Question S22 Ultra Different price range between online & offline - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

I want to buy Samsung S22 Ultra but I see difference in price between online & offline. I'm getting it in 85000 RS in cash offline and at 95000 Rs on EMI but compare to online on Samsung Website I'm it at approx. 93000 in cash or EMI. Why the price is cheap at local market? Is there may b fault or used mobile inside the box? Can someone correct me about the prices. Thankfully

state TAX discounts, bulk purchases by local retailers, promos, upgrade deals, non popular colors....etc...etc....etc
just remember: seller will never loose his profit, thats means they got it for 75.000RS or less and selling you for 85.000RS + subscriptions+accesories + bring your friend to seller for next purchase

Russian vendor?

Hello,
found a site registered in Georgia(former SSSR) that sells unlocked touch pros for 800$. They have 4,8 stars in google checkout sellers rating.
Is this legite : http://www.networkingrus.com/Featured_Products-HTC_Diamond_4GB_Pocket_PC_Phone_Unlocked_1.html
Believable price, but very good. I'd say yes, it's legit, especially considering it has such a good rating from previous customers.
Another thing. The google checkout rating is based on 53 reviews, all of them very positive. The company has a warehouse in russia, but so far as I can see they are registered also in the USA. It is the best price for a non contract phone I could find anywhere (not counting Tigadua cellular and other shady sites). I would take a contract phone but it isnt availible in croatia yet, and the data transfer is very expensive also.
Well, if you're willing to drop 800 bucks, I'd say go for it. Seems to be cheaper than any other place I've seen, and I definitely don't think it's a scam. Good luck!
Georgia is scam
Price is the same as in Europe, ex VAT (TAX). But if you order it from Russia, you gonna pay import duties!!!

Ebay prices...

Hey everyone,
I recently was browsing ebay for a nexus s and noticed they are SO Expensive. Like 700 dolars expensive. So I was wondering.... (sorry if this sounds dumb lol) do you think its worthwhile or even possible to buy new from best buy and make a small profit on ebay?
Also one more question. When I'm on my epic 4g and I make. Call, even if the phone is password locked I noticed that from the call/dialpad screen I can easily get into my phone wiothout typing in the pin code by pressing home. Yikes... problem on nexus?

It's possible.
But you're going to have to spend $529 plus tax ($52 here in CA) to get the phone, and pay eBay to make the listing (a few dollars), and pay eBay a commision on the sale (not sure what they charge any more), then pay PayPal or whoever a commission on the transaction to collect the payment.
Your target audience is most likely only going to be people outside of the US or other countries who can't just walk in to a local store and get one, so you're going to have to deal with internationally shipping the package. I recall many of the listings I saw for these phone in the past had the $700 include the shipping, so another dip into your profits, but you can charge for shipping separately.
There's profit there to be made, but how large is the market? Those listings you're seeing, do they actually get sold, or do they expire without interest.
True, true. thanks for the reply man

there is almost no profit to be made
yes ebay increased their price for sales, and paypal is expensive as ever
you lose aprox $21 on paypal
and then you lose:
$0.25 + $4 + $32.5 = $36.75
total loss = $ 57.75 roughly $60
this is based on the $700 price
and there are some more hidden fees and charges that i forgot about
you basically come back with like ... $600 if lucky minus the original value of the phone $529.99+tax

Buying a Note in the US

Hi all
I'm from Ireland and I'm going to be in the US in september and I'm hoping to buy a note 10.1 as it's much cheaper there than it is in Ireland (in the order of $150 cheaper).
What is the best brick and mortar store?
Best buy seems to be the only place I can find that (on the net atleast) would have in stock, also is there anything I'm not thinking about? taxes or the charges which may affect me I'm going to california by the way.
Office Max is a good brick n mortar store, that sells the G-Note 10.1 All you have to pay extra is California's state sales tax.

