On Miui 13, realized the body text of my notifications now (while in dark mode) are greyish dark, instead of the usual white.
I tried looking for solutions for changing the text to white but to no avail. I then also came across the below reference.
Thus, i was wondering if anyone else from different OS also experiencing this issue.
it's a bit hard to read with the grey color now.

Wish someone could rectify this immediately. It's very annoying not being able to see my notifications swiftly anymore.
Still having the same issue...
Just moved from crDroid to Miui 13.0.3 Global on my Poco F2 Pro and this grey text is the only issue I've found so far. Any 3rd party apps or something that can fix the text to be white?

Turn on high contrast text in accessibility under the vision tab. It is the only temporary solution I found.

Hi all.
I own Honor 8 Lite and today I recieved a new Oreo 8.0 update. With this update some things changed on my phone, and I really hate the new "colors" which are in my notifications bar and when i open like settings, because they weren't like that. So I've tried to find a way to change this, but even changing theme doesn't have an effect. And that is why I am here, I was hoping that some of you guys might help me take care of this color thing.
First, I'll post photos how things are now, and then how things were.
After update:

Before update:
See how I got that new gray-ish color if something is activated, and I used to have that nice blue, and I want to switch back to it, same with settings on top where I got that ugly new color, and I had that white-ish.

Strange, the second screenshots look more like oreo to me xD
Have you tried to find a theme that changes settings colours? Try and download themes manager for huawei app from play store and pick a dark theme from there and see if it changes anything.
I don't reccommend trying substratum themes on emui as it will most likely break something important.
You could also try and check for any updates from huaweiappgallery.
Also, how did you recieve the update? Through official OTA or via some other custom method? If you used HuRupater let me know as I think i know how to fix it in that case.
Yes, that second picture is Oreo from my friend's phone, but I know that mine Nougat was something like that, without this new color, but that doesn't really bothers me that much. Thing that I really hate is that I don't have that nice blue color on my notifications bar..
I got update via system update, didn't do anything
Recently updated my p20 to the 9.0.0 emui, and the phone changed to a light theme. Can't seem to change it back through notifications. Is there a way for me to change it (preferably without downloading a mod)? Thanks in advance!

You can achieve this with using a custom theme.
I'll post more about this later.

I'm very disappointed with the EMUI 9 update on the P20, I'm of course happy to receive the system speed enhancements, I just feel the user interface and graphical design very weak. ( IMHO )
" EMUI 9.0 features a simplified design to reflect natural elements and nature’s sound. Our inspiration comes from blending natural colour transitions and light and shadow with mountains, ocean water, glaciers and stones to form a translucent visual presentation."
I would be interested to know how to change these functions, if anyone can advise.
1- The Light theme is terrible and should have been made an option in settings rather than removing any chance of black mode. How to change the pull down notifications back to a black background and white icons.
2- The changing the Contacts images to mountains (if you haven't set one) when it used to be Initials seems unhelpful.
3- When using the Dialler contacts now have an allocated murky brown colour below the image and behind the icons. (which isn't the most flattering when people call you. )

Can't see the picture but I might know what you talking about.
My F2 has also vertical "spots" in low light/dark conditions when there also dark content displayed on the screen.
I think it is normal for OLED Screens, although I must say it is quite visible on the Poco f2.

Thanks for your reply
Yes it appears in dark condition specialy on grey, dark grey color and a lot of apps using it in dark mode so it's normal no need to change the phone

Yes exactly. I must admit it is quite irritating seeing those at first; these "shadow lines" are especially more prominent when the DC dimming feature is activated.
I had those on every phone with OLED Screens (Galaxy S, S2, S3 etc. you name it) and also on the OnePlus 6.
I assume OLED Screens are not perfectly balanced out regarding their illumination strength or there are slight impurities/imperfections in the panel, since these are organic light emitting diodes. But I don't really know why these lines appear especially in low light conditions.
Other than that it does not bug me much (anymore) since in most use cases the lines/shadows are not visible.
Hello everybody
I recieved the phone and i have 2 questions
1. Can I change the locations of the features in the status bar or add more (like share screen/DND)? My previous phone LG G6 has this option which very comfortable with one click to activate/disactivate and dont have to go to setting and activate it there? (picture attach)

2. Can i move the notifications from right to left and the wifi, battery precantage, clock to right?

Your phone is POCO F2 PRO?
I dont have this option, also for DND in the status bar.
Looks like its unchangable...
Probably because the phone version is EEA not GLOBAL

Without any precision in the thread, we consider that the phone is up to date.
He probably forgot to swipe left/right to see all the quick option tiles... why would rom version matter here? I bet all versions have the EDIT button.
Unless Xiaomi is outright crazy with the number of different software versions

If you had better looked at the capture of the first post, you would have seen that there are no two dots at the bottom to go to the next screen.
that's all
Well then, Xiaomi is starting to disappoint me... Poco F2 Pro has many more bugs, comparing to my older Redmi Note 5.
No wonder, if there are so many different software versions for the same device :/
Since October updates, severals stranges and not nice stuffs appears.

Shortcuts are blacks and notification panel is white. With dark theme, panel become black and shortcuts still same color.
It's not beautiful and not logical so is it a bug ?
What about your phone ?

Lol i am not using pixel 4a but using pixel 5 GSI on my Nokia 6.1. that GSI ported from Pixel 5 .i had a lot pixel GSI.i had no issue like this .try resetting your device maybe it will fix it or contact Google from Pixel 4a .if not search YouTube or Google for that issue
Same here on Pixel 4a for a week.
The first Android 12 update worked great, i got the full notification bar.
But now, i'm stuck with 4 first buttons as shown by fatomic. I can't slide/pull one time more to open the full notification menu. So i can't access anymore to others buttons, notification menu edition, settings shortcut or light control.
The pixel 3 got a12, and it has the same thing.
From research I've seen, google did this because it uses less resources than an opaque type background.
I don't really like it but find it's not that hard to live with, don't really use that pulldown shade that much. And the rest of the system does seem quite a bit more responsive. Scrolling is very fast.
