Don't try higher level than 81hz,and turn off dc dimming when higher than 72hz

Any tips to get better battery life? I got 4h SOT
I know that Miui 12.5 drains battery but I never thought it will drain so much
@lukstheboss
Waiting for new release,get a better battery life with backport some Upstream features.Any way,optimize the value [down_rate_limit_us] and [up_rate_limit_us] of schedutil will be a good idea
It sounds corny to disable the facking autostart

for the little core,set [down_rate_limit_us] to 300,set [up_rate_limit_us] to 80000
for the middle and big core, [down_rate_limit_us] to 5000 , [up_rate_limit_us] to 10000
Also ,you can try limit uclamp.min to 0,for game ,rollback default value [1024]

It seems no need to set uclamp,value 0 for disable,value 1024 for unlimited
I'll release ver 1.2.0 afterwards,provide default value for {down/up}_rate_limit_us for each clusters that I put here previous
Why i can't set/lock maximum CPU clock ?
If this one has support for larger than 4000mAh battery, if I plan to slap on two more 4000mAh batteries and connect them in parallel, does it automatically recognize the extra capacity? or do I need to change some parameters. If I need to change parameters, please tell me how. Thank you

Infinite Battery
Hi for all, i had seen this script here, and liked it a lot. So I decided to port it to the Moto E. :laugh:
Features:
Make your phones battery last much much longer with this script. You need SManager for this to work. This script can significantly increase battery.
HTML:
What this script does?
When your phone is in AWAKE state:
Governor = Interactive
Max = 1190000
Min = 300000
When your phone is in SLEEP state:
Governor = OnDemand
Max = 300000
Min = 300000
So basically this script automatically changes governor,min & max freq and more
depending on your phone's state which results in saving battery to great extent.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Installation:
1. Download the script to the root of your sdcard
2. Open SManager
3. Navigate to the script
4. Select the script
5. Click on Su and Boot Button
6. Select Save
7. Reboot your phone
Now SManager will run this script on every boot.

Nice work. I'll edit it for myself. 300 max when screen off might delay deep sleep as it would take more time to finish off the tasks.
Also, playing music would be a bit problematic.
Just saying from what I've learnt on my other device.

There's not bug. This script does exactly what's noted in the OP. No issues there. :good:
What I meant is that, by reducing the high frequency during "screen off", off screen tasks will take longer and it will delay the deep sleep stage.
Try 600 max during "screen off" and see if it improved deep sleep.
I've been doing all this tweaking since "set cpu" days with gingerbread.
Now, I use tasker for such tasks. :victory:

It's just a script that's supposed to be executed at every boot.
Use the app mentioned in first post to do it.
I have less than 10 post so I have to make a separate thread here.... Anyway I have been alternating between Liquidsmooth and debloated stock. Compared to stock I have noticed very high battery drain, even when the phone is not doing anything! I have tried disabling unnecessary services, but drain still seems high, is there anything I can do about this?
Also thanks for putting the rom together Rav3nt3ch, aside from the battery trouble it's a great rom!
I have noticed that the battery saver and turning on the phone while plugged in both seem to cause problems with going into deep sleep mode in liquid. Without the battery saver active and rebooting with the phone unplugged i think i get better or at least comparable life to stock.

Nowadays, modern Android devices come with a pretty large battery, 3000 - 5000 mAh battery has now become common. This tutorial is not for those people who already have good batteries in their phone, but you are welcome to read and share this post with anyone. I own a Moto x Play device and it came with 3630 mAh battery pretty good Ah! Well, not exactly cause over a year of usages I am now facing a quick battery drain issue, mostly because of using a custom ROM (not very stable one), this issue brought me to a place where I wanted a solution for this problem and I did some googling and tweaked my device in such a way that it is now giving battery backup just like before when i first brought it and today i am going to share that with you.
So Lets get stated
App you need
1 ForceDoze
2 Greenify + Magisk Integration
3 Ex Kernel Manager or Kernel Toolkit [ Paid]
4 Obviously Rooted device.
Tweak I made to my phone
1 Firstly i install all the above mentioned apps and give them root permission, I also install magisk Greenify Integration module
2 Here are the setting i made in each app
a)ForceDoze Setting:
i) Active
ii) Goto Setting and disable Disable motion sensing for Doze

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
b) Install Magisk Greenify Module
View attachment 4405154 View attachment 4405155
c) Set this setting in Greenify
i) Aggressive Doze (Experimental)
ii) Wake-up Tracking and cut off
d) Download GlassFish1.2 [remove the .txt extension] Governor profile for Ex-kernel Manager and save in the directory [Internal Storage>ElementX folder>gov_profile] also disable zRam
View attachment 4405145 View attachment 4405146 View attachment 4405147 View attachment 4405148 View attachment 4405149
Some more Tweak
1 Disable Bluetooth and WIFi Scanning from setting
2 Disable location access and run in background for some app which you don't use frequently using Ap Ops
My Battery stats after using this tweak:
If you like this post do give a thumb up :good:

I think that the best option for battery saving would be the use of the Android's battery saver utility. This will trigger the little core's and stop the big ones. I could get from 6h to 8h of SoT just by keeping it enabled.

So I tried deleting a bunch of apps to see if there was an application that was causing the issue, and after deleting a ton, my battery is much better. I lose about 1% +- in 7 hours and I lose about 1% per 4 or 5 minutes with the screen on. The battery is so much better. Here's a list of what I did:
Airplane mode
Bluetooth off
Data off
Location off
Screen lowest brightness
Pico Gapps
removed:
Music app
AudioFX
RRO OTA update app
Recorder
FusedLocation.apk
NFCNFI.apk
I use lawnchair launcher
Stumbled upon this app for our snapdragon 865, via github and thought I would share.
This app allows to quickly and easily (OC,UC,OV,UV) Overclock and Undervolt your GPU by allowing to edit the frequency and voltage tables. Also the ability to repack your current kernel with changes and flash your new image for you.
KonaBess
Requires root .
What is this?
A simple app that can custom GPU frequency and voltage tables without recompiling the kernel
How it works?
By unpacking Boot / Vendor Boot image, decompiling and editing relevant dtb (device tree binary) files, and finally repacking and flashing.
How to use?
See "help" inside.
Why "KonaBess"?
"Kona" is the code name of Snapdragon 865 series.
Snapdragon 888 's GPU has minus improvement in energy efficiency, thus we are able to overclock sd865 and beat it. And this is the reason why the app was born.
Though sd888 is compatible now, the app name won't change.
How much improvement can I get?
I see someone undervolted his sd865, reducing power cost 25% in gfx(4.2w->3.2w) bench.
In fact, it is chip-specific and depends on your stability requirements.

Reflash stock kernel, or set settings to default in KonaBess.
Man this's wholesome. I overclocked my snapdragon 778G from 550 to 563 and the performance score in 3Dmark is higher than 90% devices of the same model (Mi 11 lite 5G NE). I wonder if it's possible to do the same with CPU someday
I have a device running on a SD750G 5G, the SD750 is in the supported list but would it also work on this specific processor? It's for a OnePlus Nord CE 5G.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,

Reflashing stock vendor_boot restores stock settings as well. I didn't know you could apply default config through app. Cool. Anyone know of a kona.txt that works well with op9 series using oos a13
