Hi I have a problem with my software update on my Huawei y9s if I try update it, it tells me it's up to date and gives me the following message /preas/xxx not found in/product/hw_oem/STK-L22DV/parent_cust.cfg, and shows that my device is unknown please help.

Hello everyone,
When I switch on my Honor 8 it shows an odd screen. It is written "Your device has failed verification and may not work properly. To learn more, visit [I can't post links]". That page has a list of phones but there isn't Honor 8.
If I try to press Volume Up for three seconds the phone goes into eRecevovery mode and it asks me to "Download latest verison and recovery" but after connecting to WiFi and trying to downloand the update it shows "Getting package info failed".
However, if from the initial odd screen I press the power button imy phone starts booting and I can use it without any problems.
Do you know what the "Your device has failed verification" means and how I can solve this problem?

Or you've tried to flash another rom?
This err seems as a common issue with failed update.

My phone is running the stock rom. It is updated to Nougat (FRD-L09C432B389).
There isn't the verizon software update assistant version for Huawei, at least I didn't manage to find it
Are there any possible solutions other than rollback to Marshmello?

You can try to rollback through dload method.

I have the same problem someone help please
My p9 lite is VNS-L22C706B120. I never upgraded it since I bought it in New Zealand, though I have received notification of updating to B130 for a long while.
Recently I tried updating to B130 in order to get Android 7 finally, but got problem that the successful update takes no effect at all. I still remain at B120 and keep receiving update notification to B130. I described my steps recently as below:
Try Updater
First of all, I tried using Updater downloading the package and install, it says update failed because the package it not found. I found the reason is the update package is stored in internal storage other than SD card. Then I created dload folder and moved update package to SD card, but Updater cannot detect it and keep telling me to download B130. Therefore, I tried pressing Volume Up, Down and Power button together. Then the package is detected and installing started. It is very fast and I was told install success. However, after rebooting I still have B120 and am told to update to B130 by Updater.
Unlock bootloader and root
Yesterday, I decided to try custom ROM, so I managed to unlock the bootloader, install TWRY and root the phone, though I still cannot make B130 update take effect. I searched for a few custom Rom with Android 7, but I found they still required a higher firmware version than B120, like this ROM, which requires EMUI 5.X.
The help I need
I wonder if I can flash the ROMS that require a higher firmware version when I only got B120 firmware. If I cannot, how can I get my firmware updated, through Updater or any other way (like TWRY possibly) ?
I hope I have stated my problem properly so that you guys can understand. I appreciate any suggestions!

Previously I installed version nrd90m testkeys, I brought them to technician to fix and my phone is currently working. But there is a problem that the phone only has a single theme, in the theme application when clicked apply it the message "has applied theme" but nothing happens.
I fix it by unlocking the bootloader and flash userdata.img but still can not fix it.

Thats happened when you factory reset..you can overcome the problem if you flash new firmware..try check your update system..if not successful to update through ota then try download from firmware finder in play store
Hello.
I installed firmware finder on my huawei Y7 that has Warranty yet, then i tried to install one of the latest firmare ota-mf, I tried to intall but it failled then i got this message: "your device has failed verification and may not work properly".
Any solution for it? I wanted to know that if I send it to the warranty that they can fix it there.

Right now I am at Emui 12, 290 and there is a new 296 software (december security patch).
Last security patch I have recieved at 30. 11. 2022. (290) over My Huawei app but nothing this month so far.
So I have tried the eRecovery update but get the error "getting package info failed".
Does anyone know how to solve that problem? I don't care about the update, my fear is that if I ever encounter a software problem I wont be able to use eRecovery because for some strange reason it doesn't work.
P. S. Tried on 3 wifi networks, result always the same.
Anyone got any ideas?

There are many methods to upgrade. Maybe is not available yet for your phone ( could be in several days) but you can try:

Sometimes I have the same error. Sometimes the error is not present. You can try also to change the country on the MyHuawei App. and search for update. You can try Germany, Hong Kong, etc.
Regarding just to the erecovery, dont worry.
I have exactly the same issue i live in Greece with 12.0.0.290 (C432) .erecovery reports "get package info failed". HiSuite tells me i am on latest MyHuawei the same .I hope we will get it at some point. I am amazed it takes more than 25days to push an update. i changed country language vpn DNS all the same
