[CLOSED] Phone Unlocking PC Software, ESN\IMEID software - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

hey guys, Ive been in the tech repair\refurbish industry for around 20 years. Rooting phones is no problem, Ive managed to break a couple apple id locked phones free also, but I cant find the legit software to carrier unlock phones, bypass frp locks and I need software for changing imei\esn numbers. I had names of software and even demos at one point considering the software was like 2 grand. Anyhow I primarily want to be able to carrier unlock phones. I know it can be done via usb using pc software, but I dont know what software to use. If there is way to get the software free, etc. I also want to be able to repair FRP locks. I know it can be done because after fighting an s10 for days when they were new, i paid 50 dollars and a guy bypassed it using team viewer through my pc, He did it so fast I couldnt really grab any of the software names. I realized the software is likely uncrackable and expensive but Im to a point that I need to be able to do these things myself. If any of you guys know what software i need and what would be best that would be great. I would be happy to know which software is required for is best, and which is more affordable but also decent, and if there is anything that can be obtained free to accomplish these things.
At the moment I have aboue 10 a32 5gs most of which just need carrier locks removed, and a couple need frp locks repaired. Please point me in the right direction. google turns up zilch. Thanks ahead guys!!

Do you know of any tool to unlock cell phones from T-mobile and verizon? I have two E5 Play bikes from those companies with blocked bands

Thread closed.
If anything requires payment, pay for it. Carrier unlocks or any discussion about them while payments are due are not welcome on XDA. Changing IMEI is illegal in most countries. So any discussion about them is also not welcome.

General Question About IMEI Unlocking

I have always wondered, with all these services for unlocking phones via IMEI, how does this generally work. I mean, sure we know the carriers have either the codes or the specific algorithms used to obtain the codes by IMEI. However, how to all these services get their hands on either? Also, if they are so easily obtained (judging by the number of services claiming the ability to unlock phones), why is it so hard for an average person to obtain one without paying a service to do it? Are they only sold/obtained in batches of IMEI's, perhaps being prohibitively expensive for one person? If the algorithims used are known, which they must be by someone other than the carriers, then why can't someone just write software to accomplish the task? Say some opensource developers. I know there are plenty of those who would give such software away free if possible.
Some things I have always wondered about IMEI unlocking. Basically, how can all these services to it, but a person cannot?
Moving to Q&A area.
Thats the question that has me somehow frustrated the last days! Specially since I moved to Blackberry, which is like very dumb plat, I cant believe that kind of basic hacking is so much underwraps.
Hai i will help You,You cannot i mean a normal person cannot get the unlock code,It's based on the Network Database and network provider only generate the code based on Mobile Phone IMEI Number and Model...So they have code in their Data base, they can't guess by others,so you need to pay for it..Nowadays some persons have develop some calculators and programs and to generate a default code based on IMEI,But it will not work always,so payable cost is best for PDA phones for Normal Nokia DCt Phones and other old phones free code is useful...Others cannot generate the unlock code default method..It's too hard,Here Unlocking4free.com/unlock-your-phone you can get the unlock code for some mobile phones at free of cost and unlock it.

[Q] huawei 8652 (u8652) unlocking or rooting

hello, i have a huawei 8652 (u8652) i was originally using it with consumercellular.(not at&t)
now i am no longer with that service provider. they sent me two unlock codes at my request but neither one works.
phone is asking for two codes. 1) sim service provider unlock pin. 2) unlock sim service provider block.
i was wondering if the phone could be rooted and unlocked that way.
can someone recommend a way to get this phone unlocked. the online services dont seem to have positive reviews.

as for root http://theunlockr.com/2012/12/01/how-to-root-the-huawei-u8652/
as for unlocking it there looks like tons of ways to unlock it, just google it.
huawei 8652 (u8652) unlocking or rooting
as for the root method it says this "This tool only grant root access and does not unlock simlock"
as far as there being tons of ways to unlock it, as i said, many ads but can they actually unlock your phone.
according to reviews. money is spent but phone is still not unlocked. that is what i am trying to avoid.
im not looking for the definition of phone unlocking, i want to unlock my phone.
maybe someone can recommend a "specific" unlocking service that they have actually
used before. or one that is known by multiple members of this site to be legitimate.
thank you.

if your saying i dont know what unlocking is, i do in fact know what it means, i myself didnt look at the websites but all i did was google huawei u8652 unlock and it looked like there was many trusted websites within the list, there was also some you-tube videos, i myself have not used a youtube video to unlock my phones but maybe they are terrible? im not sure.
huawei 8652 (u8652) unlocking or rooting
im saying that a web search only gives you the possibility that one of those results "might" help you unlock the phone.
without any kind of verification or specific reference you might be throwing your money away. it would be good to know
which one is actually legitimate.
i have been to several independant phone stores, they want 30$ to 50$ dollars to unlock it. its not a high end phone, i dont really want to spend that much.
you tube videos show how to unlock the phone once you already have the codes. the codes i got from the phone company didn't work.
edit= to be more specific. the phone company sent me two sets of codes.
the first thing my phone asks for is "sim service provider unlock pin" i am successfully able to perform this function.
the second thing my phone asks for is "unlock sim service provider block" i have tried both the first and second set of codes for this and cant get any further, it wont successfully unblock.

