Question Which rom corresponds to a variant A127M - Samsung Galaxy A12

Dears devs and members of XDA forum. I have an A127M variant, I would like to know which custom rom of those that are in development here to date could be functional on my device. Although I have seen that there is for 125M/F/DS but I do not know which of all would be compatible due to the type of hardware that my phone has. Thanks in advance and greetings from Argentina

Canadian S6 (920W) - What ROMS can be flashed?

Hi All,
Just wondering if there are any custom ROMS here on XDA that can be flashed to the 920W (Canadian) version of the S6?
It's been a while since I've had a "regional" type device (Going all the way back to my S3) as usually I opt for the International version of devices.
That being said, I don't recall how careful I have to be when flashing a ROM that may have been made for a different regional version device.
Also... What is the best way to root the S6? I've heard lots about PING-PONG and how it won't trip KNOX but any advice is appreciated!
Thanks in advance from a Senior Member who feels like a NOOB all over again... lol...
Thanks,
PS... If I've posted in the wrong place please accept my apology... ☺
You're a senior member with almost two thousand posts and you still managed to ask your question in the wrong section...
T-Mobile ROMs can be flashed without the need for the audio fix, the same applies to AT&T ROMs.
Thanks to a few developers in the TMO section, you can now flash International ROMs along with a specific few kernels, or any kernel of your choice and a flashable patch for the call audio fix.
Lol... Ya I know but to be fair I did post in the Q&A section with no answers at all so I thought I'd try here... ? Thanks for the info...
Questions belong in Q&A.
Thank you.
So If I understand right, I can flash any at&t or t-mobiles roms for my g920w model?

Custom ROM absence

In my understanding (correct me if I am wrong) sgs7 us version with SD820 have locked bootloader and anything custom is really hard to do. People need to hack phone to do anything. With International Exynos version on other hand it's not as bad. We had custom recovery on first day and I do see ROM out there but it's slimmed down version of stock.
So it is possible to install custom Roms, but why there is none available. For years I've been using cm and I would very much to start using it again.
Thank you.

First of all, there are a few roms already available for the exynos variant, but they are all TW based. The reason why there are no other roms, is that the Qualcomm s7's bootloader is locked and it will stay that until samsung decides to unlock it. As for the exynos variant, the source code is not open which makes it very difficult for developers to build a rom. So before buying this phone, you should have done more research, because even if developers are able to build a cool rom like Cyanogenmod, then there is a very little change you will be able to use it as your daily driver. So this means that samsung is not developer friendly and it won't change until samsung decides otherwise.
This is the Development forum, not your own personal Q&A. Put threads in correct sections. Reported.
Lol it is q&a section buddy.
Thank you for your answer. I've gotten new Exynos Variant from work and I was thinking putting some custom ROM on it. Thank you for explaining this to me.
Cheers

Rooting and upgrading software questions - Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300T

I hope this is the correct section to post this. I have a sgs3 GT-I9300T that is/was carrier locked through Vodafone. I say is/was because I can currently use an Optus simcard without problems. This specific model does not support any upgrade past 4.3 jellybean (which is bs lol)
So here I am, a complete phone noob, wondering how to root this specific model and upgrade to at least the 4.4.4 KitKat port ive seen posted. Is there any guides or how tos on the subject? Is there a difference between both GT-I9300 and the T variation in terms of rooting/flashing custom roms etc?
I have a dream to become Pokémon master but my phone is not allowing me to become one. Please help me
can anyone help?

Confusion Over custom ROM Device support

Hi,
Um, I want to get the GS7 but unlocked with the S820 and not the Exynos stuff. So my question is that the roms on the development thread are made for which version of the phone ? Or that doesn't matter.?
I am currently using a OnePlus One which is rooted and running EXODUS 6.0. I will be rooting my GS7 also. I'm mainly looking for these ROMs
forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/6-0-1-s7-extreme-debloated-rom-v1-t3423280
forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/rom-galaxy-project-t3440314
They have said that the supported variants are - G930F, G930FD, G930W8, G935F, G935FD, G935W8 which i believe are all non-qcom products.
I cannot post to their respective threads since have enough posts.
Hope i dont face any criticism over such a noob post.

There is no dedicated forum for the qualcomm varients , well there is but not being used ,there is for an eyanox processor but as since our bootloader are locked they have not been able to do any development and since all we have is root and exposed for the maybe long very long moment the threads for varients is being put in guides not android development

You peeps do have a forum
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/sprint-galaxy-s7-link
pretty sure mods would move any Snapdragon leaks to the correct forum , leaving them in Exynos forum can cause bricks etc.

We have a dedicated forum for our carriers but yet everything is being put in the guides thread which is mixed of all the carriers since basically all the s7 qualcomm devices run the same thing
