Hi,
Hoping someone can shed some light on an issue I'm experiencing.
I noticed this rooted phone has apns-conf.xml in two file locations: /system/etc/apns-conf.xml and in /etc/apns-conf.xml.
My carrier has a dual imsi
- When in Spain, mcc= 214 mnc = 10. (imsi starts with 214108)
- When I'm out of Spain, mcc = 266 mnc = 01.(imsi starts with 266018)
I have tried setting the permissions to 0644 - rw-r-r-- for both files, rebooted the phone, restored the APN settings to default and yet nothing appears. It's as if any changes I'm making to these files aren't reflecting? Would appreciate if someone can help?
These are the settings I have added:
<apn carrier="Lobster Internet"
mcc="266"
mnc="01"
apn="lobster"
authtype="0"
type="default,supl"
mvno_type="imsi"
mvno_match_data="266018"
/>
<apn carrier="Lobster Internet"
mcc="214"
mnc="10"
apn="lobster"
authtype="0"
type="default,supl"
mvno_type="imsi"
mvno_match_data="214108"
/>

Does anyone know of a stock rooted/custom Rom that allows to add an APN? i am on the clear Rom right now, but you cannot edit the APN on that! so any help would be appreciated!
I don't think there is any but I came across a Rom that has an extended APN list. Here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2179323

@Librem5OS I've closed this thread as duplicate of the one, which I'd moved from the development section, for which it didn't qualify, to the Q&A section.
Please review the XDA Forum Rules with special emphasis on rule no. 5 and post only ONCE! For this reason, I've also deleted the post you made here. The same applies to your post here and this thread (which I by the way moved from development to Q&A, too!) you've created; the post has been deleted.

I have a laptop stuck behind a VPN so can only run apps configured through a proxy over USB. This means that the proxy is using a certificate not trusted by the device. I add the certificate to my device and web works fine, however the App fails to trust the CA of the proxy. I have tried using the network security config in manifest.xml and that still fails.
Any ideas on how I can get this to work as I need to test FIDO2 but it fails to verify the domain.

I have a Samsung A03s and in the kmsg.log kept mentioning [275: teegris rpmb] TZDEV ERR tz_iwio_alloc_iw_channel(175): IW buffer registration failed, error=-111 and [275: teegris rpmb] TZDEV ERR tz_iwsock_connect(619): Failed to connect socket root_task, error=-111 and I decided to check them out. After doing some Google searches I discovered the Teegris got hacked by a USB charger. I got curious about my N20 because I used the same charger on my phone. I checked the sockets on my Nord N20 5G and I honestly don't know what I'm looking at. I'm hoping someone could help me understand and let me know if this is normal or if I should be concerned.
I sent an email to OnePlus and I was told to reset the wifi, mobile, and Bluetooth in the settings and nothing really changed other than the ports and I-Nodes that were connected. I'll post the Samsung and both OnePlus files.

OK I'm not sure whether it's right to post this here since I'm new.
Here goes.
I met a friend which gave me his number which I dialled but I accidentally deleted it before saving into contacts.
I'm on a samsung but since I deleted it within a few minutes after dialing I can't restore call logs since it did not get back up via sync.
I tried recovery softwares but the quick scan couldn't do anything. At the end of the day it needs root acess but I rather not trip knox.
Also since I dialed and it did not connect I can't retrieve it from my telco/service provider.
Any ideas?
