Need help Finding the right FW to Odin onto my phone (ATT) - Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Questions & Answers

I've tried a few different ones and Odin always fails.
I'm trying to fix an issue.
Working fine all day yesterday. Wake up this morning to the signal status up top to the circle with the line through it. No bars. Swapping the SIM does the same thing on a known working att sim.
When I pull out the SIM, it shows bars, But when I put a SIM into it, it goes to the circle with the line through it.
Sometimes it’ll show bars and LTE but it won’t work. SIM status will be unregistered.
This same SIM put into my old Pixel works right away so it’s not a SIM or network issue.
Factory reset does the same thing.
Here's the phone info

EDIT: I just noticed the baseband FW number doesn't appear anywhere online...

No Calls, No SMS, No GSM, 2G 3G 4G, just WIFI Connection

I own an GALAXY S7 EDGE AT & T ( G935A )
Yesterday on morning i was talking on phone and after 1 minutes 17 sec phone loses carrier signal and after 2 sec of losing signal the phone reboot automatically then was very slow. I rebooted the phone, and it showed that havent SIGNAL there and instead CARRIER SIGNAL i see the circle with diagonal line there.
I wait some minutes for the signal but again the same, i make some restarts but again the signal doesnt work, just displayed circle with diagonal line. Then i make RESET FACTORY and after configuration was the same again, i update to nougat 7.0 but again was the same error, i downgrade to ANDROID 6.0 but again doesnt work.
The wi-fi works perfectly with no problem, but I can't make a call, send sms, or mms, or use mobile data like 2g 3g 4g lte or gsm.
Any ideas how I can turn the radio on? I've rebooted several times and toggled the Mobile Data button, but that isn't doing anything.

Have you looked in system settings to verify that your network/SIM settings are correct?
Here are some dialer menus for S7 and S7 Edge. You're looking for the menu that let's you check the status of your radio and allows you to turn the radio on/off. See if it will let you turn the radio back on.

Also, try a different or new SIM.
Are you sure your service wasn't disconnected by your carrier? Have you called support?

If you read their first post, they still have their IMEI number, it is still listed where it is supposed to be in settings.
Checking IMEI would have been my first suggestion also but they have IMEI so I didn't bother mentioning it.

Did this just happen on its own, did it happen after you updated the device?
If you bought the device used and you ran into this issue when you tried to activate it, it might be a device that someone didn't pay the phone bill and the devices blacklisted. If this is the case, there's nothing you can do until/unless the previous owner's existing bill is paid, then the block will be removed.

Nexus 6p LTE broke after Rom update

The basic problem is as follows:
I've got a Nexus 6p on which I dirty flashed an 8.1 update (27 Feb 2018) of ABC Rom over an earlier 8.1 version (01 Jan 2018) of ABC Rom. After that, the issues began. At boot, I'd be on 3g and if I toggled airplane mode off and then on, I could get LTE for about 10 seconds. However, it would then drop back to 3g. It's probably worth noting that my cellular provider is Verizon.
I tried everything that I could think of and/or learn via the google. Such as:
Wipe system, data, cache, and dalvic
Revert to stock
Install different/older radio images
Changed SIM (although still Verizon)
... nothing worked. I've read about people manually configuring their APNs. However, I've got a Verizon SIM, so that option does not exist... as far as I can tell.
I've identified a crappy work-around that allows me to get a stable LTE connection as follows:
Open the Phone's Testing Settings by dialing: *#*#4636#*#*
Tap "Phone Information"
Scroll down and set the "VoLTE Provisioned" toggle to the "on" position.
Then, toggle airplane mode on and off.
However, the reason I've described this as crappy is that doing this results in my phone being unable to make or receive calls. Whenever I try to make a call with VoLTE Provisioned, the call fails and reports "Server Error". Consequently, I generally just deal with the phone working in 3G. On the up side, this work-around does demonstrate that LTE is still possible... with the right configuration. Although, it would be nice if I could get both LTE and phone working vs just one or the other.
I came across this post suggesting that a possible solution is to boot the phone up with a non-Verizon SIM, power it off, and then boot it up again with the Verizon SIM. I'm not sure how this fixes the issue. However, before I go buy a $30 SIM in the hopes that it will fix my issue, I figured I'd make this post and see if anyone has any other ideas how I might correct this.
Any ideas are appreciated.

So after a few months of using 3g, I got my hands on brand new AT&T SIM card. (For what it's worth, it hadn't even been provisioned yet). I went ahead and boot the phone with this new sim card. (I also reset the new APN settings to the default, although it probably didn't do much). After powering the phone down and putting the Verizon Sim back in, I've got my LTE back and all is good.

