Hi
can someone tell me where i can download the correct usb drivers for Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 to connect to my Windows 10 (64-bit) PC please?
When I connect the tablet to my PC my PC does not even recognise it. Nothing registers under the device manager when I connect the tablet to my pc, not even as unknown device.
However, when I connect the tablet while it is in the fastboot mode then the device manager shows it under other device as Mipad but with no drivers installed so cannot do ADB stuff like unlocking the bootloader.
my device is Mi pad 2 , android 5.1, 64gb and I am trying to unlock the bootloader in order to install custom rom.
If someone can please help then I would really appreciate it. thanks

Hi! I'm having some issues trying to unlock my bootloader so I can root my new one mini.
I've been trying to follow the instructions here: http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/unlock-instructions/
But when I get to step five, fastboot won't detect the phone. adb can't see the phone either. My computer cannot recognize the device
I have sync killed on my computer, I've tried both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, and I know my USB driver is up to date.
Something with my computer's OS or drivers is not working, and I can't figure out how to progress. Can anyone help?
HTC USB drivers don't work on Windows 8/8.1.

Ok here is my problem and I will try including all the relevant information that I am aware of. I can't see my TF300T when I enable fastboot mode on the tablet.
1. I turned on usb debugging in tf300t settings
1. I unlocked the tf300t using tool from ASUS
2. I installed the android sdk kit
3. turned off tablet
4. Plugged tablet into usb
5. Held power off and volume down ( boots up with 3 icons. RCK Android Wipe ) pc comes up with failed usb device. I go into device manager and
under usb controllers it shows unknown device. I click update driver select the naked driver winsub and it says it is not compatible. I tried deleting device and rebooting etc but no matter what I do or what driver I use I can't get the computer to recognize the tf300t in fastboot mode. It will work fine when it is not in fastboot mode I can transfer files all day long. but no matter what I do I can't get computer to recognize the device in fastboot mode.
Computer.
asus H87-pro motherboard
8gb ram
Intel I5 Haswell
OS
Windows 7 Home Premium Service pack 1
I am really befuddled and could use a hand.

Just a quick update. I used a different computer that I had never plugged the tf300t in and before I plugged it in, booted it into fastboot, It showed up as a fastboot device and installed the naked driver. So that problem is solved.

Change USB port, change USB cable, install Android USB Driver matching your needs if not already done yet

hi

i followed the link and install both drivers but still have the problem.
i have dell 5110 laptop with usb 2
Download miflash_unlock-en-4.5.813.51 from here: https://c.mi.com/thread-2262302-1-0.html
It has the drivers. Just execute the driver setup and it will start working
Guys, I came across this problem, and there might be another solution - just connect your device to your desktop using another cable with better bandwidth (USB-C cable in my case)
if your laptop/PC have USB 3.0 port, try to use that port.
in my case, my PC won't recognize my phone if i plug it to USB 2.0 ports, but when i plug it in to USB 3.0 ports it works (using original charging cable)
i hade the sasme probleme. when i install the latest miflash_unlock-en the pc ask to connect my phone . i connect it and then it install the drivers. after that the phone recognized instantly.
For me you have to click the settings icon in mi unlock tool and there's a button install drivers, after that it worked
I recently bought the POCO X4 Pro 5G, but the device isn't detected by my computer, which runs Arch Linux.
When connected via USB to the computer, nothing pops up on the device, and it just charges. On the computer, nothing indicates that the device is detected either : nothing in the lsusb menu, and of course, no device detected by adb.
I enabled USB Debugging/OEM unlocking, installed the abd/fastboot tools, tried using the XiaomiTool v2 software, without success.
I also used different USB cable, including one which supports data transfer.
Does anyone know why this happen, and maybe how to fix it ?
It works fine on my computer running Manjaro Linux (which is based on Arch). Maybe faulty usb port on phone? I am just guessing.
EDIT: And you can try rebooting phone first, same thing happened on my another phone before.
