installed and working realy great, only problem i found was bluetooth and wifi keep losing connection, so my bluetooth headset isn't working with this rom. but overal great performance, and no other flaws found at the moment

Hope you'd like the ROM, I love pixel experience myself and so far the experience has been solid. I'm not sure of it becoming an official rom anytime soon tho as I'm burdened with work and it would be harder to maintain atm, but in the coming future, maybe

Try enabling "disable A2DP Hardware Offload" in developer settings and restart your phone, it should fix the Bluetooth audio issue. I'll also be releasing a new build soon to make sure no one else faces this issue.

errors and bugs found:delay charging/mt rarely android hangs out of nowhere have to hold button on to renicar/performance below normal/battery consumption and high ram memory

I find a way to install root with magisk. Works well for me, a little bugs here and there, nothing that ruin my experience with this rom.

Yeah. The navigation bar has a bug, that sometimes when you watch videos in full screen with a browser it gets stuck in portrait mode, it doesn't disappear from the screen, I just fix it by turning on auto rotate, and spinning it, and it's gone. Another is that I use Greenify with root, but Greenify crashes the system, gets stuck and reboots. Also the time is a bit close to the front camera. Will you add the moto gestures?

Thank you very much for this Rom. On most other Roms Footej Camera works for making Video's. Furthermore I saw that you made an update which may already fix (automatic brightness)

I didn't try any ROMs on Moto G so you have to judge it by yourself

Footej Camera is crap in my opinion, especially when you can only do 5-minute video clips. Here is the latest available Google Camera for ARM32 SoCs, which works on AOSPExtended 8.1 and LineageOS 15.1 (Peregrine) for video and still photography.

Well, here for me the battery is having a higher consumption, I had problem with Bluetooth, the screen brightness does not work and neither does the screen lock as well.
Another thing is that I translated for brazilian portugese, however some things are still in english ....

amigo está rom está muito fluida, só é necessario ser trabalhado a questão de Bateria , pois está Puxando dmais :good: , e tanbem percebi um Lag "travada" as veses , mas só isso msm , o resto está otimo....

First, thanks @Akshaykakatkar for taking this development!
Dirty installed CAF (from March CAF)
- Pixel Configuration Assistant popup on boot so I had to setup mobile network, SMS, call management, FP and text size again
- Google Assistant broken (force close), from voice command or icon shortcut from Launcher
- Gcam not working [EDIT: You're right @yogatama about Api2 and now the app opens but video recording not working]
- Sound not working either
- Need to setup FP at every reboot
[EDIT: Will try clean install better]
Clean installed CAF (wiped data, cache and dalvik before):
- Not only Google Assistant crashes but Google App too [EDIT: Google app looked weird because I'm in beta channel. Google stable it's fine, though Assistant]
- System sound still not working, though calls apparently have normal sound
[EDIT: Tried with V4A and HEX kernel in case driver works but still the same problem with sound]
Returning to latest non-CAF PE working version [20190518], hope these bugs can be solved to test it again, the ROM looks great, many new features and so.
Latest non-CAF version (20190518) works great so far. Not having the same problems as CAF version.

Gcam is working. maybe you dont turn on cam api2 on xiaomi part in setting
Dirty flash broke system sound
Ringtone and alarms and notification sound
And lose night mode i think must clean installation
Youtube can't play video and can't play any videos from gallery too.

System sound not working even after clean install. Night mode (if you mean about that Display feature) is now called LiveDisplay.

Second Q Rom to be released for the s2 after arrow OS! This rom is much more stable than Arrow Os Q Rom . I'd say Android Q is actually giving a better battery life than Pie but a lot of apps are still broken as they don't support Android Q properly yet. Anyways, great job @nullbytepl . Keep up the good work!
I'd really love if someone could port Evolution X, Havoc, Revenge Os and lineage Q ROMs too!

