Since I upgraded to android 12 the battery information does not work correctly.
Does anyone know how to fix it?

I have this problem as well after debloating. It's driving me nuts, hopefully someone can list out what you shouldn't debloat in order for this battery usage to works.

I had exactly the same problem but in my case I still don't know if it was after debloating. Following a list in a Spanish forum, I removed several system apps and disabled others when I was still on Android 11, then I received the update to Android 12 + Realme UI 3.0 and everything seemed to work perfectly. I decided to do a factory reset only because there are functions not available like background streaming but I think it is due to the market where you bought the phone (in my case, Spain).
After that factory reset I discovered that the battery app had the same error that you mention. So I did a hard reset from the realme recovery menu but before that I tried, unsuccessfully, to "force quit" the battery app and also clear the cache. Only the new reset solved the battery problem but brought a new one: I couldn't install apps from unknown sources.
So I did a third and final factory reset, like the first time from the settings menu, and right now I think my phone is fully functional again. I did a new bloatware cleanup with ADB AppControl but less intense than the first two times, although the problem I had with the battery didn't happen with the second reset and on that occasion I was more demanding with the debloat.
The only thing that worries me now also has to do with the battery app in realme UI 3.0. Is it normal for the "battery usage" list of apps to take a few minutes to update? In realme UI 2.0 it was pretty much instantaneous, I'm worried I've broken something forever with the debloat and the factory reset. Here you have a screenshot with my battery usage after the third reset and without debloating.

It sucks but debloating definitely had something to do with it. I did factory reset too and now it's fine. Also had the late update on battery usage stats but I think it will work out after some times, let the phone stabilise itself and all that.
I haven't debloated mine atm so I'm wondering what have you removed while still having the battery usage working fine? Would be nice to know since I can't be bothered resetting again. I hope I can at least safely debloat most google stuff and lock screen magazine.

@NotAnotherRookie This is what I have uninstalled (and disabled) with ADB AppControl for now:
com.android.chrome
com.coloros.childrenspace
com.coloros.systemclone
com.google.android.feedback
com.google.android.marvin.talkback
com.google.android.youtube
com.heytap.music
com.google.android.printservice.recommendation (disabled)
com.google.android.tts (disabled)
com.oppo.quicksearchbox (disabled)
The original list is longer but there are google services that I use on a daily basis. There are also system apps (oppo, realme, coloros... Even one from mediatek? (com.mediatek.omacp)) that I don't want to remove in case it could be the source of the problem, although my battery app bug only started with the first factory reset. Also, I don't know if it's normal but with each reset almost all the deleted apps came back (another user of that forum told me that for him only the disabled apps returned). These are apps that I deleted in Realme UI 2.0 that have not returned:
com.heytap.openid
com.oplus.obrain
com.coloros.healthservice
com.nearme.statistics.rom
com.coloros.locationproxy (I've seen this with different names: oppo and oplus instead of coloros)
About the delay of battery app, do you remember if before the debloat your phone quickly updated the battery usage stats even if it was only seconds? I have tested it with a Realme 6 Pro (UI 2.0) and almost all the apps I used appeared instantly even if they had only been in foreground for 10 seconds. Perhaps it is because the battery app menu is different in 2.0, there is a secondary menu to check usage stats and there is a small refresh time when accessing it.

Alright thanks for that. I also kinda feel that we shouldn't debloat all of the coloros, oplus etc since it seems like scumbag realme decided to make everything connected so if you disable one of them everything just stop working hence this battery usage issue. It wasn't like that in 2.0 as you can just debloat everything from the xda guide list and are fine.
The delay is definitely after the debloat. Right now I haven't debloat anything and battery usage works just fine. I feel that this is something that will get better the more updates we get, until then this is it for us. Just gotta ride along.

I'm not sure, the screenshot I shared was without any debloat and there was definitely some waiting time or delay between using any app and being able to see it in the stats. When you say "battery usage works just fine" do you mean that, in addition to being able to see the hours of 'screen on' and all that, there is a small delay for the stats to update or is it immediate for you?
Excuse me for asking the same thing so many times, my concerns with this phone are the battery app and notifications from whatsapp, telegram, discord... (some sound a few minutes later and others don't appear until I open the app).

