Question 60hz work bad - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

After installing several roms .. 60hz works very poorly. even on games like pub, call of duty doesn't work well. I tried: to install the original miui (it also moves on the original miui), I formatted the date ... but in vain.

What do you mean it works "badly" ?

it goes like 45fps, it doesn't go smoothly

Maybe because you've gotten too used to 120hz like me

Just because it's 60Hz it doesn't mean it will hold 60 fps 100% of the time in every game, you realize that right?

Anyone have tested this? Is there any improvements from V8.2.1.0 or still prefer the old V8.1.2.0? So, here i am waiting for feedback.

I'm on it since this morning, pretty much the same I'd say, the change-log has a few things like swipe to dismiss notifications on lockscreen and a few bugfixes.

How is your experience with the temperature & battery life? Can you share some screenshots of your SOT? Did the bugs at V8.2.1.0 finally fixed in V8.2.4.0?

Bet this rom weighs more than an average car....
I was using stock 8.2.1 Global Stable. After auto-updating to 8.2.4, had sound glitches, unlock lag and Telegram bugs I've never seen before. I don't recommend to migrate to this version from 8.2.1.
I haven't had any sound glitches or unlock lag (I don't use telegram).
As for battery life it's great, 2 days use, 6 hours SOT so far and I have 50% battery left (4G on all the time).

5th day with the phone. i got it update it to 8.2.4, charged it, unlocked bootloader, installed twrp/root and i had about 10 hours sot during a 3 day period on 2g and a little 3g and wifi disable when screen is off. those 10 hours included a lot of restarts that consume energy a lot of copying things via wifi browsing messenging and a few calls. no problems so far hope i helped.
This update don't bring big changes. Don't understand why you afraid of update. All work's fine including battery life and performances.
Upd:
1. Sound issues and Telegram bugs - no more. One-time glitch?
2. Usual Xiaomi micro-lags when switching apps seem to disappear. So 8.2.4.0 feels way more smooth for me.
3. Battery life - no noticeable changes.
4. MiPicks app added along with annoying ads.
I wonder Why eu version not yet published ?
Sorry for this silly question, how can i update to 8.2.4 if I have TWRP recovery? Can I just take OTA update or do I need to flash the zip file via TWRP?

You'll have to flash via TWRP cause the OTA uses the built in Xiaomi recovery (which you dont have anymore since you installed TWRP).

xiaomi.eu is based on the china rom, not the global. they won't release until there's an official release for the CN rom.

Yeah you should wipe the cache and davlik cache at least before flashing the new rom. Full wipe would be best.
To get root you'll have to re-flash the super su zip file after you flash the rom.
Re' 8.2.4.0 global
Just did a clean full wipe and flashed epic zip again for another try, though I still have noticeable battery drain.
Thinking of going 8.2.4.(and then uninstalling a few apps n' make a few minor mods for better battery life)
I have twrp installed, read somewhere I can not get rom updates via OTA due to this. (As MIUI recovery is needed for update?) Is that true?
In which case does that mean when there is a new global rom update, and I flash zip in twrp(if that's the case) I would lose my settings and aps? (Guess I would) Or as it's newer/similar global update could I get my settings back from mi cloud or Titanium back up?
Tired of changing roms and then setting up all the apps.
Sorry if this a newbie type question.
Thanks for any info (=

The zip file is corrupt

Since Android 8.0 its lagging

Hey guys. Two days before i updated my phone manually via ODIN on a german version G930FDBT2ERG2_DBT.
So i just let Google and Samsung restore all my stuff. Then i installed TWRP and root via the no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip and magisk v16.0.
After that i installed XPosed via the XPosed Installer app. I think since i did that or maybe before, every app needs hours to start and lags.
e.g. opening of Snapchat. Like it's closing so hard in background, that all services need to restart.
Instagram and OneDrive are shown many time as stopped working and i don't know why. Maybe Instagram caused by XInsta?
Okay i recognized OneDrive isn't even working anymore. Was already on Android 7 a problem. Does not seem to be compatible to something else.
You have any ideas or need any information? Let me know
try a factory reset. Personally, I use a modified stock rom (light rom) and it is very stale and very fast.

Antutu Benchmark gives me 164336 points, so it seems literally to be normally, but i know all loading times of Snapchat and Instagram and so on are so much longer.
I will try to flash it again and to start clean. Just the copying of the WhatsApp folder needs so much time.
So I'm asking again. Nobody else got problems? I still dont get the data mount error fixed, because when I install Magisk it's broke again and my whole phone seems to lag. I dont know if it's because of my Xposed modules or Magisk modules. But for example with the update everythings goes slower even if Antutu says something else. Snapchat needs years to start. Is it cause of dual messenger? But I don't think so. Or when i'm in the car and using Google Maps and Poweramp and tapping skip on my car radio for skipping in bluetooth there is a delay of 20 seconds sometimes so wtf.
Any speedups for S7 or Android 8 on S7???