Yes Lockscreen is broken and i can't unlock IT. I don't use Lockscreen.
Next is magisk Module Gesture. When i flash it and reboot, the Launcher or Something is broken.
But everything is fine, the battery is great.

I have cleared the davlik cache, contact and phone app cache and user data too.

Lockscreen works fine for me..
Call over bluetooth is broken, cannot hear sound on bluetooth headphone or speakers. Mic seems to be working.
Whatsapp voice calls comes over phone speaker even though it shows bluetooth connection. So sound doesnt go to bluetooth headphones over whatsapp too.
Music over bluetooth works. This looks like to be a common problem with many devices using Android 10. @nullbytepl can you look into the issue.
Let me know if you need specific logs.
Rest it's been stable from last 24hrs.

You can use gesture enabler magisk module for that for now. Its linked in the post

ok so i installed (not clear flash - update from pixel experience PIE)
so far so good. i was not able to boot into recovery but managed to flash recovery again
- when im in magisk manager sometimes my phone reboots and not load correctly - have to reboot it manually
- im using adaway to block ads - but had to do it manually as it was not able to get system directory writeable
what is my problem:
i was using fingerprints to unlock my device, but after second boot, screen lock was restarting. so i deleted files from
/data/system/gesture.key
/data/system/cm_gesture.key
/data/system/password.key
/data/system/personalbackuppin.key
/data/system/personalpattern.key
/data/system/locksettings.db
/data/system/locksettings.db-shm/data/system/locksettings.db-wal
but still see 2 fingerprints and can not change lock screen seetings as it is asking for pin, which is not working.
please dont tell me to clear flash. thanks
Well, that's because you dirty flashed the ROM. I had the same issue when moving between 2 different Pie ROMs and you moved from Pie to 10.

There is slight difference between huge companies with hundreds of people who write code for life and a small team of enthusiasts who develop in their free time. Custom ROMs don't have proper migration tools. The person above is right, you really shouldn't move between custom roms without clean flashing. Clean flash or stop complaining about stuff being broken.

The rom runs very smoothly/stable and has many good extra options. Thank you !
2 things:
- The mic or the speaker have sometime problems. It rustles sometimes and sometimes the speak seems to be ticked off when making a call.
- zhe internal camera app lags behind the flash (it shoots too late and the photo is then taken dark without the flashlight). I helped myself here with NikitaG-Cam (NGCam_8.2.300-v1.7); the flash reacts better.

Hello! Can somebody suggest please? I couldn't find working TWRP for this PixelExperience 12.1 ROM.
I tried TWRP 3.6.0 from Immanuel Raj, tried 3.7.0 official. It doesn't seem to work with encrypted data partition as well as couldn't be installed as permanent TWRP recovery (opening recovery cause bootloop after installation).
Is there any working TWRP recovery with this great ROM?

dear Immanuel,
you're doing an awesome job keeping the device alive. i want to keep using this awesome device for a few more years, and your projects make that very much possible. I have been using this rom for almost 2 months. before that i used pixel experience (A12) for 2 months. these roms are fantastic, very much daily driver.
but there is one issue im facing which is pretty severe. whenever i enable mobile data/wifi, the device pretty much freezes for 4-5 minutes. becomes totally unresponsive. then the notifications keep dinging, during that time the phone lags so much it becomes almost unusable.
this wasn't a problem when i was using android 11 custom rom. can you suggest some tips on how to remedy this?

DONT USE TWRP. USE PIXEL EXPERIENCE RECOVERY

Maybee enable dnd when enabeling mobile data...then after few secs disable dnd and use

How to root
during phone calling, ear speaker sound is rustly and irritating (unbearable tbh)
please fix this as this issue was also in pixelexp 12.1/12 rom

Thank you for your work. It seems many of us LOS-faithfuls will have to switch to your ROM for our device after it lost official LOS.
Can't wait to jump from Android 11 (LOS18.1) to Android 13 (Pixel Experience). Which kernel version will your PE-for-A2 ROM have, by the way?
