Question Scrolling screenshot not working - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Hello,
I've poco x3 pro and I'm on miui global 12.5.4 stable.
The scrolling screenshot isn't working in most of apps including chrome, i expected mi to fix it in update but they haven't. Is there any solution to it?
I want to buy mi 11 ultra and I'm afraid of this bug, i need this feature often. Is this bug also there in rest of miui based phones?

Fewer MIUI 9 features for Mi4i

I updated to MIUI 9 7.9.15 yesterday and some features like split screen, quick switch between recently used app etc. are missing. Is this intentional? Does Xiaomi plan to release the fully functional version of MIUI 9 for Mi4i? Or is it an issue only I am experiencing?
"Does Xiaomi plan to release the fully functional version of MIUI 9 for Mi4i?"
NO
because the version of the android mi4i gets is still 5.0 , thats why it doesnt support some features .

Phone updated to official MIUI 12 on Mi Note 10. Are the super wallpapers missing?

Hi,
My Mi Note 10 has just updated via the updater in phone settings, to MIUI Global 12.0.1 Stable (QFDMIXM). I believe it just become available for the phone, I'm in the UK. For some reason I can't seem to find or switch on the Mar's or Earth super wallpapers, it only seems to have normal wall papers. This was the one feature I was looking forward to in the MIUI 12 update.
Have Xiaomi just not included these Superwallpapers in for the official global release for the Mi Note 10. I recall reading somewhere that only china devices get these wallpapers?
.Or do I need to go for a factory reset? Perhaps I've messed something up prior to the MIUI 12 update although I can't see how?
Final option, I saw the superwallpapers can be added to any phone from this forum if they aren't included with the update.
Would appreciate the advice, just scratching my head as to what's happened with these wallpapers, but don't want to factory reset if it's needed.
Thanks,
fcorry
As far as i know, only phone with snapdragon 8 series that will get the super wallpaper
Hello. After MIUI 12 update there is no dedicated 5x and macro buttons on camera default layout. Why is that?
Is it there just swipe to zoom with two fingers
Or tap on 2x and tap again on 2x button
Will apear the other modes
Do you have the clone tool on the camera after the update? It was offered for us but I didn't get it.

Question Anyone have a fix for 3rd party launchers and gestures enabled?

My current device is a Redmi Note 5 and I've set it up to my liking using Nova Launcher under MIUI 11 and found out Android 11 as well as Android 10 don't work well with third party launchers.
Today I put in my request for bootloader unlock For the POCO X3 Pro, so I'll have to wait a week for anything interesting, I intend to keep dailying the Note 5 untill the timer runs out.
I've seen a few solutions, but nothing specific for our device.
Is anyone else in the same boat as me?
You can try the latest releases of Lawnchair launcher. They work well with Android 10. I'm using Lawnchair with Corvus OS (Android 10) and it is working fine. Now, as for Android 11, there is no solution yet. Lawnchair has developed a new beta release, but it is buggy... The only thing we can do is....wait!!!

I never gave lawnchair a chance, it came stock on a ROM I used, but installed nova over it immediately. Guess I'll give it a try soon. Sounds like it's one of the launchers with the most active development, so I may owe it to myself to take it out for a spin.
This helped me:
Go to Settings -> Notification Access and enable your 3rd party launcher (eg. Nova, Smart ...)
(Poco F2 Pro, Poco X3 Pro, stock Android 11)

so you have gestures working on nova latest beta? i have latest beta from their discord, i already gave every permissions and it just reverts back to navbar 3 buttons. or sometimes it bugs out and just gestures dont work
I had to use FGN and the bottom area is hit and miss, had to set the sides for second action when swiping up or down to home or recent apps.

That def doesn't work for me since I have the EU 12.0.4.0 ROM (RJUMIXM) flashed to my device and the menu options are laid out differently.

In any case, Nova does have notification access, even if the layout is not the same. It still doesn't work.

Question MIUI dialer and contacts for Mi 12

Hello; This is my fisrt experience with Mi 12 as I moved from Redmi 4 prime (what a jump ), but I noticed that xiaomi has integrated the Google phone dialer instead of MiUi dialer which used to be much better in my older phone.
After reading about that I knew that Xiaomi wants to agree with google about their ploicy not to use manufacturer dialer apps, but I heared that we can flash the dialer and the contacts like what we do with Gapps, is that trure? or the only solution would be the "Indonesian ROM"?
Thanks for help with that

Actually am not sure if China ROM would work fine with me, and what is the difference between it and Global ROM? and will this ROM in the thread you put is official Stock ROM? would it void the warranty? will I still get the official updates from Xiaomi? Thanks for your reply

These roms are custom roms, for your device based on chinese roms.
Two roms: Stable and Weekly, the latter receiving the latest features and updated once a week.
You will need to unlock the bootloader to install them, the warranty still works.
Normally the warranty stops if you install a custom rom.
In the event of a brick at the software level, you can always recover the phone and in the event of a brick at the hardware level with a custom rom, many have reported that Xiaomi had carried out the repairs without problems.
These roms have playstore certified with many modifications and options.(currently Miui 14 A13).
If you have a Chinese version, you cannot lock the bootloader on another version of rom, you will have to root the phone and use Magisk to have the play store certified.