Try an other rom ( official or custom ), m'y S7 exynos is smooth and stable.
For data partition, dis you flashed Tgp kernel ?
You Can finde a custom recovery in Tgp kernel thread, it fix that issue.
You need to download flashify from play store to flash the custom recovery.

Tgp kernel gives a good battery life ans smooth UI.
If you didn't flashed a kernel, you need to wipe data partition by writing ''yes''
And you will Lost all you data, so you need to save you data on external storage, hard Drive or computer.

If on stock then resources being consumed with bloat. If issues began around installation of xposed wouldn't it make sense to uninstall modules and xposed and see if improved over the next day? Restoring apps and data and rooting and moding is a lot of stress on device all at once, then it gets so warm it starts to go glitch. I've been there too. Best thing is to let it sit 30-60 min after set up finishes to cool off. Reboot too once restored data completes.
Almost makes me miss the rip out and replace with cool fully charged battery days of my S4 [emoji91]

[MOD][ROOT] Overclock your screen to 66HZ-72hz-75hz-84HZ in MIUI Android P

Use it at your own risk! (Don't flash it on any Q ROMs)The dtbo.img is extracted from the Chinese version of miui 9.8.15,so you better use version 9.8.15 or later,.Some people use 84hz not smooth,75hz is the best option, but i used 84hz and it's perfect for me! so what are you waiting for? this zip include 66hz-72hz-75hz-84hz
-Download the attached zip, unzip it
-Open TWRP
-Backup your dtbo partition
-Select the corresponding dtboxx.img, choose the dtbo partition, the flash it
-Reboot
You should see the changes immediately after the restart. It's way smoother than before.
If you want to go back to default, restore your dtbo partition backup or flash the dtbo60

72 hz is actually working on the latest mui 12 beta.
But I noticed that there is something less beautiful in the color of the screen.
It's less colorful and more "white" I don't know how to describe.
So I don't recommend to use this mod, u will lose some quality on your screen

but twrp will freeze whatever the version you chose. better to stay in 60hz or flash 84hz if you want but keep in mind that if you want going to twrp you must go to bootloader and flash your original dtbo.img

No idea, I believe OP extracted the DTBO file from the official ROM and editted it in order to overclock the screen, something tells me it's not hard, but personally I've got no idea how to do it so props to him
Using GSIs means you're using your stock DTBO, so theorically, it should just work

Stock camera app not working

Hello,
I got a big issue on my Mi 10 Ultra, the stock camera is not wanting to work anymore.
It's black only and then refuses to launch (see screenshot attached).
I've tried third party apps but quality is not as good and I can't use all the camera modules. I've bought the 10 Ultra for it's cameras and really want to keep using it. (I do a lot of macrophotography and the 10 Ultra is amazing for this but only on the wide angle module.)
Did someone encountered the same issue ?
I've tried installing GCam but I do not managed to install apks. Theres an issue during the package analysis... (I've tried all GCam apks I could find here.)
I'm on stock EU OS with TWRP and I just activated root to try to solve the issue.
Sorry for bad english and french screenshots
EDIT: Every camera is working in the CIT hardware tests, I think it's software but I resetted the phone and nothing changed.

Just to be sure of something, I did a test. Thanks for answering all my messages but what I need and want now is info or a way to debunk the issue.
I wont flash a ROM in a language I don't understand on the phone I use every day just to test something.
I already tried resetting the phone (including dalvik cache iirc) and it did not change anything.
Plus I would need a PC and a flashing tool, this would take a lot of time...
Finally, the issue did not came with a ROM change, the actual ROM is stable.
Edit : I changed the camera module, everything works perfectly
According to my repair shop, Xiaomis are just unreliable.

Qualcomm Crashdump happening almost every day

Hi !
Some time ago, I switched to crDroid (because I don't like OOS12) and I started having some Crashdump (no error code) every day or two. If I force shutdown and restart, it works well for a time but crashes at some point.
At first I was thinking it was crDroid's fault so I went on DerpFest but the same is happening.
I've seen some posts where people's phone are bricked, which isn't my case.
Before installing the roms, I used MSMTools (MSMDownloaderTool-20210201-kebab) to reformat the phone and flash from the cleanest state possible. I have the KB2003.
Does anyone knows how I can fix it ? It happens really randomly (usually when the phone is locked, but it can happen also when using it) and I really don't want to come back to OOS...
Thanks a lot !
If this happens on all ROMs it may indicate a hardware problem e.g. with memory or smth else.
If on other Roms it works without issues. Flash stock OOS11 with another MSM (that you did before) and try installing CrDroid again.

Also, it seems to happen when I receive a notification from FB Messenger. Not on every notification but every time it happens, it seems to be this.

So I tried the international one a week ago, it was fine for a few days but then the crashdumps came back.
I'll try getting back to OOS and see if it happens again, in that case I'll send it for repairs maybe.
If it doesn't crash, I'll be real sad that I'll need to use OOS...
Update after a month: OOS doesn't crash at all so maybe I'm doing something wrong when installing custom roms (don't know what as I tried 3 roms with differents methods)
