Old android games on new devices. - General Questions and Answers

Is there any free way to play older android games like destinia or the Zenonia games? Anything from android 2 and up or 3 and up if possible? If so could someone explain it to me step by step please

You can test for backward compatibility of the new versions of Android framework by running mentioned games in an emulator what allows you to specify "Android Virtual Devices" with different API levels. Once you create the AVDs, you can test the applications with new versions of the Android framework.

[Q] SDK for Android Multiplayer gaming

What’s the best SDK to develop Android multiplayer games? I’ve been looking at a number of SDKs including Skiller, OpenFeint and Scoreloop. Does anyone know if these SDKs support multiplayer games? If yes, how easy/ difficult is it build one using their SDK?
Hope I'm not stirring any ghosts since this thread is quite old, but it was not answered and I hope my answer will be relevant.
Disclosure: I work at Nextpeer. We provide both a server-side and client-side solution for adding a multiplayer option to games. This means you don't have to worry about hosting, player-to-player communication, or matchmaking. Our SDK is available for both Android and iOS, both natively (so you can integrate it with any other native framework) and as a Unity plugin.
I should say that there are other SDKs for multiplayer, for example Google Play Game Services, and they all have their pros and cons. Some are not as cross-platform as you'd like (Google's Game Services don't have Multiplayer support on iOS), others have tie-ins you may not be interested in (Google's framework is tied to Google Plus, while our SDK works with Facebook).

[Q] Can I run .jar/.jad files on Android?

Hi guys!
I really want to play some old mobile games on my N5.
I've heard aboud the JBED emulator, but it doesn't work on 2.3+ devices.
I also tried to convert the files to apk, with this online converter: http://www.netmite.com/android/srv/2.0/getapk.php
But it seems to fail with all of my .jar and .jad files.
Is there any other way to do this?
Can I port an older game with (nearly) 0 programming skill to Android?

LDPlayer 4.0 - Another Best Android Emulator for PC Gaming

LDPlayer is a free Android emulator for PC designed specifically for mobile gamers. By making use of the Virtualization technology, the developer team has released two Android kernels, which are Android Lollipop 5.1 and Android Nougat 7.1. Thus, you will find LDPlayer 3 which is running Android 5.1, and LDPlayer 4 which is running Android 7.1 on their official website.
LDPlayer has developed many gamer-oriented features, like keyboard mapping controls, native screen recording, operation recorder (record script), multi-instance, etc. The multi-instance feature, which would be a great helper for those who want to play different games on one PC simultaneously, can allow you to create several virtual windows without using too much computer resources.
Moreover, LDPlayer is one of the lightest Android emulators that offer fast processing speed both on high-end and low-end PCs. It has been optimized for some high-demanding games too, such as Black Desert Mobile, Free Fire, World of Dragon Nest (WoD), etc. Though LDPlayer is not as famous as other emulators, it’s anticipated that more emulator users can find this new beast for gaming.

With regards to the mentioned multi-instance feature and your statement that this doesn't use too much computer resources I've to say: YOU ARE WRONG. Player instances share computer resources, don't hook them. Both the CPU-cores and the RAM-amount you assign to be used by a player instance are taken off of given CPU-cores and RAM-amount.
Think about, if your time allows ...
Typically a player instance must have 2 CPU-cores and at least 2 GB RAM assigned in order to more or less flawlessly run a modern game, e.g. PUBG Mobile Lite, etc.pp.
This in mind and knowing Windows 10 according to Microsoft exclusively at minimum needs 2 GB RAM and 1 CPU core to run, for example on a Windows 10 machine with a quad-core CPU and 8 GB RAM you can only successfully run ONE player instance at same time.
Peoples using emulators like LDPlayer always should do the math!

Both mentioned emulators are x86 / x86_64 CPU based - made to run on top of Windows OS, whereas Huawei devices are based on ARM CPU, what is default CPU type of Android devices.
