Edit :
I managed to have a Deep Flash cable and successfully bring the device to EDL anytime I need. Thanks for the help, guys!
-----------------------------------------
My OnePlus 8T seems hard-bricked, it can not boot anymore, when plugin ( had to disconnected the battery connector ) it's screen only flash the Logo and vibrate then auto reboot and keep looping. So I need the test point map of this device in order to force flash the firmware, hence, if anyone have it's test point map, please help to share. Or any other solutions may work with the situation.
Thanks in advance!
I had something similar happen: see https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/how-to-get-out-of-endless-oos-boot-animation-solved.4366923/
So I'd suggest that you let the battery drain which will turn the phone off. Then charge it for a bit and connect it took the MSM Tool to restore your phone.

Thanks for your info. I've tried draining the battery but seems by bootloader ( somehow ) relocked without my act knowledge, therefore, everytime I try to boot in to fastboot mode, it only show the Fastboot logo for a second then reboot again, then..........keep looping @@
Can u pls check out the video and see if your device used to be like this or not? Thanks mate!

It looks similar to what happened to me. I think I got a bit of the red and white circle before it restarted.
Don't try to go into bootloader. From power off, go straight to MSM.

I experienced your issue with my hiccup a week ago, required the use of MSM tool (full reinstall of OOS)...i kept getting an error on install as it would reboot back to recovery and never finish the process. What corrected it was that I had to change "slot" and upon reboot MSM tool worked.
I use TWRP which was flashed on both a & b
Just a quick FYI

thank you so much for your help.somehow i got it back up and running
Had the same happen to me. It didn't want to go into recovery gave a message it failed. With some patience I manged to get the button combo to work for fastboot then did a flash-all of the factory image. I think the trick was it had to be plugged in to get to download mode and I think you may hit the power button slightly before the volume down. It was a bit tedious. I tried to recover the boot.img and that trashed things up worse, got no google loading logo or something odd. Anyhow flashing the full factory image fixed things!
Glad you got it resolved, maybe this helps someone else in the same spot.
Hello guys,
I apologize if this has been solved before but I wasn't able to find anything on it.
I have a oneplus one phone which I had running Ressurection Rom (I don't have the details as my father was using it for the last 2 years).
He dropped the phone and gave it to a shop for repairing of the screen. They repaired the screen but now they have somehow messed with the software where I am UNABLE TO BOOT TO FASTBOOT OR TRWP. The function of holding POWER + VOLUME DOWN or POWER + VOLUME UP doesn't work. When I attempt those two options, it still continues to boot as it normally would and then start optimizing apps. Does that for about 45 minutes and then just restarts and repeats the process.
I haven't messed around with android stuff for about a year now, so simplified instructions (rather step by step) would be extremely helpful.
Thank you so much for taking the time.

Hello, Thank you for your response.
I have tried the instructions that you provided and I am stuck in a place where the "Samsung" drivers for OPO are installed but the phone isn't detected by the computer when its plugged in. I assume that means the drivers aren't installed correctly. However, when I do open device manager and attempt to update or uninstall the drivers there isn't a device there that is representative of OPO.
How do I get to the point where the drivers can be installed without me having access to the phone. I can't really go into a bricked phone and turn on ADB etc.'
Thank you

Okay so I have attempted this a tiring number of times; initially the phone at least was going on to loading apps, now it just flashes on the Resurrection load screen and doesn't change at all. Also when I try to boot into recovery/fastboot, nothing happens.
I have also tried installing different drivers from like a samsung phone, nexus but to no avail.
Is there anyone who can perhaps TEAMVIEW me and help out or live chat?

I don't think so. If it is a battery issue he could go to fastboot since fastboot only uses a small amount of charge.

Try turning on your phone while connected to a charger.

Most probably your volume buttons were messed up during the repair. That's the only reason I can think of. There are some videos on YouTube about fixing the volume buttons.
After getting update I was trying to flash TWRP and was having troubles. The first one was something to do with the partitions. After following a guide to change the slot I then went and flashed TWRP and now I'm stuck in a boot loop with the one plus animation going round slowly.
I'm currently looking in to the msm tool but I'm in a panic as I cant get into fastboot mode. Does anyone have any advice. Have I lost everything. Did I brick it.
Thank you
try to press volume up + volume down + power button
Just use the MSM tool, youre using the EDL mode there. Its going to be alright, I had it bricked like that the first day i bought the phone.

Thanks. I did use it. But I had problems connecting to it. Turns it was the drivers needing updating. But still it was a bit of a panic. Thought I had completely ruined it.
I'm wondering though does this tool re lock the bootloader?

Yes, it does.
Fortunately this is OP not Xiaomi, so you don't have to wait 4 years to unlock it again if you want to.

This is also what I would suggest. Hold that combo to get to bootloader. You may need to hold that for a few seconds to power down the phone, then hold them again to boot to bootloader.

You haven't been specific about that guide, or what steps you took exactly. But you shouldn't have to mess with changing slots to install TWRP. There are a couple ways to retain TWRP after an update. But again, without more details, it is impossible to tell what you have done, or to what extent you need to do exactly to get it up and running. But this phone is pretty hard to permanently brick, since we have the unbrick tool.
Hi,
You do not need to have the fastboot mode. Turn off your phone, on black screen hold vol up for 6-10 sec and plug usb cabel. After that make sure that your pc can see the phone, then run as admin the msm tool. It always worked for me for OP3T, OP5T and now for OP7Pro.
Full instraction and the msm tool is here.
Hope you will bring back to life your phone.
Thank you so much. !

Of you can get him into download mode, it can be fixed bo worries
Good news: I could fix it.
Solution: I let the battery die, then charged it. I pressed bixby+power+volume up for 10+ seconds and it turned on for a few seconds and it turned up in my pc device list. So I could use the ADB windows program to boot it into download. Then I flashed the original ROM.
And I could even put TWRP on it with the root shell.
Thanks to everyone who helped!
I have also done the same thing and now phone is not starting. Can you help me to fix it.
Hello!
I am kinda new and tried to use the tool that's posted but my phone won't power down, it just loops back to fastboot no matter what I do.
Vol up and vol down with power only restarts the loop .
The tool sent something to my phone though last night because now it won't even go into crash dump, just loops fastboot.
PC is still seeing my ADB Android device though.
I had to buy a Nord 10 so I'm not without a workout phone.
Anyone please?
Thank you!

Make sure the phone is unplugged when you're powering off. When plugged in it won't ever turn off just reboot. Try that and use the msm tool to restore your device to factory settings. If it doesn't work ping me on here and I'll try to help more
Thank you so much! I was plugged in..let me try that.

Try getting into download mode if you can.or safe mode anything that could break the cycle of reboot. Hmmm other than that you could always try contacting OnePlus over the phone and see they would remotely do anything or via fastboot commands. They have a lot more tools than we do
