Great initiative! I have been looking for a Android Go version for falcon. I am trying it out now. Will report back.

Brightness control does not work, messages can not be answered from the notification bar, but it works smooth. Good work. thanks

Add video recording with standard camera (does not work).

Should power button end calls and/or toggle torch? A bit ambigious now. I'd prefer torch.

Thank you very much for this Rom. On most other Roms Footej Camera works for making Video's. Furthermore I saw that you made an update which may already fix (automatic brightness)

@dadi11 You need to revert this commit to fix all overlay problem (Brightness, Hotspot Navbar etc) https://github.com/falcon-oreo/andr...mmit/fd9022a4a11bb31ebd98be5868d88d4f9e568079

Footej Camera is crap in my opinion, especially when you can only do 5-minute video clips. Here is the latest available Google Camera for ARM32 SoCs, which works on AOSPExtended 8.1 and LineageOS 15.1 (Peregrine) for video and still photography.
aha360 said:
Your URL is broken - I assume you meant this particular version of Google Camera, before they ditched ARM32/Android 7 support entirely - https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/camera/camera-4-1-006-135988111-release/
Also, I've made a flashable ZIP that installs the same camera app on the SYSTEM PARTITION WITH A SURVIVAL SCRIPT - get it here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1doA41_cPEkYyGO3NfCBKKlfh1kmTDKMC

Sirs, good morning. I'm testing this rom now.
Well, here for me the battery is having a higher consumption, I had problem with Bluetooth, the screen brightness does not work and neither does the screen lock as well.
Another thing is that I translated for brazilian portugese, however some things are still in english ....
So far what I have noticed is this ....

I was using another of yours ROM: 6.0.1 AOSPB [ 03.02.2016 ] that works very well.
Now I 'm testing this ROM and for the moment no problems.:good:
Thanks for your work.
aayushya pls include toggle switch in setting for WiFi and Bluetooth in next update
possible bug found: after a 3-4 time soft reboot the wifi can´t turn on.. my phone is XT1032 twrp 3.0.0
can you add the wheater on the notification bar/drawer..please!
Thanks for this rom, very smooth and ram is used very well (good multitasking). I noticed only a huge battery drain in Wi-Fi, I don't know if it is a known MM problem. Anyone too?
The only issue I have is that gps can't get a lock. It's the same on VRToxin, which is also AOSP. I have no issues with anything CM-based. I've tried running the commands to clear the modem's cache as well as reinstalling the factory image, getting a lock, and reinstalling the rom over the top of the factory rom. I've even went as far as to edit the gps.conf file. Nothing has worked so far.

For now it'll download whole ROM, in the future, it may get Delta updates.
comment/issues after flashing this rom :
1. battery icon cannot really be changed to circle. It stays in vertical style.
2. long pressing the cog-icon in the notification bar doesn't do anything, so I can't enable demo mode, for example.
3. adb over wifi doesn't work. In third party apps, it does work.
4. "browser" keeps crashing from time to time, even though I never opened it.
5. weather feature can be enabled, but doesn't do anything.
6. really wish there would be an option : double-tap-to-wake. Currently only kernel that I know of that allows it easily is ElementalX.
7. No need to flash vendor? cool! Is there really auto-update feature?

Bluetooth Calls - No audio still
Even I am awaiting for bluetooth call audio from so long. I request devs to put that bug on priority list. No one even mentions it in their bug list which is wrong. They should. Every ROM based off Lineage has this bug. You van call and pick up call using Bluetooth but after that u can't hear nor the recover can listen to you.

This for me is by far the best Oreo ROM. I know that all the devs have put a lot of work into making this work for our phones. I have not had a single issue with this ROM. Bluetooth works fine for me, but I use my car for calling and a Bluetooth to FM transmitter for media audio since they car does not support it. Perhaps that is where others have an issue. I'm not in the build that came out today, but everything is working, so I'm not planning on changing that. The battery life is far better than any other ROM I've used. Thank you for all your hard work.

I'm not in the build that came out today, but everything is working, so I'm not planning on changing that. The battery life is far better than any other ROM I've used. Thank you for all your hard work.

