Question MI Unlock tool - Checking for security issues, Stuck. - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Trying to unlock the Bootloader on my X3 pro. Followed everything step-by-step, but when I open the MI Unlock tool (6.5.224.4) and then try to sign in to my MI account I get asked to verify my account using a SMS text verifications code.
I get sent to the Account Authentication page which you can input the verification code but after a second a 'Checking for security issues..." prompt appears. I never receive the SMS verification code, and the "Checking for security issues..." prompt never goes away.
I am running windows, I did run the app using admin settings, and the device is being properly recognized by the Device Manager. I am not running any sort of VPN. I also tried MI Unlock tool 5.x.
I'm completely stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

Found this thread on google. Got the same issue trying to unlock my mi 9t pro.

I'm going to assume it's an issue on the server side? Been trying to find anyone with the same issue, but so far no luck.

Seems so. Tried on another computer and same thing. Hopefully they fix it soon...

Same issue here

I had to add my phone number by logging into their website and then restarting the tool. it works now without getting stuck (got to the "please wait a stupid amount of time" screen so I assume it works).

Hi, I have the same problem too. I have added a phone number to my Xiaomi account.
Edit: Has anyone managed to get it?

I have the same problem. No text being sent, infinite 'checking for security issues'

I had the same problem, but logging with qr code worked

Ah. Of course, it's the qr code thing right in front of me. Lol thanks.

do not use wifi, it worked for me with mobile data!

OP here, can confirm it worked with the qr code sign in.

Same problem for the 4th day in a row... CCCP xiaomi starts to piss me off... I only have 2 smartphones and I want to root the Xiaomi one and the other phone isn't Xiaomi so I can't use the QR login?

Talked to support and they say its not on their end.

Still won't work. Even when creating a new account. Support replied me that they don't care about supporting Mi Unlock, since unlocking the bootloader is "dangerous"... Srsly never again a Xiaomi device.

you cant expect that xiaomi gives support for a software that is not theirs and that they dont want to be used......

Something moved, now the unlocking process gives me Unknown Error: 1004". Tried diff USB ports, cables, Mi Unlock verions.
What is the OFFICIAL tool to unlock Xiaomi if not Mi Unlock?

Sorry, i was wrong, got mixed up with a different tool..

Go to Settings, Display, and change the font size to Normal. Or go to Settings, Accessibility, and uncheck Extra Large Font. Then try again. There should be another box at the bottom of the second page to check and then an unlock button.
Thank you very much for your help. I hit the Unlock button and this happens:
"An unknown error occurs, which may be a network connection issue. please wait and try again later"
I search the forum, it seems to me that some people have the same problem and until now, there is no resolution?
Maybe, you have to register your device in asus website
And wait few day

Yeah, this problem seems to exist with all Asus tabs. The two resolutions I've seen are to register your tablet and wait a few days (could take hours, could take days) or to send it in for RMA to correct the MAC address. At this point, only registering is a confirmed way to fix this, but it does not work for everyone. If the MAC address is indeed incorrect, Asus says only an RMA will resolve this. But I've haven't heard of anyone getting a unit back from this process and suddenly being able to unlock. Is your tab new?

As long as you don't select the option to allow Google to unlock your phone with your voice, this isn't an issue, nor is it's LG's problem.

Thanks for that. Maybe LG should hire you as calling them they said there was no fix and I don't remember ever turning that option on.... Going to have to test if someone elses voice can unlock it.

Exactly. This is a google issue.
This thread is so misleading, and so is the video. This can be done on all phones with the Google app on it. The setting has been there for a while. OP should at least make an edit to topic/post and/or switch the video into a PSA of sorts. Advice people on how the setting works and to give best practices like training their voice.

no doubt, trust zones keep my phone unlocked when at my home. keeps it unlock when it detects it is still on my person and hasn't changed hands, and many other trusted things you can set. turn these off and I bet he has a harder time unlocking
lol a joke.. without trusted voice my phone tells me it cannot be completed while device is locked..
ppl just never learn lol not a bypass at all
So if there's any confusion, it only works with what Google detects as your voice. I tested with multiple family members, and only one got it.
But he's my identical twin and our voices are almost the same.
Can someone else try having their SO or a buddy try to get in? Pretty sure they won't.

