I am having exact same issue, I have TS10 6gb 128gb android 4g 360 panorama view head unit. I am trying to use the builtin RCA video out to connect my external monitor. i have spent countless hours but I cannot seem to get this working.
I can play videos fine on my head unit, but bo video signal is received from head unit to external monitor.
I have also tried configuring video output app (youtube) and video output is enabled as displayed in the photo above, but no video signal received.
Why mirroring or outputting a video to external monitor has to be so difficult.

Hi I only recently ended up with the Nexus S and it's a great little phone.
I have searched for the answer to this but it's all been about HD playback.
I have a load of TV series in box sets that I've been bought for Christmas and I would like to know the best settings to use to convert them without ending up with black bars. Going on a long trip after new years
Below is the preset I used for my HTC desire the only thing I've changed is the width and height but I don't think that's quite correct any way.

The options I have available are:

Width:
Height:
Adjustment (add black bars, stretch the video, zoom & crop, auto-adjust)
Video Codec: H.264 or MPEG4
Bitrate (Kbps)
Audio
Codec: mp3 or aac

Any suggestions from long term users as to what things should be set to?
Use MX Video Player
https://market.android.com/details?...SwyLDEsImNvbS5teHRlY2gudmlkZW9wbGF5ZXIuYWQiXQ..
No need video converter.
MX Video Player can play many video formats.
If you are running on ICS rom, you dont have to convert it at all, it has got hd playback
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
Ok I don't think you guys are getting it.
What I want to do is optimally convert video for my nexus S and I'm looking for the best settings to do this.
Gonna convert a HD 5 min clip into various resolutions and I will post back with what is working best.
Edit:
I found those to be the smoothest for playback.
Hope it helps some one.
Hi guys,
I've just bought a pair of Vr scopes for my S6, nothing big, just a cheap pair to try some vr content in order to get to know the feeling.
Problem is that did not put the phone yet in the vr box, i was just setting some apps before using and when the dual display started i get some crazy paterns as in the pic.

I mention that i can play any games in normal mode and watch movies with no display issues, and i don't have any cracks on the display.
Please take a look at the photos, maybe you have an answer
Thanks in advance

Hi all, I'm in the market for a new phone, though, that's not what I want to ask. I'm interested in the Bluetooth functionality.
What I'd like to know is for all you One Plus 6 owners out there - Are you able to have multiple bluetooth audio+phone devices connected at the same time, just like the S8+? And I'm not talking about dual audio.
Can the 1+6 do that? Can someone test it please?
To elaborate on the question. I have the leeco le pro 3 and normally have my Bluetooth headset on everyday. When I jump in my car, the phone connects to the Bluetooth car which is expected, however, the phone completely disconnects the Bluetooth headset. I can only have one or the other connected at a time, unless I manually change Bluetooth profiles each time. I tested out a friends galaxy s8+ and was able to have both Bluetooth devices connected at the same time, and "hot swap" between the 2. I'm not sure if this is the result of Apt X technology, android OS version or even the mfr's ROM config.
See this discussion with someone here for further clarification:

I have an old phone that doesn't allow 2 of the same type (phone/audio) Bluetooth profile streams to be connected at the same time. I know that most phones can't stream to 2 at the same time, but I want them to at least stay connected so I can hot swap.
Below is how my Bluetooth looks when I connect to 2 devices of the same channel. I can't have both phone and audio on both bluetooth devices *connected* at the same time.

yes, oneplus supports that
Do you have one? Can you try it and take a screenshot? Thank you!
Hello All
I understand that some PX-6 core boards come with a HDMI port on the board itself (is an HDMI port, the one on the botom-left corner, right?)

Has anybody used it? Does it work by default, showing the same main android screen as the unit itself?
Thanks !!!

You have to manually turn it on in the settings.
Thanks !!!
Will that disable the "main" screen?
What I want to do is a Screen Mirroring, where I have the main touch-screen unit on the car console, close to the hands, but a secondary screen showing the same content (90% of the time is Google Maps) close to the windshield and my normal line of vision
Has anybody tried something like this on the past?
Thanks !!!

No, it will not disable the main screen. In the screenshot change from NO to YES to enable HDMI. This also depends on what Canbus Version you have.