Tracfone/Net10/Straight Talk Sim Unlock Requests Starting January 15

Good Day,
As we all know due to the recent changes in US Law making cellphone unlocking legal again, one of the US major prepaid service provider TracFone Wireless Inc. will now be required to unlock a cellphone upon request provided that upon request certain requirements are met. We have all known that "ole" TracFone has been the one to claim that cellphone unlocking should never be legalized due to presenting a threat to National Security and other risk factors. It has been proven that this is not always the case but apparently it's just the way TracFone decided to do business(Business Model). I really want to see how TracFone will handle this as I know this is a real torture for them to be able to abide by this.
I wanted to start this thread to find out what are the opinion for the general masses that us one or more services from TracFone. Feel free to comment if you are waiting on this day or whatever you need to say with regards. All are welcome to comment.
... TF policy seems similar to others
Here is Tracfone's unlocking policy:
www dot tracfone dot com/includes/content/popup/unlocking_policy.jsp
(I hope it is ok to insert this psuedo-link before until I've reached the 10 post bar.)
Seems to me to be much the same as other carriers:
1) you are or have been a customer
2) for a year
3) the fone is unlockable
Not better, not worse - IMO.
Anyone called tracfone/net10/straight talk for an unlock code yet?

I did but they didnt want to provide it. They keep saying that I mist meet the requeriments or it will not be given
I have a friend in the Philippines. Her sister sent her a straight talk J7 and shipped it. Unfortunately straight talk/ is refusing to unlock it even they don't offer service to the area. I wish they would have asked me first. I would have said never, ever do business with tracphone. So I am holding out hope for a solution soon to unlock her J7.

Network/Carrier Unlocking Iphones and Androids

Hi Guys! I'm kinda new to the forum. I made an account a while ago, but I never really used it... until now.
Let me just say that you guys helped me out more than once before, but now I need to ask questions to which I haven't been able to get a direct answer to. I dabbled in phone repair (mainly just rooted a few androids). I'm still a novice, but I'd like to start getting work experience. I'd like to start my own business unlocking, repairing, and eventually, creating custom ROMS for all phone models. But I'm still not 100% clear on a few things.
Is it at all possible to unlock android phones by flashing an international ROM? For example, let's say I have an Samsung Gakaxy S7, model SM- G930V (Locked to Verizon), could I, in any way, flash a 930F ROM (oran international variant of the 930F) onto that phone to unlock it? If not, what methods are available to me? Besides the obvious "contact your carrier and have them do it". There are a few sites such as
unlockauthority
unlockradar
That claim to be able to unlock your phone, but how do they do it? Are these sites even legit? I've heard of a few programs, such as Chimera Tools, that claim to be able to do the same thing, but the questions remain the same: are they legit, and if so, how to they do it? Can I learn to do it myself? If so, how? If not, why?
The same applies to iPhones, which I hear require iCloud to unlock. If I have an iPhone X, locked to AT&T or T-Mobile, can I just log in to iCloud and unlock it from there in just a few clicks for free?
watch?v=LsEJwX7BVcc
This guy claims to be able to unlock "any" iPhone by just inputting a few codes. I question the legitimacy of this, of course, but I don't have access to a locked iPhone to verify.
Again, I'd like to start a business. Most people are looking to unlock their phones, so that would be my focus.
If anyone can help me, if even a little, I'd be very grateful.
And of course, once I learn more about mobile devices, I'll be able to help you

Generally speaking, you can't use firmware from one model on a different model, especially when it comes to any kind of Verizon device, that leads to a bricked device. There are cases where you can flash a firmware from a different model number, but those are rare cases and the devices are virtually identical hardware/software(bootloader).
If you're trying to unlock bootloader on any kind of Verizon Samsung device with 4.4 Kiit Kat or newer android, you can give up on that idea, you'll never make it happen, many, many, many people have tried, there is no way to do it. Verizon/Samsung has that locked down tight.
When it comes to unlocking phones, there is no general way of doing so. That is case by case and model number by model number. Not all phones can be unlocked and the ones that can be unlocked use different methods. You'll have to find the method for each specific model number.
We can't help in the iPhone department, this is an android development site, it doesn't deal with iPhone at all, not in any shape, form or fashion. You'll have to go somewhere else with that.

Thank you very much for your input! I'd like to keep this thread open, in case anyone else has something to share.
I really appreciate your help. From what I understand, unlocking Androids can only "safely" be done by contacting the appropriate carrier, or finding a specific method for each phone model.

Question How to get att's unlocking block removed

Sm-s908u I need to carrier unlock this device and remove the hardware that att has installed on device that will make my phone "factory unlocked" without paying. Please is there any options for wiping the device completely and installing everything for the specs and such
If the phone is eligible you can request it right on Att's Website. https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/
I'm having an issue getting mine unlocked via the carrier(boost) as well although I have met all the eligibility requirements and they keep telling me it is unlocked. It is not every sim/esim i tried confirms its carrier locked. Ill be following in case anyone knows of a way to get around this.
I can't get att to officially unlock hence why I'm trying to find a way around there locking software/ programming bs. I've hered the issue your up against is common within there consumers.

Why not pay the device off, and get it unlocked honestly.
ATT will unlock it, if it is paid off and all clear. I've had ATT unlock many of devices, once I've paid them off.
Device needs to be paid off as C Kent stated. There are no free services for that. And if you do decide to do a paid service you might get an imei of an international device which will make the device unusable on At&t network. This happened to me on one of my devices I use to tinker with. Once they unlocked device the assigned a random imei that came back to a J7. Some my At&t Note 8 was registering with At&t as an International device...so yeah pay it off. Submit request to At&t and within minutes you get an unlock code