LG Developer website account creation loop!

I created a developer account using the LG developer website in order to get the boot unlocker for my phone. However, upon login I am prompted to enter a nickname before I can proceed. Upon doing so and attempting to check the availability of the nickname, I am immediately kicked back to the login page. No login means no boot loader means no rooting for me. It's driving me crazy! Anyone know how to deal with this?
The website in question:
https://developer.lge.com/main/Intro.dev
A bit further information that may be of help: I cleared my cache/browsing data, and tried 4 different web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Exploder, and Opera.), all of which behaved the same way. No adblock or VPN was being used. I'm running Windows 7 X64.
i have similar issue i can't set up on Lg Developer new account. have you fixed yet ?

Same!
Checking in going on near two years later (Jan 2020), and experiencing the same sort of issues. I sign up, get to "account creation complete" page, but with no login links. When I try to log in by shortening the url to its base, I get autoforwarded to a page "under construction" error, in Chinese and English.
Almost seems like LG walked away from the developer community mid-upgrade?

You all need to be contacting LG about this, no one at XDA can help with this because there is nothing that can be done from the users side of the issue, it can only be answered/solved on LG's side of the issue.

Huawei official webpage for unlocking code resumes now. But only 60 days......

Hi,
It's a good news to those consumers of Huawei who have been seeking unlocking codes for bootloader of their Huawei mobile phones for a long time.:laugh::laugh:
https://emui.huawei.com/plugin/unlock/index
The official webpage now becomes available at last. You are required to log in the web browser with your Huawei ID at first.

But, but a bad news is that the official webpage for unlocking code will be closed permanently after 60 days.
Huawei announced that it will not support unlocking for its mobile phones. :crying:
Grab'em while their hot folks!
No USA listing
LOL, wouldn't do me any good, they don't have a USA location listing.
No biggie...after I got the Mate2, then 8 & now the 9, I've never considered unlocking, rooting, or flashing anything
other than stock. I don't care for the EMUI interface, so I just use Nova Launcher. Other than that, 100% stock.

They don't, but you can use a different location to create the account. (At least, you used to be able to. The account doesn't need sms verification to get an unlock code.)
That, and no harm in taking the unlock code, even if you never use it.
Huawei has been the worst I've ever owned for development.
Just saying.
Dead.
When you check the option to 'Agree' in 'Unlocking Agreement' window and then tap 'Next' button, a notification window will pop up. There it is said that official unlocking support will stop 60 days later.

If I can't unlock my phone, I'm not likely to buy it. So it may be my last Huawei.
I am getting the following error "SN and IMEI are mismatched". I know I am typing it correctly. Has anyone else had this issue?

Question how to bye pass organisation know security

Got this brand new A 32 5g phone. when i try to set it up it says that my organisation can control my device with knox cloud security, it does allow only limited apps via the google play store.
Is there any way to disable this and use your own Samsung account to sign and to restore this from an old backup.
many thanks
PS Just reading about Samsung Frp2020 , will this app help me to bypass
After seeing a youtube video, i have tried the Samsung Frp and use addrom, it allows me to restore from an old back up.
but when i go back it again takes me to the Knox page and asks me to enter my work email address and use ADFS seetings.
can some one help me please.
this is a new phone with no passwords setup currently.
I have done this 3 times and when i dont enter any details in the Knox and keep pressing the back up it gives the option to reset the phone and when i reset the phone i am back at square one.
i have just seen that it has intune security embedded into the phone. it activates when i am setting up the phone from scratch and wants me to add wifi to complete the setup

Microsoft Intune to Bypass MFA

then it takes to the device setup methods which states EMM provider (enterprise mobility management (EMM) provider).
here are some pics for you to have a look.
after taking you the organisation sign in page if you dont put the correct credentials and put any other account detials it doesnot accept this and i have the option to restore the device which sets it back to factory reset.
Hey.
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I have pretty much exactly the same problem with a Samsung Tab S6 Lite and have yet to find a solution that works. Used Odin to flash new firmware and made no difference at all. The Microsoft sign in requirement via Knox Cloud Enrolment is still very much there.
All the articles and software I've found online seem only to relate to bypassing FRP (factory reset prevention) for a Google account.