Right I have not debloat and it doesn't have any delay. For your issue, i think you need to go to the apps you're using, App info>battery usage>allow background activity>enable it.
This should fix the delayed notification.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing and the only thing I get is that the notification (the popup) sounds two minutes later. It is very strange, as if the message arrived on my phone in time but it forgets to notify me. Other times it is instant.
The battery app dilemma is not the end of the world but I am worried that I have damaged something. If a new problem appears over the days, I'll do another reset and this time I won't delete anything again. Thanks and another question, what tool did you use for the debloat?

[Q] Package Access Helper killing my battery

I have a Galaxy Note running stock 4.1.2 Android. Over the last couple of days my battery usage has gone mad and only lasting 8-9 hours. I thought it was a duff battery and put my spare in but same result. When I looked at the battery usage I found that Package Access Helper was top of the list with 35% when it never shows usually. I Googled the problem but there was nothing very helpful.
I am also having trouble downloading any apps or deleting cache. I have rebooted several times, done a battery pull and have re-enabled all the apps I had disabled. It has made no difference and the PAH continues to hammer my battery. I would really like to avoid a factory reset if possible especially as this doesn't necessarily fix the problem apparently.
Please does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you already flashed the stock rom via Odin?
No, TBH, I wouldn't have a clue how to. I've never done anything to my phones in the way of rooting or flashing.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this please as it is still the same and I'm trying to avoid a factory reset?
Try this
Package Access Helper is the service which helps in installing and uninstalling of apps.
There are many posts of it draining battery.
Are there any software updates available in your phone, install it.
If no open play store and update all available apps.
If not fixed then clear caches using app manager 3 or any other.
Uninstall any recently installed apps when the problem started.
And pull out battery wait for 2 mins reinsert the battery and boot up phone it may be fixed..
Hit thanks if I helped..

kill cached process in developer options
open the developer's options via the last option in your settings (about phone) then scroll down to your build number spam tap the crap out of it then go back to your settings open the development tab open running services and in the top right should say something cached processes and kill process Package access helper.
The package access helper is draining my battery. Is there another app to use

Memory Leak still present??? Launcher redraw, stuttering, lag

So my Nexus 5 starting to have some crazy redraws on the launcher and really began to stutter and lag. i wasn't sure what it was so i did some searched online and found out that there was a memory leak bug in the developer preview of L. It appears at least in my experience the bug is still there.
What happens is if you go to your settings/apps and look at what's "running" you'll find that "system" hogs up a MASSIVE amount of ram after 1-2 days of usage. If you do a reboot you'll find it starts off ~200mb which seems reasonable. the screenshot i've attached is after about 14 hours of usage after a reboot and i'm at roughly 540mb of usage. I'm sure by tonight i'll be at roughly 800mb and the redraws are going to start as the OS starts to close apps etc. Which is when a reboot will be needed.
Curious to see what your system ram usage's are after a few days use and if you're experiencing similar lag/stuttering/redraws as well.
Star here if you experience this as well:
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=79729
UPDATE 11/28/2014 - 73 hours uptime
Ram usage now around 900-1gb for system. Redraws are occurring on launcher here and there now. Issue still present or working as intended I have no idea at this point.
UPDATE 11/26/2014 - 27 hours uptime
Ram usage hovering around 600mb for system. Still no redraws. Looks as if the services update changed the priorities so that launcher doesn't redraw at least. Haven't noticed any slowdowns either.
UPDATE 11/25/2014 - 14 hours uptime
Ram usage now at 700mb for system. No redraws yet.
UPDATE 11/25/2014 - 6 hours uptime
I updated today to google play services 6.5 and I know it's still early, but as of 6 hours uptime, my system is still hovering only around 180mb-250mb ram usage. Much more normal! yay. fingers crossed to see after a few days.
UPDATE
Coming up on close to two days uptime, 33 hours and system ram usage is now close to 800mb.

I haven't noticed this, mine is using 359M of RAM I have been running for 36 hrs now. Did you factory reset after updating to Lollipop?
I didn't want to factory reset since that would defeat the purpose of the OTA....what I did do was clear cache.
Sometimes OTA's makes a factory reset necessary unfortunately. It can cause issues. Specially such a big update as this.
Perhaps I will do a factory reset and see what happens, but in the meantime still curious to see if anyone else is having this issue as well.

yup, those were the exact sources I was reading that there were issues. I was surprised there wasn't a separate thread about it more recently since the official deployment of L so wondered if it was only isolated cases.
I've read very few that has had the issue. Definitely not a widespead issue as we would had been flooded with threads by now then. So I would try a reset and that will most likely fix it.
I believe my device has memory leak issue too. I did a fresh flash from factory image and launcher will start to redraw everytime i press home after about 1 day usage.
I mainly only use it to play boom beach and hay day and surf webs.

