Question Not Registered on Network - Samsung Galaxy A12

My phone details:
Model: SM-A125F
AP: A125FXXU1BUK1
CSC: A125FOJM1BUK1
CP: A125FXXU1BUK1
Country: XSG
Phone says Not registered on network after factory reset. I done several factory resets after but still the same.
It was on stock android 10, so I flashed it to android 11 but nothing.
I tried manually registering a network operator but nothing (Response: Unable to connect Try Later).
This is all with different working sims each time.
Could this be something to do with FRP?
Any Ideas?

Currently, I'm staying in Zambia. And it's a local carrier, Airtel

The screenshot you posted says carrier id = AFR which is Kenya in the African region. You original post stated the country was XSG which is UAE in the Asia region. If that is true then it could explain why the phone is not working. The CP and CSC would be wrong for your region. Try downloading and flashing the AFR firmware from HERE. You are currently on a Bit/SW REV. 1 software (attached screenshot) so I would stay there for now until you get the phone working then you can go to latest software. If you are truly going from XSG to AFR then I would re-partition flash in ODIN. Extract the PIT file from the CSC archive and specify it in the PIT tab in ODIN. Let me know if you have any questions

In addition to the above, I would flash an older version to start with (A125FXXU1ATL4) so you can use the CSC changing option from within the phone. They removed the option in later software versions. Reference THIS article for help.

I'm seeing this only after I have flashed A125FXXS2BVA3 XFA. I figured the AFR meant South Africa. Now the Bit/SW REV. is 2. Can I still go ahead and flash A125FXXU1ATL4?

VDI or XEU

Hi folks
I bought S7 from Vodafone Ireland. And I would expect it to use VDI-regioned firmware (but I did not notice what was the original region, my fault). I rooted it - and OTA upgrades do not work for me any more. SmartSwitch keeps upgrading with XEU region. Why? Should I bother? Should I (how?) use VDI-regioned firmware? How does SmartSwitch decide which region to use (and how to change that)?
I would like to understand what's going on...
VDI is Vodafone Ireland region
XEU is generic UK/Ireland region
Any comments are appreciated.

Hi mate
Most roms are multi CSC and when that is the case and you flash with CSC instead of home_csc (odin) a default CSC is applied in your case seems to be XEU, if you use home _csc you keep whatever csc you had
Should not make a big difference , you change your CSC to whatever you want but you need to be root
I understand that it should not matter much. But still...
What I do not understand is when my CSC changed from VDI to XEU? Why did SmartSwitch do that? I am root. How would I change it back to VDI?
I look at the Phone INFO app, it says:
Original CSC Code: VDI
Firmware CSC Code: XEU
Active CSC Code: XEU
I would like to have VDI/VDI/VDI if it is possible...
PS I do not think I ever flashed with full csc. At least it seems SmartSwitch is always doing home_csc. If so, it means the original CSC was XEU, right?

Change CSC

Hi!
I bought a G930FD unit out of my country (dual sim version is not available here).
Then I activated Samsung Pay and I faced a weird situation: the app is totally in my language, but the offers and promotions sections are all in english and contain just US offers.
Samsung support told me I won't be able to get offers and promos from my country because of my foreign CSC.
The question: What's the best option to set the CSC of my country and have less change of problems with my device? My current CSC is XSG. I would like to set it to ZTO.

Hello, i'm trying to change my DBT(germany) CSC with UK one but even if i flash with odin last uk firmware with repartition, every time phone restarted main language and CSC doesn't change. How can i align product code, CSC and firmware?

I had the same problem. After 8 unsuccessful attempts I was able to change CSC. But I had to flash ETL ROM and after that I was able to flash BTU. DBT and VDC/VD2 are nasty multi CSC.

This means you have to root the phone right? Can it be done without rooting?
I did not root me phone. CSC can be changed, but it's challange for VDF/DBT firmwares.
As I said, after 8-9 attempt I achieve to change CSC (also had custom status v DN mode).

