1 and flashed recovery and system imgs and when the device is updating on the recovery it says "Error" with the droid and the exclamation red sign, what else can i do ?
Figured out how to update the phone
Flashed Stock BOOT and RECOVERY with Fastboot
Flashed Stock SYSTEM with SP Flash Tool
Data/Factory format including Internal Storage
Update without errors!

Flash everything through SP flash tool it's just easier. Open SP flash tool click on scatter file, load the gionee e8 scatter file. Once that is done click on the top check mark to deselect all the fields. Double click on boot field and load stock BLU boot image, double click on recovery field and load stock BLU recovery image then double click on system and load stock BLU system image. Shut your phone off, plug your USB cable into your computer and hit download on SP flash tool. Now hold volume down on your phone while plugging your USB cable into the phone, you will see a red line for a few seconds at the bottom of SP flash tool. The line will then turn yellow and start counting the percentage of the flash. Once it has finished you will get a green check mark that says successful or something like that. You can then unplug your phone do a factory reset. Then once you go through all the start up stuff you can do the OTA update with no problems. SIDE NOTE: I lost my IMEIs doig the factory reset so make sure you have them written down somewhere in case you lose them and need to re-input them. There are Google videos on how to do that.

You should probably be working with the stock system image that you downloaded from this forum and the scatter file called "MTK6795_Android_scatter.txt". Try re-downloading either or both the stock system.img or the Gionee E8 firmware if you want to be sure that that isn't the issue first.
If you are still having issues, try to download and use USBDeview to uninstall every device that has to do with MediaTek, then plug in your Pure XL and boot it up to allow your computer to reinstall those devices.
Assuming you're on Windows, if that doesn't work, when you boot up your phone while it's plugged into your computer, try checking the MediaTek port that has "PreLoader" in its name (I forgot the exact name) that shows up under "Ports (COM + LPT)" in Device Manager. If you see it show up with an exclamation mark and it's Device Status in its Properties say something like "cannot start (error 10)", you may have to restart your Windows without Driver Signature Enforcement.

[Q][MTK][Huawei-Y600_U20] phone wont turn on after Format all+Download in SPflash

I'm running a custom rom 5 months now when my phone got a freeze last night and it's stuck in Logo... it wont also go to recovery. So i tried to flash my firmware using SpFlash.
It passed thru 100% and got a successful flash. but nothing happens. After that, i tried to do Format All + Download, then my phone doesnt show logo, doesnt vibrate either. i tried to flash again the firmware, but even if it's successful, it doesn't change anything. It's still not booting.
phone gets recognize on device manager.
I have drivers installed on my windows 7
I'm using SP Flashtool v5.1552
i have 2 stock firmwares downloaded from official Huawei services and one from another site.
EDIT: PHONE IS DEAD.

After all this can you still flash through sp flash tool?
Does your phone charge?
If you're sure you flashed the right firmware leave it for some time , if it still doesnt boot then remove the battery and reinsert and try again.

YES! I am still able to flash successfully without errors. but nothing happens though.
i'm also sure that i flashed the right firmware.
removing the battery and placing it some time doesn't do anything.
Just now, i tried to flash with Firmware Upgrade option, and i get an error failed to find PMT file info or something.
are you familiar with such?
Use download only as that's the only workaround I've for this pmt error.this mostly is releted to scatter text and wrong directory of files so trying another stock firmware might help.

G930F - flashed wrong recovery. Have I got any chances?

Hi guys,
I have flashed SD recovery over Exynos (idiot - I know!)
Have I got any chances to recover the device?
I have got g930f.
Bootloops at Samsung Galaxy S7 logo.
Will boot to download mode, visible in odin but upon flashing anything it will immediately restart and odin will FAIL.
Anything to revive this brick?
Thanks!

Hi mate
Probably yes....
You could try to reflash the correct recovery first.....
Custom like TWRP
Check here
Or the original one
Check here
Worse case scenario flash a stock rom (odin) Use all 4 files AP, BL, CP and home_csc to try to save your data ( has to be the same as you have in your phone now) or CSC this will give you a clean installation

re install driver

I can't check it right now ( I'm at work) but it basically gives me fail on red backdrop. Can't remember what it says in the log, but definitely says Success: 0/ fail: 1
Last file I tried to flash was whole system rom. Just before that, I tried to flash TWRP for s7 exynos - the correct one but it failed. And, of course, it all started with flashing incorrect twrp which went through perfectly :/
Thanks

When you get home, just try installing "Samsung Smart Switch" (it's no longer Kies) (http://www.samsung.com/sg/support/smartswitch/Smart_Switch_pc_setup.zip)
I understand that you already have drivers on your PC, but the Samsung Smart Switch might come with some updated drivers for your Samsung S7, which might change the scenario. Installing that, plus using another version of Odin (run it as Admin). I used this one just today. (http://dl.sammobile.com/Odin3-v3.11.1.zip)
If the flashing the recovery still fails, try flashing Stock rom under AP like suggested earlier. If that still fails.
Use Samsung Smart Switch's "Emergency recovery" but do the Initialization (2nd tab) by inputting your Phone model and let Smart Switch download the official firmware from Samsung's servers.
This must be done while your phone is in Download mode, so make sure you have enough juice to wait out the download process.
Good luck!
