Hi
Has anyone else traded in via https://www.samsungtradeinoffer.co.uk/promo/tvg#claim ??
The text states that a £200 'uplift' will be offered for S22 ultra, but I have only been offered £150, I wondered if anyone else had any better luck? My original phone is a Note 10+ 5G which was offered at £170, so the total with uplift should have been £370, rather than the £320 they have offered me.
Hi I traded my Note 10 + in on samsung i got £220 plus the £200 for a total of £420 trade in. i did pre order on the 10th got mine on the 21st so may have changed since release date.
Got conformation today of trade in complete so didnt even take a week to get sorted.

The offer states "between 09/02/2022 - 24/02/2022" so maybe it's changed? Having said that, there were some oddities even before that date, where people were finding that the trade-in value was much worse for certain S22 Ultra variants.

I assumed the date was the pre-order date since I did not get new phone until 23rd (pre order was the 9th). Was the 25th before I filled out the trade in form. Additionally my exact version of the note 10+5G (N976B) was not listed... Annoying prob just revert to eBay to sell it.
I have used that site previously, but this time it was all part of the Samsung store for me, when I received my S22U I had a trade-in shipping label in the box, and just posted my S21 back to them using that.

The £200 bonus was only for pre orders up to the 24th February. They are still doing a trade in's, but you've missed the extra £200 I'm afraid.
"£200 for pre-ordering a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra between 09/02/2022 - 24/02/2022"
Edit: If you're buying on the Samsung website, it still seems to be offering £330

I pre ordered in the 9th and received on the 23rd so I should be able to get that uplift as quoted. I have emailed them.
Having no joy with Samsung and they now tell me that my 'Samsung Note 10+ 5G' N976B is not included in the trade in offer anyway, and right enough there was no option to select an N976B, only a 975F. Has anyone else managed to successfully trade-in an N976B (Note 10+ 5G) ??

Your prices are really good. Wish we had them that low in Germany too...
Did pay more for faster shipment. I just order mine and it won't deliver til 30th
Ordered the wrong one by accident, wanted the 64gig one but got so scared that I will run into order issues and choose the 128 one by mistake. Oh well.

I mean... not the WORST mistake you could make I guess. lol. More storage space is always nice! Personally I wanted the NON-SHINY black version, but it wasn't worth spending an extra $50 for (not for me anyway).

Detroit MI USA- and yea, selling it later will likely return a good amount of the money you paid for it. Seems like OnePlus phones (especially after the 5) retain value a lot better.

once I get it on friday hopefully, I'll let you know
I ordered the 128gb model and also used the $20 voucher for accessories that somebody posted in xda. I got Karbon case for $10
Still debating selling my 5T for the 6. The mirror back is so nice... Decisions.
I ended up buying the 256 gig model. Worked out because I wanted the matte black anyway. Also got the prime bundle and a car charger. Coming from the 1+3t (wife will get that) I'm super excited to upgrade.

Does anyone knows how/where I can buy the Snapdragon version N9860 or N986N in the UK now?
I used to buy all my previous Notes from eGlobal but they have now stopped doing business in the UK due to brexit.
I’ve found a few on eBay but they are all shipping from HK to EU warehouses then to UK so i’d assume there will be a huge custom/duty charge bill as UK is no longer in EU duty free area.
any tips?

Wondamobile is very popular as you can see on trust pilot. It's not UK based but delivery is normally within 7 days for an extra £7 or so and all custom and duty charges are covered. Also the supply 1 year warrany with them. I've literally just got mine 20 Ultra from there.

Thanks,as long as duty charges are covered like eGlobal used to do.
Do you think £850 is a good price for 256GB version at this point? I’ve seen them around £800 recently but there was nothing about duty charges.

I think it's a good price based on knowing you wont get stung with any other charges at customs and with a 1 year warranty peace of mind. Most reviews of people on UK buying don't seem to mention anything about customs, other countries in Europe have said they had to pay customs but wonda mobile refunded them within days.

Mine was supplied by T-dimension.com for £853 inclusive last year. They are still listing the phones, but I have not checked post Brexit changes, if any. My parcel was shipped to me from within the UK, so no fear of customs charges or problems.
They do have some quite stringent security checks, which might seem like a ball ache, but I was aware in advance and just followed the instructions. Nine days total from order to delivery.

