You have a Pro not a Duel. You will need this first, extract it and place all the files within it to /ProgramData/RSA/Download/romfiles/L79031(delete whats currently in this folder first, then move all the files you downloaded into this folder). Now run RSA and and flash the correct firmware for your Legion Pro. Upon boot, make sure to run System Update to the latest firmware available (you will have to do this two or three times).

I think I'm in the same situation- And your link doesn't work. What is 'this'? Can't find any info on it!!!
@xXHotBoxXx420 ,
Pretty sure that link was removed. Here is where you'll find the firmware for your device. Just follow the instructions you quoted by @&(*) after gathering your models firmware.

Hey thank you, but I actually found a CN ZUI 13.5 ROM that I've never found before and flashed it, and it worked. I have Android 12 now, but my cellular still isn't working, and I want a ROM with Google apps by default- one more like the stock android. I assume that's the global version. Trying to go about unlocking my bootloader and flashing the Legion Duels ROM on my Legion pro, I've heard there is a way. Just need to find a good tutorial.
@xXHotBoxXx420 ,
Here is a guide that will work on this device, make sure you read it carefully and backup what it states. I suggest you read this other guide first so you can recover from any mistakes.

Helpful, but I'm wondering if I can do it the other way around; CN to Global rather than Global to CN. I'm sure it probably works the same way, backup partitions and all that. I just figured you had to unlock the bootloader to be able to flash other ROMs but I have flashed the ROW & EE ROMs and ended up with crashdump/bootloop. Didn't realize flashing partitions could fix that. I think I'll give it a try. Thanks

Hi,
I bouth a used Z5 and I just found that it was unlocked and then restored the drm.
I read some posts saying that you lose functionality, and that it also affect to the camera. Other posts say that that depends on the way you unlock it, others say that you cant restore it, and others that you can depend on your the method.
My security service info stands like this:
{

What functions am I missing? Can I get them back?
Look, about the drm keys, if the one who unlocked the phone kept the drm keys then you can restore it. If that person didnt keep the drm keys, then you lost them for good. You cant use any other z5's drm keys or you will brick your phone. The good news is, you can restore all the functionalities back by flashing a zip file. You will have to root the phone first.

thanks. you said that it is possible to restore all the functionalities back by flashing a zip file. which zip file? there many different of them saying that can do it, an many people saying that some of them dont work and can brick the phone ....

may be he reffers this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z5/development/sony-credentials-restore-unlocking-t3296383
but you need to have root permissions and a custom recovery.... if you want to know how to install it here's a nice guide step by step
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z5/general/guide-sony-xperia-z5-unlock-root-tweaks-t3298224
I talked with the last owner, and he said that he already installed drmrestore.zip...
but the screen still stays like the screen I posted in the first message.
How can I check if I have lost functionallity? how cna I make sure that the camera and everything is fully working ok?

Hi.
I think so in your first post have the solution about your questions...
When you flash drmrestore .zip restore marlin and widevine and it appears ok. But fido Keys appears not provisioned.
Then it's possible that mirrorlink doesn't work, and camera work slowly.
When you restore your drm Keys you can read in fido Keys: provisioned and all functions works fine.

Hi!
Long time iOS jailbreaker finally moving to Android here.
Just got a spare Nokia 3, brand new.
Updated it from 7.0 to 7.1, than updated to 7.1.1.
Already its stuck in recovery mode due to what seems like a bug with the production line of Nokia? I've seen loose forums about this issue but all guides are either in Hindi or don't actually solve the issue. I just need to ask someone to help guide me through this, since I'm from iOS I'm not very aware about what flashing is, scatter file based flashing ect. I downloaded the base 7.0 from Needrombd.com, also downloaded SmartPhoneFlash Tool since that's meant to help.
I've connected the phone whilst its in fastboot mode, than put the scatter in and clicked download. Takes about 4-6 minutes than instantly hits 100% with a error (pic bellow)
Note: I cannot access the recovery page with the Android mascots chest open, only the screen posted in the reply below.
EDIT: Downloaded OST (Nokia's desktop flash editor), not much help as I can't seem to find the type of file its asking for. Seems like it could be a problem with a com port on the phone side seeing as I've mucked about with other cables/sockets.
Any help is so so appreciated right now :victory:

Whaat!!! Even with all my experience customising android phones, I haven't had the nerve to try flashing my nokia3 with flashtool. Does your phone still enter download mode? If so I recommend that you flash your phone with OST
You can get more information from this link:

This is the only thing accessible. Good suggestion though. Seems we have a mystery on our hands.
I am offered a new OTA Rom from the updater - I download it and then in the Recover I am supposed to enter my password for the Encryption as my drive is encrypted from the factory.
Phone boots into recovery and after 1 second it boots back to normal. The message for entering the password does not appear
Who can help me?
Thanks Gordon

