Fix Volte (HD CALL) on Galaxy A30 - Samsung Galaxy A30 Guides, News, & Discussion

Okay so samsung has heavily modified ril related stuffs so much so that volte and similar stuffs works only when using a OneUi based rom as it has their custom framework which is not present on other roms (namely aosp based or OEM ports etc)
Hence
Exynos = No Volte on anything except Oneui Roms

[Q] Xposed GB on CM ROMs?

I always am a Xposed GravityBox module user. Awesome work @C3C076 and @rovo89
Now after using Yureka and 1+1, I found that native kernel source and ROMs all available to these devices, are based on CM and that tampers the rule of GB module, if I have to use GB on these devices. Although CM has lot of features, GB is outstanding in many features and frequent feature and bug updates of GB are most desired one. Is there any AOSP Rom's available for these devices? If not, it is possible to make one out of existing CM world of ROM's?...

Rom with Volte support?

Welcome!
What custom rom support Volte by default? How to check Volte support?
which rom support Volte?
I tried also a lot of custom roms including the old official and unoficial LOS, unoficial LOS 15.1., 16, Nexus OS etc. and VoLTE / WifiCalling was not supported by any of the rom. I am also verry interresting in possibility to use VoLTE/Wifi-Calling in any custom Rom. For now I probably will go back to stock because there its supported.

Pie Custom ROMs with VoWiFi working on T-Mobile/MetroPCS

I couldn't resist jumping on a brand new 8GB/128GB Midnight Black OP6 for $479... so I took the plunge. I came from a OP5T, where I got my first exposure to intermittent VoWiFi functionality on Pie custom roms. I thought this might be more prevalent because OOS Pie had not been released yet for OP5/T but it doesn't seem to be the case.
I realize that Pie is just getting started and most projects are 100% focused on building that only. I wanted to open this thread to get feedback from users on Pie custom ROMs they have tried and if VoWiFi is working on T-Mobile/MetroPCS.
Here is my report so far (moving between ROMs on the OP6 is a bit of a pain)
OOS 9.0.2 - VoWiFi works great
HavocOS - VoWiFi *is not* working
OmniTreskMod - VoWiFi *is not* working
OmniRom - VoWiFi *is not* working
LiquidRemix 10.0.2 - VoWiFi *is not* working
cdDroid 5.0 - No radio, com.android.phone FC's on clean flash using recommended OB7
Other ROMs I haven't tried:
Bootleggers 3.5
Xenon HD 9.0
Others???
Please comment with your experience with any ROMs and results. If one of the ROMs I listed as not working, you were able to get working... please detail the steps. Thanks!

video call working?
If anyone tested here are some important questions I'd like to seek answers for.
-Has custom kernel support improved since 2018?
I've tried a few miui based custom roms including Xiaomi EU. It is true they were Nougat based but miui roms were infamous for their non-support of custom kernels. I've a collection of them and I tend to change kernels as often as somebody else changes socks.
-Has aggressive memory management became less aggressive?
Miui roms have this weird way of handling apps, force closing them in the background and so even when miui and system optimalization have both been turned off manually in the developer settings.
-What's the screen on time with mild usage? How many hours?
-Does the rom support wifi file transfer?
I rolled back from Syberia OS Pie to LOS 15.1 Oreo because Syberia didn't support file transfer over hotspot which proved to be ultimately useful.
Thanks for the answers in advance.

-Rom is Supported by many Treble kernels, you can simply backup the stock and flash directly some kernels.
- The Rom is Based on Tiffany (Mi5X) 101% clean port as GSI.
- Hotspot is working. If your device got error in some case. Just flash treble hotspot fix ny shivvv in sGSI telegram group.
