Question Battery High Consumption - Xiaomi 12

Hi, I know that it is a very new device, but I'm experiencing a really high battery consumption.
In very low usage the battery last not more than 12-14 hours.
What it seems being the most strange thing is that from the battery graph is the wifi that use more than 30% of power without usage (only the background application when some data is pushed)
Just as example in 3hours 615 mAh is wifi power usage, the screen 328 mAh with 50 min (but it seems unrealistic).
My old mi8 after 6 years had the same power consumption with the original battery...
Any opinion about that?
Xiaomi 12 - Global ROM 13.0.10 - MIUI 13

Dunno if this is related, you may opt to disable the usage access of the Digital Wellbeing and do different charging cycle. Hope this helps. I'm on 13.0.6 global version btw.

Hi, I cannot say exactly how, but after I signed for the Digital Wellbeing in beta version it seems that the wifi problem is solved.

I have read it somewhere (forgot the site) that it's always running in the background. You may opt to disable it depending on your preference.

I am not aware of that. Also, are you referring to the wifi battery consumption on our device?

My battery ends very quickly and I do not know why.
Maybe it's adguard (block adds on all the apps on my phone) or that adguard is show there because it's working on the VPN Internet so the Internet working all the time and because it, it's show in the first list?
Adguard is using most of your battery

your foreground usage shown that your usage not too much
but your darin tell us that your phone have some hidden services that drain your battery
i advice you do reset factory because many of times we can not find the battery drainer
but one important question
are you on custom rom or rooted phone?
if true did you modify cpu or other ?

Low power saving mode

Hey guys,
Am new to the Honor 8, when i bought the device on 17-07-2017, it was running MM but the same day received update to Nougat.
The phone is just awesome in terms of performance and camera, but, yeah, but, the battery. I battery is draining pretty fast overnight even when I have kept the mobile data, WIFI and GPS off.
So if you guys can suggest me some tips to save the drain that would be great.
I also saw a mode under the battery settings which stated as Low resolution power saving, which should reduce the screen resolution to save power.
But I didnt notice any difference visually , also to be sure I checked the resolution using CPU-Z which confirmed that it is 1080 x 1920
Is it a bug? or am I missing something?
Sorry if there is an existing thread for the same.
Try this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/guide-battery-life-nougat-t3623980
Just be sure you don't use power saving modr, it's totally useless
Always backup and factory reset the device first. That usually fixes most software issues with this device, including battery drain.
As for the screen resolution, the app only reads the native resolution of the screen, not the software based down sampling.
And yes, power saving mode does work, but it does so by turning off auto sync. Not my preference but it does work. If yours isn't working, see my first sentence.

From my experience, power saving mode is still quite snappy. The only downside for me is the screen goes off really fast.

Is b340 indian version?
In fact after I received the B340 OTA update, my overnight power drain problem disappeared almost completely, where I used to see a 10/12% drain overnight (between mid-night and 8 AM with phone in airplane mode for that duration) now I see a drain between 1 to 2% only.

High android system usage

Hi all, after owning my S7 G930FD for about 6 months, i've got huge battery drain caused by android system always in top of my battery stats, draining more than the screen. Yesterday i flashed the latest firmware with a FULL wipe, also formatted my sd card, waited until the second cycle and it's back again,i have no idea what the hell is going on, it also happened when the phone still didnt update or install any app after the firmware installation. I remember having similar problem with the S6 on latest MM builds and Nougat, are they doing this on purpose ? Check my screenshot below i just took it right now, my only guess left now is the sd card,i'm not really sure, please tell if you have similar problem or if possible provide your battery stats so i can compare android system usage, thanks in advance :fingers-crossed:

Get Accubattery and monitor current draw. If it is at more than 500mA while on the home screen then something is up.

Your Battery-Usage is perfect. This drain which you can see is normal, i think.
Below you can see my battery stats with 14 minutes SOT, and no background Apps running.

Does the battery drain remains after C.02 or C.03 updates?

As many other users, I've been experiencing battery drain since ColorOS 9 to Realme UI 1.0, RMX1971_11_C.01, upgrade.
I was wondering if anyone can confirm that the issue remains after RMX1971_11_C.02 or RMX1971_11_C.03 updates. Thanks

Same, I ended up getting back to ColorOS 6 after given c.02 a try. The battery life with ColorOS 6 is definitely better than with c.02.
I'm getting good battery backup after upgrading to realmeos.

I offer digital marketing course in chennai and gaining access to internet from my smartphone is a key factor for my business. Realme 5 is a great choice for me especially with battery backup.
I updated my realme 5 pro OS to color OS and it is doing great job battery optimization. I traveled 600kms by listening to music with online streaming connected to bluetooth speaker in the car. The battery backup dropped from 98 to 96% only. My older mobiles will be switched off in other scenarios while travelling.
Does the battery drain remains after C.04 update?