Thanks for the Compliment, I hope i will fix everything in upcoming updates:fingers-crossed:
Yes, battery life is better than other ROMs, i will try to improve it more
Thanks Again
I have noticed that with the camera app, even the play store ones, the flash comes too early and you can't take a picture at dark most of the time. I don't know if that's a ROM issue, or not. Great work. Love the battery life.

Check the OP for more details about fixed bugs and updated download link.
does it work in one action?
Perfect rom, very optimized, the only problem I have is that I can't get out of the calls, the 'red button' just doesn't work.

Happy to hear that!
Have you tried updating Google phone app from the play store? Because on my device it works without problems.
Also can you provide some logs while you hung up the call so I can find out what is the issue? Thanks
Edit: have you flashed the ROM coming from latest stock firmware? Also can you check you baseband version under "About" in you settings please?
versão de banda base: 'S337AP_KANE_SGCS_QB2735898'
ok, I will move to stock rom again.
Ok

Mine is:
Code:
S337AP_KANE_SGCS_QB3050450
Try updating modem to the latest version and possibly all firmware to latest version, it should fix the problem.
Don't hesitate to ask again if the issue still occur
Same problem as with all Roms posted here on xda. (LineagenOS 17.1 and LineagenOS 18.1) does not work, does not work, the red button to hang up the call. I can't end the call. i have a motorola one vision xt1970-2. baseband version: S337AP_KANE_SGCS_QB2881431.
Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem, I don't know if there will ever be a patch, a solution, what a pity, I love this rom, but I can't keep using it, I can't hang up the call. there are already 3 (Roms). LineagenOS 17.1, LineagenOS 18.1 and DotOs, and neither works for me.

they're different, this build is official and khalvat's build is unofficial.
You can create a new thread on unified deveploment
Is your development related to Khalvats? I mean did you include his fixes and optimization like higher Mic gain?
Do you plan to fix the faulty charging value? I don't know why Khalvat doesn't want to, but fix for it is there since last year at least.

Is not related, there are several differences that I found between both builds:
Khalvat 7.11
- ROM didn't pass safetynet (CTS profile)
- Android SystemWebView version 92.x.x.x
- Battery drain if you set oppacity level on QS and/or notification panel
- A little bit of lag
- Not official
This one:
- ROM passes safetynet
- Android SystemWebView version 94.x.x.x
- NO battery drain if you set oppacity level on QS and/or notification panel
- Smooth
- Official (implies monthly updates/builds)
You can make another thread con unified development @bestiatester
Seria una buena idea porque ahí lo miraría mas gente o puedes hacer un thread ahí con un link que redirija para aqui
Translated by GT: It would be a good idea because more people would look at it there or you can make a thread there with a link that redirects to here

Thanks a lot for that comparison. While the official tag theoretical implies monthly updates, it still depends on the developer. If he doesn't have time or changes mind, there won't be any update. I guess the OTA Update would be a real difference.

Asking a Mod to move thread would be the better choice as it would look like spamming to have threads everywhere.

Maybe I'm blind, but I only see download link for KLTE and not for variants, did I miss something?
There is a reason there is an extra unified section and that is:
For unified AOSP type ROMs, kernels and mods., suitable for multiple S5 versions
Click to collapse
So if it's KLTE only it would be the wrong section.
You can download for all the klte devices the only thing is that you need to flash lineage OS boot.img to boot con other devices

Currently I'm using kernel sources from lineage os. But I'm open to suggestions.
If you point me to the fix for the charging problem I'll try to include it.
Regards
I'm no developer, but I just asked fbs as he has fixed it in his Tuned kernel long ago. If he doesn't directly reply here, I will forward his answer.
But if I remember correctly it was a simple multiplication (by hundred or so).
Working great on my klte sm-g900r4 with Mindthegapps MindTheGapps-11.0.0-arm-20210212_145641.zip
Thank you for the continued support of this still solid device.
I have 2 of them. Just toys for me to fulfill my flashing/modding needs
I run LOS 18.1 on the other to compare.
I get a crash before login on this rom resulting in a bootloop even after wiping data. 7.6 runs without problems.
But I did not flash any g-apps cause I don't need their functionality. Could this be related on this version?

I don't think so, the first time only to test the ROM, I did a clean flash (no gapps nor magisk) without any issues, the second time I did a clean flash with gapps and magisk without any issue/problems, working smooth, it's my daily driver
