I need help,i have an htc evo 4g and im new to this site,now iv already rooted it,but i dont think i needed to,i need any information posible to flash it to boost mobile,like i get the concept of it cuz iv seen it done and it work,i just got confused on the returning to stock rom with an ruu,iv got an ruu but it keeps telling me error [156] image error and im lost on what to do from here,im at 5.2 i beleive and the ruu with the rom returning to stock i have is trying to return it to 1.2 i beleive,unless its easier to go from sprint to verizon with htc evo 4g then help with that,help me please and thank you ahead of time

Yes I believe you can and honestly you don't need to do anything but rather take it to the metro store. Let them do all that lol

You definetly can. My buddy has one with android 1.5. I actually found this post because I am trying to figure out how to get him to at least 2.1 or even a 2.2 custom rom. Did you ever find any info on all this??
I have a rooted HTC Amaze with s-on and unlocked bootloader. Yesterday I tried to flash Android Revolution so I can have an ICS rom. I couldn't use my phone for almost an entire day until I finally figured out how to get back onto bulletless around 2am.
I want to upgrade to ICS but I have no clue what to do, I have read many many threads about what to do but nothing is really clear to me.
I might be asking something really obvious to some people but I am eff'd if I can't use my phone and I just need a little help from someone who can tell exactly what to do, thanks everyone.

Your problably not going to loose unlock but it's alway good to read everything before you do something am sure that the Rom you want has a read me on it so just research good luck.
My friend had an HTC evo 3d and it broke so I bought him an epic 4g really cheap on eBay (not the touch). I rooted it and put cm 9 on it and sent him the phone. He lives in Colorado and I live in Louisiana. When he finally got the phone today he said the sprint store couldn't activate it and I read that you gotta be on the same android version as stock rom which is GB on that phone. Would he be able to flash a GB rom over the ICS rom in CWM? I Want To Try to make it as simple as possible for him because he is a noob to this stuff. Thanks
