I keep seeing these cases popping up online. Anyone try these out? Should I order this one or the surface case by seidio? I'm worried this phone will shatter if I drop it!

I havn't tried the neo hybrid case yet but i currently own the Ultra Capsule case in green by SGP (search "ultra capsule skyrocket" on amazon)
This is not a hard case, but more of a rubber type. I really like it so far with the exception of the slight glitter look it has (but I don't even notice is unless the light is right). I've dropped my phone a few times and not a single mark was made.
According to amazon people are having issues with the Neo Hybrid loosening up a bit with use, so I'm not sure if it will be worth the price or not. Sorry I cant help more!
If you do end up looking into the Ultra Capsule case note that the speaker cutout on the back does not match perfectly( however i did not notice a muffled sound with the case on)
I have the Neo hybrid its not a bad case it has a thin profile I used it before I was able to get the otter commuter.

I'm really thinking of just saying the hell with it and getting the Otterbox Defender. I really need some good protection on this device lol.

I have a Neo Hybrid on my Skyrocket. It's a nice case but as others have said, the rubber silicone part is starting to get a little loose on mine.
My wife has an SGP Linear series on her original GSII and I really like it. SGP doesn't make it for the Skyrocket however. They said if there is enough interest it's possible they may in the future.
The linear series is like the Hybrid but with a plastic back instead of the silicone rubber.

Just wanted to warn everyone that the Electric Blue Spigen Ultra Fit provides absolutely no grip.
Just received it, and I am promptly sending it back. I also own the Bright Red Nexus 5 Ultra Fit case, and the difference is like night and day. The Nexus 5 Ultra Fit provides much more grip. I was quite surprised, as both cases are of the same series.
Contacted Spigen Support, they suggested that I try the black Ultra Fit S5 case.
Going to order that and see if the black Ultra Fit provides more grip.
In the mean time, back to using the Spigen Neo-Hybrid.

The black has an insane amount of grip as it's an actual matte based texture.

Yeah that's what the spigen tech told me also.
Placed my order, looking forward to it.
Thanks for replying
Received the black Spigen Ultra Fit. Looks absolutely wonderful!
Comes with the Spigen Ultra Clear screen protector too.Very satisfied.
Best $12.99 (Canadian) I spent in a long time. Now I have both Nexus 5 and S5 wrapped in this super-grippy slim case.
Would definitely recommend.
Which case would you put your trust into more?
I currently have the Spigen which I could take back for $15, and I have an Otterbox on the way that I spent $5 through coupons on which I can sell for $25.
But I don't care about money, I only care about which one you think will be best for my phone.
This is the second phone I've bought an Otterbox Commuter for. I love the Commuter's styling and protection and wouldn't buy anything else.
Commuter.i had to the hybrid but the commuter is way better
I have the neo hybrid cc and I love it. I love the fact that it's clear so you can show off the beauty of the phone. It's is very slim and has quite a bit of rubber material around the entire edge which seems to provide total coverage. I haven't dropped it yet, but I feel confident that I'll be good to go if I did. I also advise getting a tempered glass screen protector with this case. It will fit just inside the edges, leaving only a tiny gap around the edge. Hope this helps.
I have the spigen neo hybrid. Dropped the phone twice already? and
Still as it was when it came out of the box..?
The Otterbox Commuter has my vote.
I have the Neo Hybrid CC case and I love it. It adds very little bulk and yet the phone feels secure. I haven't dropped it yet *knock on wood* but it feels like it (the phone) would be OK if I did.
Personal opinion on the look of the Commuter case (and Otterbox cases in general) … This is a stunning phone. Probably the one of if not the nicest Android devices ever. Why would you put it in such a bulky, unattractive case? I mean, unless you work in construction, or have a history of dropping phones like crazy.
Otterbox Commuter
The otterbox commuter is just a tougher case.
I've trusted my phones to otterbox for 3 years now. Never had a broken phone through multiple drops including high speed fumbles that end up skittering across a concrete floor. Even stepped on my phone once with no damage.
Speck CandyShell
Sorry for not answering with Otterbox or Spigen but please hear me out.
I purchased an S4 on launch day 2 years ago and immediately had it in a Spigen Neo Hybrid. I used the Neo Hybrid for several months then switched to an Otterbox commuter which I used until getting the S6.
Between the S4 Neo Hybrid and Otterbox Commuter I felt like the Neo Hybrid looked better but the Otterbox Commuter was more durable.
I purchased a Spigen Neo Hybrid CC for my S6 when it was on Slickdeals discount code for $6.00
I used it for a few days and tried to like it but it just didn't compare to the Speck CandyShell case that I got for my wife's IPhone 6. The Speck CandyShell is a one part case.
I picked up a Speck CandyShell white and black and it will likely be the case I use for the next 2 years. When you put it on the phone it seriously makes the case feel like part of the phone.
The quality is great and it feels like it will protect the phone better than the Neo Hybrid CC. My brother has the base version of the Spigen Neo Hybrid on his S6 and the first thing he said when he felt my case was that he should have gotten it instead.
One downside to the case is that the power button and volume buttons are in the rubberized portion of the case exterior and do not provide the crisp feel of the metalized buttons on the Neo Hybrid case.
Another downside is that the back plastic shows small scratches easily. They do offer a grip version which has rubberized grip on the back which would keep the plastic from contacting the surface when setting the phone down.
Before selecting a case please go to Best Buy and test out the Speck CandyShell. You should be able to pull the case out of the box and put it on your phone to test.
So far I really like my Neo Hybrid. I had an Otterbox Commuter on my M8 and it was ok
Try the uag just got it. I have the commuter not even close. Protective and thin

