No, I promise MSM will work, you just need to figure out the drivers.

Search internet how to enter edl mode to flash ROM with Qfil
People are willing to help, but no response from the post creator. Many others might be in the same situation waiting for a solution. Come on.
I've bricked my device countless times but it only disabled booting to system and recovery for me. Fastboot always kept usable for me no matter how badly I messed up anything. Then I could flash twrp and vbmeta through fastboot.bat solution on PC and finally a working ROM from TWRP. What did you do? Please write about your situation in detail so I might try to come up with a solution. I'm also a realme Q user.

You need to open your phone and "short" the board using a paperclip or tweezers
Install Qualcomm Snapdragon drivers on pc
When you connect your phone it will appear as Qualcomm 9008 in device manager of windows
Download Qfil flashing program from Qualcomm..install it. ..run it ..it will detect your phone
Flash stock fastboot rom to device using QFIL
nobody can do all the work for you
Google :
-Testpoint realme
-Qfil Qualcomm
-Qualcomm 9008 drivers
- fastboot stock ROM realme
-emmc firehose programmers files realme

Ohhh god, that's so advanced stuff.
Msg misunderstood...
I just said there maybe others in the same situation, not me. I won't dare to open my phone and do those stuff because i have messed many in the past. I am on stock rom and very happy..
I was just concerned about the person who posted this thread. Sorry if you misunderstood my msg.
I upgraded to realme ui 1.0, and then formatted data. The result is the same as you. Finally, I can only change the motherboard

If you are on RUI 1.0, you will have fastboot and stock recovery access. You can download latest UI and install it via stock recovery. Why change MB?

I am not able to get emmc firehose file for realme x2 pro.. still searching for that. can you suggest me where to get?
I'm really new to all of this so sorry for the ignorance. I'm trying to revert my OP8T KB2003 back to OxygenOS and get rid of Lineage and TWRP. Can't seem to find a proper tutorial on how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You can revert via MSM tool.

Thanks for the reply. So I tried the different firmware and followed the instructions, but it doesn't seem to be able to pick up the phone. I'm holding down both volume buttons for a few seconds before plugging it in. Does the bootloader being unlocked have something to do with it? If so i'm unsure how to lock it again.

Does the phone show in device manager as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008?
If yes, try entering edl mode again.
If no, you need to install the Qualcomm drivers.

It shows up as QUSB_BULK How would I go about installing the drivers?
I also wasnt able to start the MSM Tool with pushing Buttons. If drivers are correct you should Google Boot edl Mode via ADB command. This worked for me.
There is a good thread in the "guide" section that could make it alot easier for you.

Read the OP of the MSM Tool thread carefully. It tells you what to do about getting Crash Dump when using MSM.

SMT Download failed!
So i tried many versions of msm tool and all works but still cant boot

There's only 3 possibilities.
1.) You're using the wrong MSM tool. This is the correct one for TMO device.
2.) You're device isn't a T-Mobile device. You're either mistaken, or were given incorrect information
3.) You need to troubleshoot the flashing itself. Try different USB ports, a different computer if you can. If MSM really finished the whole process and said complete with a green bar, than this is unlikely, and 1 or 2 is your answer.

I just made a full dump of the rom and swapped out the recovery files, boot, and vbmeta. I wiped it then flashed it with mtkclient with the wl out command. It wont exit brom(i used mtkmeta utility for brom and not the TP and i think that messed it up). I sent the mtkclient devs a question and trying as many methods as i think of. A fix is bound to arise.
MTKMeta was your problem It states in the description that the tool might mess our phones up, the A12 is one of the phones listed to not use with the tool at this point in time. It breaks the phone Not sure why

Yeah kinda missed that small print welp
I figured it out.extract all files in bl, ap, csc, cp(must be firmware you were on). convert from lz4 to img if need be theres a tool for it. In mtk client you have to flash the partitions individually. So python mtk printgpt to see all your partitions then flash all the files to their partitions(python mtk w boot exampleboot.img). I just made a script to install everything from the run.example. After you get it all installed i held volume down and power and it rebooted into download mode then just use odin after that.
