hi all, i' ve recently bought a brand new xiaomi mi mix 2s and i have it upgraded to the latest miei 10 with android P GLOBAL STABLE, when i get on whatsapp or snapchat and open the camera to take a picture i get the preview from the 2x camera instead of the normal camera and when i take the picture the actual picture is from the normal camera, is it a fixable bug? thanks for the answers (i attach the pics to explain better)
it's a bug but in app... not in system .

Hi, I face the same problem with several apps. I checked by covering up the other camera. It seems that the capture is from the same camera but just that the preview is not showing the full frame but only the centre area.

Hello brothers, how are you? i tried to use the walpapers on the mi mix 2s using the google background app. Works great on the home screen but doesn't work on the lock screen, can someone help me, I really wanted to leave my device with super wallpapers

Just curious to know if it's possible to change the default camera an app is using? For example, on my Xiaomi Mi 9T, it uses the zoom lense in Google Meet, which sucks as I do present stuff via Camera and actually would prefer to use the ultra-wide lense. Sadly, Google Meet does not allow to switch the camera used (besides from front-camera and first back camera)
Is there any app / Magisk module / setting to change the order of the different cameras so that apps first use the ultra-wide lense?

Try to add USB camera. Or connect web camera to computer or mobile. Now you will see two option. You can change default camera.
For that you need to root mobile.
Try Gcam mode software which are used on Google pixel.

I new here, so I just bought the P40 and I'm using really enjoy this phone, the camera is pretty good.
I want know if there are Hide App built in in EMUi 11 ? because I really need this feature and my old fone is Xiaomi Mi 9T and this phone have this feature for hide banks app for example.

I've poco x3 pro and I'm on miui global 12.5.4 stable.
The scrolling screenshot isn't working in most of apps including chrome, i expected mi to fix it in update but they haven't. Is there any solution to it?
I want to buy mi 11 ultra and I'm afraid of this bug, i need this feature often. Is this bug also there in rest of miui based phones?