Hi XDA community,
I have a stock S7 Edge, which now has the XSG CSC (UAE). I want the XFA CSC (unbranded South Africa).
Problem is XSG and XFA are part of a multi CSC (OJV). Everything I've read says this can't be done unless I root my phone which I'm unwilling to do for now.
I'm sure there's a smart someone out there that has figured out how to do this!

Samsung Pay / Android Pay no longer available for latest stock firmware (ARO)?

Hello fellas,
I have just flashed latest stock firmware, and couldn't help noticing there was no Samsung Pay or Android Pay app.
When attempting to access both items through Google Play Store, it says my device is not compatible with the version available. How come this is possible? I can't think that the S7 has been outed of Samsung Pay, there has to be something else.
Could it be a problem with the CSC? My region code is ARO (Argentina Unbranded), but after checking the app Phone Info, I have realized that the CSC Installed belongs to TTT (Trinidad y Tobago) and not my region. This always happen when flashing CSC, since it's a multi-CSC, it randomly selects a region. If anyone knows a way of flashing the proper CSC through ODIN, that would be awesome.
Thanks!

The firmware I want is the one that comes with the ARO package, the problem is that such package also includes a multi-country CSC. Among those there is this ARO region I'm needing. My device is Unbranded, I won't install a CSC from a carrier.
Also, I don't have root and I'm not planning to have it either.

Hi
Sorry I read your first post again
Samsung Pay will not work again after you root your phone , if knox is set 0x1 there is no chance to make it work
Android pay is possible if knox is set but firmware is official ( no root) and if the flashed firmware (CSC) has that option
Is ARO part of the multi CSC you flashed with TTT?
You need a CSC that has Android pay , do you remember what CSC you had when it worked?

Yes it does, but some additional kernel modifications are still required for Knox to work. So stock firmware isn't fooled. Most custom s7 kernels have them though.

Any way to get VoLTE working with international phone?

Hello
I bought an s8+ from HK which is the dual SIM Snapdragon version (G9550). Using it here in Australia, everything works as expected as it supports all of our bands, however VoLTE does not work. I've read this is because the CSC does not match a local CSC.
Unfortunately there are no Snapdragon versions sold here, hence no firmware with the Aus CSC (XSA) that will support VoLTE (as I read you can't flash the Exynos ROM onto the Snapdragon).
Is there any way I can enable VoLTE? Can I somehow change the CSC without an official ROM? Like go into the G9550 ROM and replace the CSC with the Aus CSC?
The only other region with the Snapdragon is the US from what I can tell, which probably wouldn't enable VoLTE either.
Any advice is appreciated
Thanks.

You may root and then flash your csc zip (or simply replace the CSC files in the custom rom with your CSC files). You should get VoLTE. Download Multi CSC file from here and extract your csc.
I do the same but with India CSC on USA snapdragon models.

Thanks nimms. This is pretty much exactly what I was after, except I cannot root the phone (work required Knox so I can't trip it ). I was hoping I could do somthing like the above, only via Odin, but it sounds like you can't change the CSC without rooting the phone due to making system changes.

Hi
As far as I'm concerned, this is not possible without tripping the Knox counter. And if you try flashing the XSA CSC (via Odin), you will definitely soft brick your phone

Interesting.
Another question...the only difference I've noticed between the 9550 (HK) and 955U (US) is that the US version does not have Band 28 but the HK version does, which we do use here in Aus.
If I flashed a US firmware (which has the same S835 SoC), would I lose Band28, or would the modem still be able to use it?
EDIT: what if I only flashed the CP file (modem), is this interchangeable between the different SoCs? Could I flash the XSA CP (modem) onto another ROM, or will this soft-brick?

My IMS is saying "Not registered" in the about phone. I can't seem to do anything about it, and the hidden menu doesn't give me the option to change it.
IMS setting is located explicitly on "Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names"
The best bet you may try is to find a Samsung phone thats currently in VoLTE then copy IMS apn settings onto you phone (you manually input the settings).
