I'm using a sylvania tablet ,running 2.1. Can someone help please
New to Android OS.
settings - applications - development - check usb debugging
use usb debugging , setting > aplication > usb debugging
I'm having the same problem USB debugging IS checked so I then uncheck and recheck it. I've done this 15 times. Also rebooted. Any tips on getting this root app to work?
Thanks
I'm wondering if there is a code to get usb debugging turned on through the dialler? likke when you type *#0*# into the dialler you get to function test but one to do usb debugging.

Not to my knowledge, no.
However, you can easily turn it on from Development Options. Use this command to launch it from the terminal:
Code:
su
am start -n com.android.settings/.DevelopmentSettings
Thanks anyway but I know about that lol. Just was wondering if it was possible so could do it if Couldn't get past lock screen and needed to flash, root etc or adb
I'm trying to root my newly update U11 Pie. Got ADB up and working and developer options enabled. However:
Code:
c:\HTCU11>adb devices
List of devices attached
FA77R180xxxx unauthorized
I am never prompted on the phone to authorise USB debugging. I do get a prompt to "Use USB for file transfers", every time I connect via USB. I've set default USB configuration to be "No data transfer" and I've repeatedly hit "Revoke USB debugging authorisations".
Any idea how I can authorize my PC for debugging?
Ah, just me being a dumbass. I've since downloaded the latest SDK Platform Tools and the phone is now prompting me to authorize:
https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools.html
TWRP and Magisk installed, all is well again with the world!

Peace I have tried all the options displayed on the site, and I have no way of getting into developer options. Install an app that blocks this option. Is it possible through the computer to enable key mode debugging mode?
Thanks
Trying to connect my sonim xp3 to adb, but for some reason as soon as I turn on usb debugging, the device doesnt get recognized by the computer at all.
Enabling USB Debug in Android -> Settings -> Developer Options only prepares establishng an USB-connection via ADB, but doesn't connect.
To connect you've to run
Code:
adb devices
in Windows CMD terminal.