Check your system ram usage when it starts to redraw and report back.
I can't believe this only effects a few people. This has to be a bug everyone is experiencing sooner or later. Maybe many people don't even notice. But for me it's the most annoying thing about lollipop. I hope a fix is coming soon.

This honestly may be a strange solution to this problem buuuut.... Out of curiosity when I noticed on android police's website that there was a new play services update. Keep in mind im on official lollipop with all the terrible lag and battery issues too, but once I updated to the latest services apk and rebooted everything was buttery smooth again just like (or even better the kk) seems like the nexus really is a "google" phone now. Hope it helps!!

I'm also really looking forward to the new services update! unfortunately, you did reboot your phone. Not sure if it's the update that fixed it or the reboot cause rebooting does temporarily fix it for now.
I understand where your coming from. I did reboot and actually reflashed the images several times and still had the issues everyone else seems to have. Updated the apk and wallah! Weird I know but worked for me ha
I did a manual flash from google factory images. I even have the latest google play services. A reboot does fix the problem temporarily. It seems like whenever I drive in my car (nav, waze music ect) I lose memory like crazy and many things in the apps menu including the launcher says restarting and everything is laggy as crap until I restart my phone again. I'll grab screen shots next time to show.

Memory Leak
HOLY COW..!! This is true after one day of usage ,if i check for available ram is shows only 500mb...YES System eats about 1GB RAM....I hav upgraded my cell with OTA..But no luck....When i was on KITKAT i always used to get 1.2GB FREE RAM..Lollipop sucks about this RAM issue...lets hope google will fix this issue soon!!
I have this ****ing and anooying issue and don't know how to solve. I have sometimes popups of clean master app saying "your memory is 85% full". After a reboot it works well for a few hours
I have it to.. Google is joking.

Receiving Notifications only through Wifi!

I am receiving push notifications normally on my Huawei Mediapad x2 until it is Idle for an hour or so.. I receive notifications from Whatsapp normally but after an hour of standby (or even less than an hour), I don't receive notifications anymore unless I open Whatsapp by myself, then I start receiving them again normally. Whereas Facebook for example, when I installed it first, I received notifications normally, but then I do not receive any notification from Facebook anymore unless I launch the app manually. But then Will not receive notifications again until I launch it manually again. Several apps behave like Facebook as well. BUT I DO receive notifications from all apps whenever I use Wifi!
Note that all my Notifications settings are normal, and I've set these apps to launch automatically when the system starts up.
I am a newbie to Android, I am not rooted, updated to 6.0 OTA. Please help!
I wish I could help you, but unfortunately, my notifications have been iffy since I bought the phone in Dec 2015. I'm running stock B112.
Gmail seems to provide instant notifications, especially on Wifi, but notifications on Facebook Messenger are always delayed...I usually have to open the app, at which point it refreshes and starts buzzing with messages one by one until the messages are all loaded. Whatsapp is similar, with notifications appearing on the status bar only rarely. Opening up the app however begins to load and display all messages.
I've tried everything I can, including going into the app settings and allowing all permissions, as well as turning off any of the battery life saver features that might be delaying the notifications. No dice.

I am on B112 on stock unrooted 703L and I don't experience this issue. Make sure you don't close the alp via square open apps button. Huawei kills any app if you do that or close all, even if it's protected
Thank you guys for your support. I have done a Data factory reset, and I still suffer from the same issue when the phone goes into deep sleep, I do not receive notifications anymore from any 3rd party apps. Any other suggestions please?
There's an option in system settings that allows you to keep apps alive, even when the phone has gone to sleep. You need to find that option either in the settings menu, or in the "phone manager app". I've never experience problem with apps that I've "mark/tick" to keep alive.

I have tried.. All settings are correct but still no fix
I think I have the same problem concerning WhatsApp, Wear Messages for my Smartwach and constant pulse measuring with Mi Band Tools.
All of them are only working when I open them manually and if I don't close them via square button to free my RAM and even then they don't work all the time.
I just recently updated from stock B112 to B211 but it is still the same.
I went through all options in every settings menu but it didn't help.
I also tried the app Phone Notification Fixer No Root with no success.
I don't know what else to do.
Maybe a Custom Rom would help.
I really like this phone but this "bug" makes it pretty useless.
Do you have any 3rd party task killer apps installed? Your apps are getting killed when your screen turns off.
Phone Manager -> Battery Manager -> Protected Apps. Turn ON for all those apps.
No, I have no extra task killer and I already protected all apps. I found another older thread here with people who have the same problem and one mentioned it would be a general Huawei problem with the phone manager.
In the same thread I read that you can protect opened apps in the app drawer (square button) when you pull them down. Testing this at the moment and it seems to do the trick. But I will probably test a Custom ROM tomorrow.

