Just got update notification on op9 phone for android 12
Just wondering if anyone has android 12 and any issues etc with watch synch, notifications etc or anything
Have not updated phone yet
no issues on my note 20 ultra
My op9pro no issues
I read several articles about 12 being more buggy than previous releases. I have no experience with it yet. And I am not enthusiastic about losing Android Auto, which I use on the motorcycle and for which their replacement "solution" is not a solution (from what I surmise).
My months-old Samsung phone is still on 11 (because it is not an overpriced "flagship") and my old Samsung tablet is now stuck (permanently) on 10.
No issues with my flip 3.

Android 10 issues
Ever since i updated my A7 to Android 10 i'm having issues with it. First thing noticed is that internet speed decreased. Second is that i'm unable to connect to wifi with hidden SSID. Furthermore apps - and the phone itself - seem to be working significantly slower comparing to previous Android version. There is NO illegal software on the phone and it is regularly updated to the latest app releases and everything worked just fine & fast until the Android 10 update was done.
As i'm reading, same thing happened to users of other manufacturers phones after Android 10 update (for example Huawei).
Anyone else is experiencing samelike issues?
yes, everything you describe. Same here.
Im back to 9...
Does anyone having problem cannot change camera resolution?
Does anyone have Android Auto running reliably on Android 10? Prior to upgrading, Android Auto would run just about perfect with my Jeep Cherokee. Occasionally I would have a glitch but 9 out of 10 times it just worked when running on Android 9. I've tried both 10.3.4 and now 10.3.5 and unfortunately it's the opposite now, 9 out of 10 times Android Auto fails to connect. I tried uninstalling AA, clearing cache but still no go. Been searching but can't seem to find a fix, but honestly don't actually see many folks talking about it either, thus wondering if it's something unique on my phone. Currently have the Oneplus 6, rooted with Magisk with only couple of modules (Google Dialer, MultiFunctionsPlus4 & Systemless Hosts). Any advice / tips would be welcome. Spend a lot of time in the car, thus would love to get this working reliably once again.
I did some research, and I have not seen anyone report this. It has come to my attention that the Android 11 beta DESTROYS my watch battery. Maybe it communicates a lot with the device, but it always drains so quickly.
I saw in a different forum (completely different website...not sure where at this point) that someone who owns a Mi device running on Android 11 has the same problems. It seems like this is a problem with OS 11 and not our device specifically. I have observed from the beta that my watch vibrates a LOT more, and I do believe that the phone is pushing all notifications and alerts to the watch, including those that don't need to be pushed over. Every time I connect my Bullets Wireless 2, I get a dismissible notification stating that my device also supports aptX. EVERY TIME. This notification cannot be edited or blocked. There's probably a lot more of these kinds of communication between wearable and phone going on in the background.
Currently, I reverted back to Android 10, and all is well once again.
I have a galaxy note 10 plus 5g on t-mobile and have android version 11 one UI 3.1.
Baseband is N976USQU5EUC2 / Build # RP1A.200720.012.N976USQU5EUC2 /Service provider software version SAOMC_OYN_TMB_RR_0015TMB/TMB/TMB /ANDROID SECURITY PATCH LEVEL MARCH 1 2021.
Now here's the problem, I was on android 10 and even after the first android 11 update I had no problems with calls. After the last android 11 update all calls are so distorted I cannot understand what the other party is saying. 98% of the time, it's like this. On the other chance of getting a good connection to the network, the good quality won't last. I have tried everything on the internet I have seen and have also reinstalled the rom. But of course it being on oneUi 3.1, I cannot downgrade to an earlier rom to see if problem stays. Even talked to Samsung with no help. Any ideas on this?? I believe the latest android 11 caused this to happen. Have also tried other sim cards no luck.. Anything else someone needs to help me fix this problem. I also believe the Baseband IC is not the problem. Thanks
Also their is no warranty on the phone............
Hi folks,
I'm having one strange issue with I'm struggling a long time without any luck so far..
The problem seems to be in communication between my iPhone 11 and Redmi Note 3 Special Edition (RN3SE).
If I create hotspot on iPhone 11 my RN3SE refuses to connect but once I try it on different iPhone (iPhone 7 in my case) it works flawlessly.
I found out that both iPhone uses WiFi gen4 but I'm not sure if this is relevant information for you..
Other devices can access to iPhone 11's hotspot.
What I've done so far?
- complete wipe of network settings at both RN3SE as well as on iPhone 11
- complete wipe of whole settings at both phones
- flashing different ROM at Android (switched from Android 8 to Android 9)
Currently I run out of my ideas and thus I'm asking you for help.
Thanks in advance to everyone!
Update: same issue on Android 10 (Ressurection Remix 8.7.0) with my RN3SE ..
FW is version 10.2.1 from MIUI
Maybe some proper adb commands may help?
One interesting finding - RN3SE refuses to connect not only to my iPhone 11's hotspots but also to my friend's iPhone 13 with maximum compatibility ON.
When he tried to turn off maximum compatibility of hotspot it was not even shown in available WiFi list at RN3SE..
