I just got a T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide yesterday, and I'm wanting to root it and install a custom ROM on it, but I don't know how to do that on an HTC device. Can someone guide me as to how to do that?

I need help,i have an htc evo 4g and im new to this site,now iv already rooted it,but i dont think i needed to,i need any information posible to flash it to boost mobile,like i get the concept of it cuz iv seen it done and it work,i just got confused on the returning to stock rom with an ruu,iv got an ruu but it keeps telling me error [156] image error and im lost on what to do from here,im at 5.2 i beleive and the ruu with the rom returning to stock i have is trying to return it to 1.2 i beleive,unless its easier to go from sprint to verizon with htc evo 4g then help with that,help me please and thank you ahead of time
I have a HTC Inspire 4g and its unlocked so i use my tmobile sim card with it but now i need to update my software. I guess its rooting it but idk how . I keep looking for a way to do this and cant find one way. Can anyone give me a link to the Advanced Ace Hack Kit and/or a good step by step tutorial on how to root or upgrade my phone. HELP PLEASE !

I have successfully rooted my htc evo design 4g and also able to flash custom roms but the problems is that all roms have only sprint or CDMA network enable no support for GSM i really need a custom rom for HTC Evo Design 4G with GSM support also if anyone knows please post the link as i urgently need it....
