Guys can someone please help me out. I'm new to using Roms but I managed to get Pixel Experience 12 working on my 8t.
Only problem was the audio had issues where it was really loud even when low on the volume rocker. It also sounded very trebley.
Anyone know how to fix this? It seems like the sound EQ is all wrong.
Do you have to install drivers or something for the phone? Sorry for the noob questions but it's driving me crazy. Everything else works perfectly apart from the audio.

I think you should ask this question in the Pixel Experience thread here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-12l-12-1-oneplus8t-pixelexperience-aosp.4423089/unread or whereever you got that ROM.

Hi ppl,
After rooting and putting a new rom on the htc desire hd, I got into a problem, that sterted accuring right after the first time I tried rooting the device.
I have a problem with the volume balance - you can hear it by using earphones (one side works and on the other you hear only whit noise), and you can hear it with the speaker (the volume is like "half" hight, even when putting it to max).
Does anyone knows about this problem? I am currently on android 2.2, using modaco build r1 rom, but on leedroid I got the same thing, and even after RRU the device I got the same thing.
I'm starting to suspect the problem is a result of sound balance, although it sounds funny. And if it does, can anyone find or recommend an app that control the sound balance? (L,R balance).
Thanks,
Guy.
Anyone? Please
My phone seems to be shy. The volume on notifications and rings is so quiet as to not disturb an ants slumber.
I have cranked the sliders that (supposedly control) this setting within the sound menu all the way to the top. At that level the sound is about 1/4 of what it used to be.
Does anyone have any idea what I may have done? I am using infused 1.5.3 with the default kernel and modem. Perhaps the speaker has gone to pot...but I wonder if there is some software solutions I might try.
Thanks for your consideration.
Hmm... Could be that your speaker decided to randomly go out... Never had that happened before, so I don't know what to say. :/

You could try flashing to stock and see if the problem persists. If it does, your speaker may have blown or something. Haven't seen anyone else report an issue like this.

The problem seems to stem from something in the VooDoo controls. If I chug the analog gain thingy all the way up...it works as expected.
IDK why. I know VooDoo is only supposed to affect headphone usage. Three trials can't be wrong though. (or maybe they can...either way its persistent)
Hello guys,
Just recently, my speaker option stopped working and I am not sure how it happened. I've been on barebones for a couple months now and I was curious if it was just the rom, so I flashed cm9 and slimics, but still no luck. Any suggestions how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

When you say speaker option, do you mean putting it on speaker during a phone call? Do you hear sound out of your external speaker when you play music or do anything else besides phone calls?
I would suggest going back completely to stock using the GB one-click: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1358498. Or, maybe even giving the gremlin remover a try: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1500427&highlight=gremlin
If you don't get sound going on a completely stock ROM, you probably have a hardware issue. Has the phone been dropped or has anything been spilled on it?
Yes, your right, the speaker option won't work during a phone call. When it is at max volume its just a scratchy sound from the person when they talk. I think your suggestion may be the best way to go as far as trying to get my speaker to work again. Thanks.
Ok so ive had cm10 for awhile now and im currently on the latest nightly.
My phone seems to repeat a strange noise which i think has something to do with the gyroscope.
Has anyone else had this problem.
ive had it for the last few nighties and i have no idea how to fix it.
What is the sound, is it like from a reccord noise or something similar

Hey guys, I recently bought a Blaze 4G but the loud speaker wasn't working. I took it to a company that put a brand new one in it and it still isn't working, everything else works flawlessly including the in-call speaker. Any ideas on what I can do? It's running stock at the moment.
Thanks guys!

Unfortunately there probably isnt much we can do to help since it seems like a hardware issue. Have you tried wiping data/cache/reflashing rom? Did the people that replaced the speaker say it worked?
sounds like hardware issues... are you sure the speaker they put in was new?? if it was, they should stand by their work and check it to verify that it is not defective..