If that works for you then it seems what your original issue is that YOU are killing your apps manually using the square button - read my quote below which I wrote here a few days ago already.

I already stopped killing WhatsApp etc via Square before but after some time they stopped working again, maybe because of some timeout?

That is MY thread. I was able to overcome this by not killing apps via square button. If you want even better results, make the app a system app
Ah ok, sorry, I didn't look at the usernames. Well than thank you for the help
To make an app a system app I need root I guess?
I have this same issue but it's not restricted to Wifi (read on).
As others have pointed out, there used to be a setting that would allow programs to run in the background once your phone sleeps (screen off), but this was taken out in Marshmallow anyways. Even with it in lollipop the phone still does this. This is a direct consequence of both Android and EMUI, both of which have stringent algorithms intended to manage resources and save power, so that applications get pre-empted after a certain period of inactivity. This affects Whatsapp, Google hangouts, etc. Actually most of my notifications for these apps only show up after I manually launch them. This means I always miss whatsapp and Hangouts calls. ALWAYS!
So long story short, to get your notifications, just open the respective apps (manually) and they should come through (that is until Android / EMUI decide to clear them from memory).
Also, it would help if you avoid closing these apps using the trash icon at the multi tasking UI.
Hope this helps. I know its annoying, but I wouldn't give up my X2 for another phone

First off, you can still set apps ad "Protected Apps" in Marshmallow, see my post above. Also, my protected apps don't get killed unless I use the square button (which you referred to as the trash in your post). What other apps are u running that make the OS memory cleanup kill your apps?
A short update from my side:
Switched from stock B211 to KangVIP B211, still had the same "issues".
Tried the advice to make certain apps system apps.
Tried it with a app called "/system/app mover" which is free.
Moved WhatsApp, Android Wear and Mi Band Tools to system apps.
Now everything works like I know it from other phones before.
I can kill every app with the built in taskkiller (square button) and I still get notifications from whatsapp etc. instantly. Mi Band Tools constant pulse measuring also working and so does my smartwatch.
Thanks to all the people here for their guides/hints/etc., otherwise I had to sell my X2.
Don't know if I would buy a Huawei/Honor again tough.

First off, you can still set apps ad "Protected Apps" in Marshmallow, see my post above. Also, my protected apps don't get killed unless I use the square button (which you referred to as the trash in your post). What other apps are u running that make the OS memory cleanup kill your apps?

Pretty much any app that consumes resources. For example: Chrome with multiple tabs, or Mortal Kombat X.
I also want to point out the behavior definitely repro's if I use the little trash icon (its not square, but it shows up when you use the square button to bring up recent apps), but even if I DON'T use it, Android/EMUI will eventually kill off background apps REGARDLESS OF IF THEY ARE IN THE PROTECTED LIST OR NOT.
This causes a problem with apps that need to always run, such as Whatsapp and Hangouts, where incoming texts/calls almost never make it through since the OS/skin decided to recycle their resources.

Couldn't get this to work. I installed system app mover and made sure I gate it root permissions. However it keeps complaining about busybox not found. I installed busybox as well, still no dice.
Instead I used Titanium Backup pro version (had to pay $6) and had to reboot after each app (Titanium kept hanging at processing but it worked anyways).
That didn't solve the core problem though. I rebooted the phone, made sure to close all apps, and attempted to dial my number.
Hangouts didn't receive the call because it's not "running". When I manually launched hangouts it complained about having to re-install itself. It then opened the google play store and the only option was to "open" it. Again, it refuses to open and keeps saying it needs to re-install itself.
There has GOT to be a way to get apps to act as services. This alone is forcing me to reconsider the X2 as a viable "phone"....
Thanx

Hi, I just stumbled across a setting which *might* be your problem. Go to Phone Manager -> Battery Manager, and click on the gear icon in the top-right corner which will open a settings menu. You will get the menu in the screenshot below. Make sure the option "Close excessively power-intensive apps" is OFF

Thanks for the tip. This is already off though and the behavior still repro's.
I'm starting to believe its the Android OS itself. I did a test on an entirely different device running an entirely different OEM skin (Verizon Note 4 running oTA marshmallow) and tried opening multiple games and chrome tabs. Sure enough, even with roughly 200 to 300MB of free RAM, the OS stepped in and killed what it deemed to be "not needed". I should also point out that Hangouts notifications work just fine on the Note 4, which leads me to believe EMUI and its Nazi-like power consumption tricks may also have something to do with this.