I bought mine from newegg.com for $499 with free shipping (ups 3days) and without tax
while I was in a hotel in Texas for a business trip.
But I think you'll end up paying tax in California if you order from newegg.
Goto www.nowinstock.net and check out other online stores as well.
Good luck.
Thanks for the advice guys. I'm now thinking to avoid sales tax(and wasting my time finding stores) to buy the note 10.1 and Tab2 7.0(for my gf) on Amazon and have it shipped to my gf dad who lives in cali

I may be mistaking something, but how are you avoiding tax by purchasing online? Does it depend on the state you ship it to? I live in Canada, so I'm not used to this tax exemption concept.
well my understanding(recent research from google) is that most states have sales tax which is charged on top of the price of good at point of sale. I'm not exactly sure how online retailers avoid having to pay sales tax but I believe it has to do with selling good from outside the state where the customer is.
In the US, you usually don't pay sales tax online UNLESS the store has a physical presence in your state. That has it's exceptions though, like Amazon, here in CA you currently don't pay tax to sales fulfilled directly by them (sales fulfilled by 3rd parties on Amazon still carry tax IF they are in your state) because they have no physical presence in CA, however, through a deal made last year between CA and Amazon, we will have to start paying sales tax on ALL Amazon purchases, regardless of whether it's coming directly from them or from a 3rd party. If you want sales tax free online stuff in CA after September, you'll have to go with somebody like B&H, JR or Adorama, who are all located in New York City.

Do any stores sell this phone?

I want to buy the Nexus 5, but because of a long and complex story the money to buy this phone is half in cash and half on a debit card. Because of this, I can't buy the phone online, so I'm trying to find out if any brick and mortar stores sell this phone?
I called best buy but they said they it's 650-700$ at their store (instead of 350$ for the 16GB google play version) due to the fact that they're tied to either ATT or Sprint carriers. Can you not buy the phone anywhere? Even looking at craigslist the cheapest I can find it for is 450. Whats up with this?
buy it from tmobile. its going to be abotu $450 if i remember right tho.
why not take the cash and your debit card and get a prepaid one for the total amount?
Best buy price matches the play stores price if u show proof of the price. Plus u don't have to pay shipping and handling only taxes
Team Nexus 5 sucks

It's weird they gave me such a ridiculously high quote. Even their website says 'replacement phone' selling for 450, which is still under ther 650-700 quote they gave me over the phone. Maybe I just need to go drive to the store and talk to them in person. Thanks for the info guys, greatly appreciated
If you are looking for a used one take a look at Swappa as well. They have a lot listed there and new ones are added frequently. The ones that are listed cheaper sell quickly.
I remember when I bought my chromecast at best buy they were charging like 450 for a 16gb model I about crapped my pants its like who would pay this? Especially since I consider the nexus line a "niche" the customer base is well educated.

Mi4c EU warehouse - best place to buy?

Hello there,
I want to buy a Mi4c 2gb cellphone from europe or somewhere were I have not to pay taxes for the customs.
Do you guys know the best sites to buy it?
Thank you :fingers-crossed:
if you buy from an eu location, taxes will be already paid and incorporated into the cost charged to you so they will cost more compared to those shipped from china (the extra cost being same as the value of tax that would have been paid). If you import from china, there is a decent chance you won't have to pay tax, but if you do then the total will come up to the same as one bought from the eu. so i'd say if you can wait a couple of weeks, buy from china as you are quite likely to avoid taxes anyway, but if you can't wait buy from the eu.
i bought mine from:

ordered on 5th june, delivered on 24th june to the uk. No customs taxes, it was marked as a $20 mp4 player on the packaging

Ah yes but what i'm trying to say is that if you're intent on buying a xiaomi phone, you'll have to be prepared to pay the tax either way. if you buy from the eu, the cost of tax will be incorporated into the cost charged by the seller so you're guaranteed to pay the tax. but if you buy from china, you will probably not have to pay tax but there is a chance you do so you have to be aware of that. chinese sellers typically mark their products as gifts or as a low amount (like mine) as to avoid taxes as customs officials can't open every package that comes through their borders to check inside. this means that most chinese goods will make it through untaxed but if you're unlucky you'll have to pay up.

Yes, I understand you. But there are places like gearbest that sells it in a good price and it avoids the customs, but they're out of stock. Thats why I want other sites that sells it in EU
I bought mine from honorbuy mobile 2 weeks ago.
Gizchina has EU warehouse
http://shop.gizchina.com/mi4c/
If you don't want to pay tax, you'll have to order from China directly, not from a EU warehouse.
From China, you could randomly have to pay taxes too...
Note that you'll have to wait 2-3 weeks more.
PS : you should consider the 32Go version instead of the 16Go. For the storage, but for the RAM too....
