Question A/B Android 13 gsi on Poco X3 Pro - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Hello guys. I wanted to test the GSI of Android 13 for Poco X3 pro. Ok so, i have two questions. I have broken my pc so i can't use it. Since the file is a "system.img", would there be any way to flash it via TWRP for example ? Also, the GSI is an A/B rom. I checked the app named "Treble checker", my phone is compatible. But, it says it only has an A slot. Would i still be able to flash it ? Thanks in advance.

Why, for the love of all that is wonderful in the world, would you want to try that?! It's your money and your phone, dude. Do as you wish. But I advise against it.

shouldn't the DSU be able to boot a GSI without actually flashing it?

So i can't flash a gsi with twrp. What about the A/B roms

What do you mean by the way

I just went to search and apparently i'm able to flash a gsi with twrp

You can't flash a gsi with twrp, since we can't access the system partition, this device having a super partition

TWRP for Redmi 10X Pro built by wzsx150

Anyone who can confirm or tried this TWRP for Redmi 10x Pro 5G?
https://www.cyanogenmods.org/downloads/redmi-10x-pro-twrp-recovery/
Yes, I confirm -- it works.
I've install Magisk with it, that's totally ok. Can't confirm yet if its backup/restore functions work or not.
And now I can confirm the backup and restore work. I successfully restored the super and data partitions. And also have flashed stock boot instead of patched.
So, for now it seems the TWRP is nice.

You just have to format or erase misc partition, if you've flashed misc.bin.
Or just flash stock rom recovery.img again, my friend.
And everything will works again.
So easy.
Good luck

Because misc.bin. If you've flashed it to misc partition, it will boot on recovery forever.
You have to erase or format it.
That's simple. I will create a guide for it.

i am not an expert in this field.
Usually when i face a problem like this,i use fastboot to settle it.If that dosen't work ,i will use SP flash tool then.
Maybe i should learn more skills about it.

well, for me that didnt work.
I had to flash specific modifed vendor to disable encryption.
Disabling the encryption is NOT necessary for any of the custom roms
guys, before we let this happen, we should at least know why they want to even disable encryption. because I don't see any reason why you would even do that when we have a recovery that can read encrypted data partition

Maybe you need to flash vbmeta.img before first boot. Or try another GSI (verify using Treble Info app to know which variant you need)

but whats about bootloop after kernel flashing? and magisk too
I've checked, and I can say that the bootloop occurs after flashing TWRP_3.6.2 and disabling_vbmeta_R.

You need to flash the patched kernel;
1. Run multidisabler in TWRP terminal
2. Factory reset via TWRP
3. Reboot to recovery
4. ADB Push the kernel or use the sd card and flash it.
5. Boom, you can boot now.