Question S22 Ultra Spen & Note issue

Hello everybody,
I am enjoying my S22 Ultra which is almost 2 days old now.
Something strange happened.
I have also raised this in another topic but by then, i didn't know the reasons and i didn't give much details.
Today i had some testing.
Yesterday night, after i set up the phone 99% (with the apps i used but not fine tuned), i charged the phone to 100% for the first time (the only 100% was when i got the phone before first starting) and as it hit 100% i removed from the charge and went to sleep.
This morning, to check notifications and take notes of some of the items, when i got Spen out and used it, the phone (touchscreen) got laggish and phone started acting a bit late and weird in terms of response to open apps or make actions in them.
Anyways, after like 5 minutes the phone made a soft restart itself and drained around 6-8% of battery.
I wasn't pleased but didn't make a big fuss out of it.
This happened when i tried to resize the note app size with Spen drawn out. First instead of resizing, the note (right and bottom quarters) were dragged out of the screen making the right end and bottom sides unusable and also made the resizing impossible.
After the reset, some hours later, i tried the same and got the crash report of notes. Literally the notes app crashed when i resized the note screen with the Spen.
Did this happen to somebody else?
Any recommendations?
I thought of removing Samsung Notes and reinstalling but also thought maybe Spen also need to be formatted etc.
Otherwise the phone seems to be acting pretty good with just some minor milisecond lags/stutters once in a long while, battery still has 17% with around 4,5hrs SoT (and this is as said the 2nd day, battery is still learning, didn't do any power saving, never turned bluetooth off etc. So using it as it must be used) with a total of 22hrs battery usage.
Have around 100 apps that i use installed etc.
So it would say otherwise it is holding pretty good.
Would appreciate if you guys can help me pinpoint and solve this issue.
Thank you in advance
First thing I would do is check if any updates are available and install them to get up to the latest version.
Clear system cache.
Try a hard reboot (NOT factory reset).
Try in safe mode as a 3rd party app may be the cause.
Return Samsung apps to their factory load version; undo updates. Clear related app cache then data if the former doesn't work.
Try to find the root cause rather than doing a factory reset as the issue is likely to reoccur.
Factory reset if you did a major OTA upgrade.
If you used SmartSwitch, if suspect malware or if you can not resolve it (if so use discretion loading 3rd party apps after the reset!).
I did and didn't see any updates.
The device is SD 512 btw if that matters

I didn't do smart switch. Downloaded everything from scratch.
The data was mostly on cloud anyway (OneDrive and Google).
Only thing i did was to increase additional RAM to 8gb rather than 4 (12+8 now rather than 12+4).
Do you think it is fixable or shall i return/replace it?
However, mimicing the same for the service would be hard.
Also, tbh, worried if i replace and get a phone with bad battery or bad cpu etc.
Man, i h8 this situation Samsung put which make us think 3 times before doing something with the phone.

Your call on returning. Since you don't know the cause it's hard to say. It's likely not hardware but that can't be completely rules out. Many apps aren't compatible with Android 11 and especially 12, that's probably the cause or a bug on the Samsung side.
Personally I haven't found a keeper in any of the Samsung post N10+ releases... my N10+'s will likely be in use for years. Between Samsung and Gookill Android I no desire to deal with their substandard bs... hype walks, functionality talks.
They haven't given more than they took away since the N10+. Not having an SD card causes many issues and is not acceptable. It's far more important than 5G or variable refresh rates, the latter two contribute to reduced battery life. Scoped storage and forced encryption has also degraded performance and battery life. When I add the known excellent build quality, form factor and reliability of the N10+, it became the logical choice. Bought my second new one 5 months ago.
I use whatever comes in handy.

