System Update with hidden Root

Hello guys, first Sry for my bad English...
I have an wired idea but I don't know it's Funktion or not because of that I quest you guys and hope that anybody have experience with these.
How anybody who use magisk know, you can hide your root to apps and system too, when I hide the root to system update then he only want to download an ~300 MB update (actually installed version: 1.5.6 because the problem in 1.5.7/8 (original os and no twrp installed)). Also it is possible to update my system at these way and I have root after the update or what can happen?

To keep root with an update, you need to flash the full update in TWRP, reflash TWRP, reboot recovery then reflash root. Otherwise, you will need to do the steps all over again every time you update to get root back.

Thanx
Thanks for the fast answer
Also what I have to do now is:
1. Download the actual OS
2. Change recovery with twrp
Reboot recover
3. Flash OS with twrp (first full clean?)
4. Flash twrp
5. Reboot to recovery and flash magisk
Did I lose at these way my data? Or did I do here an dirty flash? When yes what data recovery tool do you recommend? Titanium?
And after these, I can update my device per OTA updates and I don't lose my root?

You can install TWRP or you can just install the OTA and then just follow steps to root again the same you did before.

[Q] How to update Open Kirin LOS GSI

I am running LOS Beta 4 from openkirin. They've released Beta 5. How do I update to it. I assume I'm using the fastboot command like I did to install Beta 4. Do I need to do the factory reset? Is there a way to update without losing all my data?
No wipe or reset is needed when you update. Just flash the new version via fastboot. If you switch to another rom like Omnirom you need a factory reset and stock ramdisk (if you have installed Magisk).
What if i have installed magisk with twrp? Can i update ROM ir do i have yo flash stock ramdisk first?

Pie 9 for HTC U11 is out but can't install it - Root -

but I can't install it because my phone is rooted with Magisk and when I install the update TWRP takes over and won't install the Android 9 update. It does something automatically for some time but when it reboots I still have Android 8.
Can I find the Installation file in .zip format and install it manually through TWRP ?
Are there any other ideas ? I tried this Magisk Uninstall - Restore Images and downloaded the Android 9 though the system update without rebooting but when I went back to the Magisk Manager I could not find the install button to continue with the process. I have the latest Magisk and latest TWRP.

Update from OOS 5.1.4 to 9.0.7 with unlocked bootloader + magisk... is it safe?

Hello! I have my OP6 with OOS but I unlocked the bootloader, installed Magisk and now I would like to update via OTA to the OOS 9.0.7 but I need to know if there can be some problemsor consequences like brick or I will lose something. The phone already said that after updating I will lose root :crying:
Can somebody tell me how can I update to Pie safely?
If I need to do a nandroid backupora backupof media I can do it without prob with TWRP and storing all my data in the cloud.
Thanks a lot!
Make a full backup
1-Download the full rom 9.0.7
2-boot to twrp
3-flash the rom (dont wipe anything )and dont reboot because you need to flash twrp just after the rom
4-reflash twrp while you are still in recovery (or you can flash twrp just after the rom by adding it in the queue)
5-reboot to recovery (dont boot to system yet)
6-flash magisk
7reboot to system
