Hi,
I recently got the Ekiy T7 (6 / 128Gb) with the Uis7862 processor.
Since it is a FYT device, can I install firmware updates and if so, what needs to be adjusted?

Hi, i would like to ask about the new tablet that i bought.
It uses RK2918 1GHz as the processor and the salesman told me it is using a dual core processer. However, when i reach home and google it, it seem that it has single core only. Can someone help me to verify it.

Well, so did a tablet that's about the firmware can not say anything in google or look for the official site

Hi,
it's not Dual Core. The Tablet is identical to the U9GT2, Visture V2 and Easypad 970 (Easypad has only 8gb instead of 16gb)

I bought a dvd player for cars which runs Android 5.1 along with Rk3188 MCU and kernel 3.0.10. This unit has a board named DK7070 CAN V2.0 which I assume it is a CAN bridge between the TJA1055 CAN transceiver and RK3188. I did not find any clue that there is a CAN driver in /dev file system.
How do they communicate to each other ?
Attached you have the picture from head unit inside.

why is not available the rom for PX5 device? Is there any tecnichal limit?
I've the MTCE_KLD_V2.65_1 device (8 Core 64 bit CPU Cortex-A53 @ 1.5Ghz with 2GB of RAM) with android 6.0.1 and I would like to upgrade it to android 7

Nope, mine device is projector using t972 amlogic, an android box
many projectors on this chip and until now there is nothing for these processors

Also, one outlet covering diverse Chinese MWC announcements in a note published:
"UNISOC will focus on displaying the first 5G smart cockpit chip platform A7870. It will also display a 4G car chip solution A7862, and an eight-core 4G car tech chip solution A8581. These products are currently entering the leading car group. In 2023 and in the future, UNISOC will further increase investment in automotive electronics."
The 7862 we know for years (and the 8581 is even less powerful) and that is why most probably they were branded in a more "legacy way" (4G)... but the fact that they (it seems) decided to dedicate some real-state of the stand to Auto solutions seems promising
Yes, I know, it might be ages until FYT or somebody else actually embeds this in a product... but the FYT-7862 has been around for 2.5 years already...
Has anybody heard anything on this?