I was asking about your opinion since you are more experienced in Samsung than me.
The battery drain occured after the Spen issue happened.
And today i got the "Notes stopped working" error when i was playing with Spen/notes to see if i could replicate the error.
And just now, i tried to replicate it again and moved the window around aggressively.
Only issue is time to time Spen stopped dragging it as if i have lifted.
Other than that, the phone acts/reacts normal.
The only differences are as follows;
1) The note screen is smaller than the beginning if it may have an impact
2) I think the first time it rebooted, i was dragging it aggressively while it was giving (or trying to give) the first time tips for the Spen notes
Did it fix itself, maybe?
Maybe shall i try increasing the size of note window and test again?
I got burned by snotes so I never have used them in their latest incarnation.
If that's the only issue with the spen/display it's likely nothing serious. Most issues on my N10+'s I fix by playing with them; play & learn.
Go to Device Care>memory and clear the cache, now open the app giving you trouble, and see what populates in that cache screen when it loads or when there's trouble. The apps at the top have most recently loaded. Developer options>running/cache services too.
You can also see ram usage in Developer options and running services, check for memory leaks, etc.
Further down, open Standby apps, do all buckets show as active? If so global power management is not enabled. However if you can change the bucket state it means power management is running, if so disable it. It's a know trouble maker.
Global power management is disabled. You can not turn it on/off here, it's found in Device Care>battery. Only enable fast/super charging there on the switch toggles.

Question So many problem with this phone

I bought a pixel 7 pro and I admit that I am really disappointed. The camera it is true is of quality but otherwise many problems for me. The most annoying thing is the total absence of notification from the messaging applications or the SMS application. Otherwise the sound works correctly, general sound, alarm sound and even notification from the google photos application which tells me what I have memories of the past. Today I made the last update hoping that finally my problem would be solved but not at all and instead while it was working previously the applications which are reduced disappear and I no longer have the possibility of close open applications it's as if I had not launched any application, the list is empty. Does anyone have the same problems as me?

If you took the latest OTA, just factory reset the phone. I have none of the problems you are experiencing. I suspect you disabled some settings for notifications. Do yourself a favor and factory restore the phone. It's one of the best phones I have used.

The problem is that I already did a factory reset 2 months ago and it didn't change anything. Believe me, I checked all notification settings and everything is enabled even in the app itself. I just got one from google photos and it's the only app I've seen on AOD since I got the phone. I never had another. it's a really mysterious problem. I know that in the end I will end up doing another factory reset because I don't really see any other solution otherwise I would bring the phone back to the store

Thank you very much it solved my problem about recent apps disappeared
Some settings are also backed up with your Google account so it is possible that maybe done of your notification settings are persisting due to restored backups.

No problems like that on my 7Pro
Was that really the only problem(s) you were having? I guess we have different definitions of "so many". Thanks for the advice, boontje3, it saved OP from this train wreck of a dumpster fire phone
I almost threw my phone in the trash, glad it was fixed.

I think it may be a backup and restore problem but not at the level of the google account settings because while all the notifications are activated at the phone and application level, I don't have any except google photos . If it was a google settings problem (which I haven't changed) it shouldn't prevent messenger or telegram from working normally which is not the case. I suspect the problem is using Samsung smart swith to transfer my data and some apps from my S20+ to the Pixel 7 pro. I will redo a factory reset and reinstall my applications manually. It's true that normally that's what I do but this time for ease I used this application and maybe that's where the problem comes from. if after doing a new factory reset but this time without using smart switch to restore I still have the same problem well I think I will have to turn to a hardware problem or my phone is haunted

Well having a phone that does not receive any notifications even from the basic SMS application is still a serious problem for me. Moreover, this is not the only problem noted. For example I use smart launcher which allows to save the configuration of the launcher. The feature works perfectly on the S20+ but not at all for me with the pixel 7 pro while they are both on Android 13. and during the last update I had to uninstall and reinstall the basic launcher of google because closing recent applications was no longer possible as indicated above by boontje3 which doing this finaly solved the problem
Sounds more like a launcher issue? Action Launcher restored settings for me perfectly just today.

Yes maybe possible but the fact remains that the functionality works on the Samsung not with the Pixel

So if it works normally for you, that means in the 5 or 6 google system apps that I removed using adb, like Google one or something else (nothing very special and really not much just some crap I don't want ) prevents it from working for me because it still doesn't work. On my S20+ I debloated maybe 50 or more and everything still works perfectly. I specify that the problem with the notifications has nothing to do since it is from the beginning that I have the phone long before I delete these few system app
Your browser is not able to display this video.
So, let me get this straight, you mess with the system software and then you complain that the system does not do what you expect... Ok.
The fact that on your Samsung you removed dozens of apps without a problem only tells me that it's full of really useless crap.
This will help probally, ( They are an AOSP apps, so they can work because they have their own messages prioritet.