GSM / Network Signal grey out

Hey all, thanks in advance for any advice offered.
For some reason my GS8+ has a greyed out GSM signal bar with an 'x' next to it. As far as I remember the only thing I did was put it to charge overnight. I've tried removing the SIM, still grey, inserting another carrier's SIM (known to be working), still grey, my original SIM also works fine in another phone. Everything else not related to cell service works fine (wifi, bluetooth etc.). I can see the IMEI number in settings as usual.
I've tried resetting the network settings, factory resetting the phone, I've even reloaded the ROM via Odin. No joy.
The phone is pretty much stock, except for the fact that I changed the carrier software from AT&T to Verizon in order to use a particular LTE band. Since I did that, the phone worked fine for several months.
I've only noticed two things odd thus far. After reloading the ROM and downloading a few updates, a game (Empire) appeared from nowhere installed in my app drawer. Also, the Airplane mode icon in the notification shade is light blue, similar to when it's transitioning from off to on. Airplane mode seems to work though, because I can toggle it, and the wifi reacts as such.
I can't search network operators manually (says: Error while searching for networks), changing the network mode does nothing, and none of the secret dialing codes work either. They all say "Mobile network not available". With a SIM inserted, my SIM status menu says, Network: unknown, Signal strength: -113dBm 0 asu, Service state: Radio off.
Sorry if I'm long-winded, but I'd appreciate any assistance at all. Thanks again for taking the time to read.
Hey, I'm having the same problem. Did you find a fix?
Nope.
I had a same issue after I update girlfriend's s7 . The ROM (custom one) was based on newer version but the firmware and BL were old.
I know and I understand that you just put it to charge overnight but you can give a try to flash latest firmware CRED one.
Allso is mandatory to chose the correct country and carrier. Chose the country where you are and Verzion carrier
I have same issue tried flashing other roms. All didn't work

SM-N9860 - "Not registered on Network" error suddenly in the UK

Hey guys, really hoping someone is able to help me.
Back in September 2020 I purchased the SM-N9860 variant from T-Dimension for use in the UK on EE's network. Everything has been running smoothly since day one, up until yesterday (31st May) where the phone would constantly struggle for signal, flip flopping between "No service" or extremely slow 4g. If I try to make a call I get the "Not registered on Network" error message.
Since then I have done everything I can think of:
- Restarted the phone several times
- Switched Airplane mode on/off
- Manually selected my carrier
- Reset network settings
- Tried my sim in another phone (which worked fine), and tried a different sim in my Note 20 (exhibited the same behaviour of "No service")
- Checked IMEI but it's not been blacklisted
- Tried my sim in the SIM2 slot
- Full factory reset
but none of them made a difference.
Tonight I decided to try and flash different firmware to see if that might have any effect; both TGY and BRI firmwares were flashed successfully with Odin but neither have solved the problem. I'm now at the point where in my home I can see the 4g symbol appear above the network status for 30s - 1min but it never actually loads any data, before returning to "No service". Compared to my fiancee's S10+ which is also on the EE network and easily hits 20Mbps without worry in the exact same room.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what to try next? Has anyone else encountered this?
Thanks,
RBrNx
I've spent some more time investigating this and I am 99% sure it's an issue with the device.
Below you can see a screen recording of the issue that I made this morning while I was out a walk, you can see it goes from having signal but no internet ("Emergency calls only"), to "No service", then to 4g but I wasn't able to even load a website, before it moved back to "No service".
I've also attached two screenshots from the NetMonster app, one is from my Note 20 and the other is from my fiancee's S10+. Both were side by side when the screenshots were taken - mine has no service and her's has 4g.
I've since tried a number of other SIM cards in my phone, including another EE SIM and a Three SIM - both work immediately in the S10+, but neither are able to register when put into the Note 20.
I tried to contact Samsung Support but they were next to useless. The UK support team told me I'd need to contact Hong Kong support "as they have full access and information", but all the HK support could do was tell me to visit the HK Support Center...
I'd love to be able to fix this issue but I'm not sure what else to try
EDIT:
Some more information that I forgot to add - When I am out of the house I can occasionally receive calls/texts or use the internet, so I know for sure that they are all working (i.e EE haven't blocked my account) but most of the time I am stuck with "Not registered on network"
I'm wondering if it's an issue with the antennas, it's almost as if they are somehow weaker or less receptive than they were a few days ago
Does it behave this way when in safe mode ? How about in 3G mode? If it's hardware then Samsung doesn't recognize devices that are from other regions in relation to warranty work. You'll have to test the after sales support of T Dimensions now. Failing that sell it as is on eBay for parts or try and trade it for another device.
I'm using the same device on Vodafone UK and no issues here at all
I'm using an N9860 HK model, also from T-dimension, with EE since last autumn. I have not had any such problems with mine.
I haven't flashed or rooted the phone, but I have tinkered in the service menus in order to gain 5G service and possibly other service improvements.
Yeah, same for me. Changed the 5g whitelist settings but no root.

Question Cellular Network not working correctly

I noticed a few days ago that my phone (SM-S908E) had no service from my network provider (appears as "emergency calls only" or "no service").
The SIM and all its services works perfectly fine on any other device, and any SIM (from the same provider) gives me the same issue on the S22U, the network appears when try to manually select it, but never connects, it takes a lot of time and just a "Not Available" appears later.
I noticed later, while moving, I have perfectly fine signal sometimes, even 5G when available, I noticed this outside and near cellular towers.
My network provider says everything is fine on their side, the SIM and the device itself (well they only checked the SIM port). It make sense to me because I can get the service in my old S9 and S20 with that SIM.
My conclusion is that the device is not able to get the signal as before (like a range thing?), and because I don't know when it started but I know I updated an OTA on early feb (I noticed this issue on feb 5th), I want to ask you guys:
- Is there a chance the update was wrongly downloaded/installed and is affecting the mobile network?
- Can I redownload the update on any official way to reinstall it? I remember exactly that as a "repair" function on smart switch pc but is not availble on my device.
- Can I downgrade to my previous firmmware (with odin) to see if this was a update error, and if I can, that keeps the official status?
I have warranty yet, but I don't want to go to service center unless neccesary, and if I can try something and keep that official status before losing my device for a few days, that'd be nice