No - its the original stock rom. i got the handy as christmas gift. which twrp ist the newest and is there an install documentation?
I take it that it is the original EU ROM? If it's stock Chinese, then ignore this post, stock recovery works ok but I know some sellers put on a copy of EU ROM before selling it, so please check your ROM details first.
There is a newer twrp but the one have been using is the original that says it's a mi 10 pro but it works fine. Here is a link to a word doc that wrote about installing ROMs for the ultra. https://mega.nz/file/6UAhXCxZ#Np2KwhMnl8obmOvp4b-2R9ajo0zrtz3vwefy-Ya3PLs
Just use the section on twrp installation through a PCs fastboot app, then reboot system and use the OTA or flash direct from twrp. Links are in the doc for twrp or use http://mifirm.net. Apparently the latest twrp works ok too but I have not installed it yet or put a link in the doc but here is a direct link from my mega folder https://mega.nz/file/TUh0mLAZ#0jYRCIeAiCJEMW1eIvWzPSWG2MuKJMG5V-wgxtWT80M
If you are on A11, you may need to disable your lock screen password before update but twrp will let you know.
Hope it helps.

Hello ppl,
I have a few questions I would like answers to, I got the Poco X3 NFC recently and I was able to unlock the booloaded properly with the official method (waiting the 7 days), but when I think about the root process is njot entirely clear for me.
Is there a way to root the android device without installing the custom ROM?? os is that a must?
I heard some Bank applications will not run in rooted phones, how usual is this? and is there a way to know which apps come with this resticction?
seems like magiks is a good choice for rooting as it keeps the original boot.img in the device so the rooting checks are not failed. how better is this? than other methods?
I am also wondering if there a process for reviewing the custom ROMs available over the internet? I mean how safe are those in terms of malicious code?
And finally what are the best custom ROMS out there for the x3 NFC that you would recommend in case I go for the ROM flash route.
thanks in advanced for any details
You absolutely don't need a custom ROM to get root -- all you need is an unlocked bootloader, which apparently you already have, plus a custom recovery like TWRP or OrangeFox to be able to flash Magisk. Evrything else, IMMV...
Thx pnin ill check deeper in to magisk then
I have another question.. in order to backup my current stock phone's partitions do I have to flash TWRP first? or can I get the backup done some other way?
It's possible there's a way to do this with ADB ("platform tools") and a computer that I don't know about -- otherwise you absolutely have to flash TWRP/OrangeFox first...
I am on Indonesian stock rom. And removed these apps via debloat in magisk module. I think its quite enough. You dont need custom rom. Magisk can hide root. So no worries.

I'm a De-bloater user myself -- but I wouldn't risk anything without a working custom recovery. Things tend to get pretty hairy as it is...

yeah seems like RCS is very important... I have reinstalled it.
Hey thanks for all answers, so I manged to get mine rooted, the TWRP works but is not persistent, meaning you cant flash it, but can boot it, so I booted and installed magisk with it, I now have rooted x3 NFC, and passing the safety net scans all green.. the only thing is I debloat some apps like mi video and other mi-services.. but after some time they re-appeared... any advises on getting rid of them permanently?

I found it, adb pull and the partition name, I took a 100gb image though so Is not easy to tamper with as it is too big, none the less I managed to complete the whole rooting process properly so I guess I can try again to backit up as it is.. but I can boot in to TWRP so I guess is not enirely needed.
Good night everyone.

However, when I tried to flash the latest TWRP (v3.6.2) over stock Android 9 (the ROM used to unlock the bootloader from the guide above) following the exact procedure shown on TWRP's site, using both the recovery IMG and the vbmeta linked within the instructions (the vbmeta apparently comes direct from Google), the phone became bricked and totally unresponsive apart from periodic short vibrations whenever I try to boot in any way (system, fastboot, recovery, etc.).
What can I do to try revive it?

If you can connect to the phone with SP Flash Tool you should be able to flash it with Android 9 again and start over. Just download though, not format + download, because then you'll need to restore your IMEI and serial numbers.

I have just tried to do so, but to to no avail. I keep getting the following error message:
STATUS_STOR_LIFE_EXHAUST (0xC003001D)
The storage on your device has reached end of life, please change to use new device to do operations
I used the DA bundled with SP Flash Tool and drivers linked in one of the folders, apparently MTK ones.
Here's a screenshot of the error message:

I was able to download the firmware again after unchecking the Storage Life Cycle Check box within SP Flash Tool's options, and the phone is now up and running, no troubles up so far.
Thank you very much for your help djinc91!

I've had no trouble with my storage during all the years I've owned this phone. Never experienced slowdown, errors, loss of data, etc, not now, not before.
Even so, this is just a backup/2nd device used for nothing important, so it doesn't bother or worry me in the slightest. I'll just keep it using it as is until it dies or I just can't make it usable anymore.
Thank you for your heads up, though.