That’s a great price even with import fees.
Was the import/custom fee generated by ebay?
I think yes. Because for phone showed price 594 with shipping and on checkout was 620. Yes it was really good price for new Note 20 Ultra.
Hello,
I have had my Note 10+ for almost 2 years and thinking of an upgrade. I am a Note fan. But since the introduction of the S pen to the S 21 Ultra, I got a little bit lost between the Note 20 Ultra and the S 21 Ultra. I hope someone helps me with my decision since you owned the Note 20 U for a while and you are familiar with its negatives and positives.
P.s. I live in Europe. So I am limited to the Exynos variants only
Avoid the Note 20 Ultra Exynos version at all cost. It heats up easily and battery life is very poor on 120Hz. Get the S21 Ultra as it has a better Exynos chipset and newer display tech plus better fingerprint sensor.
Yes, the N20U Exynos is a disaster. The Snapdragon is very very good if you can get one.

I got the Hong Kong N9860 from Wonda Mobile and no hassle. Price includes shipping, duty etc. and it arrived in a week. It's also a good price for brand new.

how's the battery life on your note? SOT?
It uses around 30% a day. SOT is probably 6 to 7 hours but I've never ever got close to emptying it.

this 6 or 7 SOT are with the 120 Hz right?
No, I use 60hz. Can't even notice a difference.
My N20U does get a little warm but so does my N10+, battery life is very different, N10+ gets 11h SoT, N20U about 6h.
I bought Galaxy Tab S7 FE from a third-party seller on Amazon. A week after using it, it got remotely locked. I contacted Samsung and it turns out that the original seller did not complete their trade-in deal and so my device is considered stolen goods. They also wouldn't allow me to pay for the rest of the device to get it unlocked. I managed to get a full refund from Amazon, however, I'm left with a bricked device. Any help?

Do I now own a very pretty paperweight?
I just ordered one and will be completing the trade in but have read horror stories about this issue. Apparently they'll do this if your trade in isn't eligible also. Absolutely insane. Will be watching this thread for updates.

Can you post a picture of your Android Recovery mode please?
So I've pre ordered my S22U ( amazing btw) and now I've received my $250 promotional credit as I didn't use it for accessories i didn't need. Figured I'd put it towards one of the Samsung TV's to replace my older one. No dice. During check out it says this promo can't be used for the items in the cart. Can the credit only be used for accessories?
I believe so. It sucks and the worst part is they limit the choices even within the accessories section.
Darn, it would not work for a sound bar either. I do not need that lousy keyboard they offer for the S8+
Well that sucks! So do their accessories though.
Man, those are some deceitful tactics. I'd wait until after the pre order window had i known as they've increased the trade in value by $150 while removing what's turning out to be a useless Samsung store credit after that window. What am I supposed to do with this useless credit now? Ffs

I think I have good news about it for you: try search for the desired item in a search box(google for example) and from the different sellers sites pick Samsung and open their page to view that item, sign in to your account and proceed to the cart with that item, the cart will show your available points plus you can apply your promo code in the box and buy that item(s) at final, discounted price.
It has worked for me last night when I tried to spend my $50(reservation$$) plus I had $8 reward points but on the Samsung product pages they had only a meaningless remnants-crap items I wasn't interested in buying. I didn't care that the 15W wireless charger + 25W brick and cable was "out of stock" I got the items with April 7th delivery date - but of course, today Samsung already sent me a 'corrected' date: April 14th. That's ok, at least I've got what I want and need - not what they want me to spend my $$ on.
I hope it will work for you on TV.

Damn, I wish I didn't use the promo for the bunch of accessories I didn't really need. I guess the wireless car charger will be OK along with the smart tag plus. But I have no idea what I'll do with the buds pro. Already have a bunch of better sounding BT headphones. Spoke with their customer service and they told me the code is only for the watches keyboards and phone accessories. Even a Samsung external SSD wasn't able to be discounted. Hope this works for others should they see it before they pull the trigger.
That charger I bought was nowhere to find in their promo offers, but I figured out that it has to be advertised elsewhere, they are in the sales business after all, Samsung webpages is a mess so I'm glad I'm done w/ them now for at least one year if they put something interesting on the market next "flagship" season of 2023 ) The time spent on "chatting" w/their cs always makes me contemplating about quitting Samsung forever yet, I come back again.
Unless the Galaxy Watch 4 with LTE is considered an accessory, I had no problem spending my $250 credit, my $13 bonus points as well as $37 extra dollars to pay for the watch.