Commuter.
Just wanted to get the word out about the Caseborne (formerly ArmadilloTek) V Series Kickstand Case. I've been a buyer of ArmadilloTek cases for quite a few number of Samsung Devices primarily for their rugged design paired with a good kickstand. This iteration by CaseBorne is not a let down, they've continued what's great about Armadillotek: Great fitting and designed case, tough design, and at a good price point. I like the charge port dust cover. I carry my phone with me everywhere even if it's sandy and dusty and this case helps keep the phone protected without adding heft or much more physical size.
I was so glad to see that they were available on Feb 14th when I pre-ordered my phone. I finally got my phone yesterday so I'm able to post my review now.
Let me know if you have any questions about it in particular.
Thanks for your review. I have an ArmadilloTek for my Note 20 Ultra and I am very satisfied with it. A little concerned about the lack of individual cutouts for each camera lens and flash for the S22 Ultra.

You can get a tempered glass camera shield from Amazon,.
BTW, The link to get the case is : https://getcaseborne.com/pages/s22-launch-sales-20-off
The name says it all. What did you get? I got the below so far, although I think I'm going to return the Spigen hybrid for the clear one.
Spigen Thin Fit

You want good corner hit protection or it will get damaged. The clear ones don't cut it. These are heavy phones that wuv to corner hit
Been using the Zizo Bolt case on my N10+ for 2 years, zero damage. Has been dropped on concrete from 2-4 feet more times then I liked to admit. Thin, easy to hold and clean, doesn't attract dirt, and doesn't fall apart when dropped.
The screen protector on this one might be a throw away; I use Gorilla IQ Sheild which works very well. The inner case kick stand is fragile but doesn't effect the protection.

Pitaka. I like em thin
Currently have Spigen Slim armor however Spigen Tough armor arrives tomorrow. The Tough armor is what I've used on my last 3 note devices and haven't had issues with it's protection yet.
Am rotating between Spigen Thin fit and Mous case.
Going between Spigen Liquid Crystal and Liquid Air Armor. Both have the individual camera cuts. I prefer the look of the Armor, but Liquid Crystal feels like I can drop it from 4 inches as opposed to 2 inches.
I ordered the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle pro. I wanted one with a stand AND camera closure slide window so that when I'm not using my camera my fingers won't touch the lenses and smudge them, but I couldn't find one without the metal ring type stand which blocks it from being able to wireless charge. I know this because I did already pre-buy a case that had both the stand and camera window slide closure thing, but it will not pick up a wireless charge. I feel like the Beetle Pro will accept wireless charging because the stand doesn't look like it protrudes very far.
Official Samsung leather case. I can't go back from them. Got one on my S20, 21, Zfold 3 and now this. Nothing beats the comfort, durability and even the smell of leather.

I had this on my pixel 6 pro. Looks better in person. The only caveat is that it adds some bulk to the phone.

Good call on th cryo armor! I just looked and it's available on Amazon now, for half of what their website says lol. Just ordered.
Found this S22 Ultra cases review. Might help to decide.
OtterBox Defender Pro with Belt clip. You can drop it on concrete or asphalt and it won't even scratch the case much less the phone. I been using the Defenders since the s7 Edge and never traded a phone in to Samsung that didn't look brand new and sratchless. The only downside is it will make your phone heavier but I can live with that. I've dropped mine on a concrete tile floor at work 3 times over the years and never even for scratched. If you keep your phone in your pocket in an office environment you can get away with slinmer cases. But if you work in a brutal environment it pays to have that extra protection.
I purchased the Samsung Black Leather Cover Case.
Precise , minimal, good quality and snug.
I would like the UAG MONARCH KEVLAR SERIES but it does not yet appear to be available in the UK and I'm hesitant to import it via the States.
Spigen Liquid Air Case , I like the look and cuts for every camera lens
I really liked Pitaka from the review.
Also considering dbrand case or Spigen Thin
Got CaseBorne S series and R series, BUT my phone is being delayed for shipping Will test but on naked view, the cases look AWESOME and with proper corner protection.
