hi
thanks alot
i followed the link and install both drivers but still have the problem.
i have dell 5110 laptop with usb 2
Download miflash_unlock-en-4.5.813.51 from here: https://c.mi.com/thread-2262302-1-0.html
It has the drivers. Just execute the driver setup and it will start working
Guys, I came across this problem, and there might be another solution - just connect your device to your desktop using another cable with better bandwidth (USB-C cable in my case)
if your laptop/PC have USB 3.0 port, try to use that port.
in my case, my PC won't recognize my phone if i plug it to USB 2.0 ports, but when i plug it in to USB 3.0 ports it works (using original charging cable)
i hade the sasme probleme. when i install the latest miflash_unlock-en the pc ask to connect my phone . i connect it and then it install the drivers. after that the phone recognized instantly.
For me you have to click the settings icon in mi unlock tool and there's a button install drivers, after that it worked

Hi, just received my Surface Pro yesterday and its amazing Anyways, I've been installing all my normal desktop applications as I would do with any other new PC. Today, I tried to install drivers for fastboot so I can flash custom kernels on my Xperia S. I managed to get the fastboot and ADB drivers installed correctly by disabling driver enforcement, but every time I connect my phone in fastboot mode to my Surface, Windows says the last USB device connected has malfunctioned.
I've read that other people are having problems with Windows 8 64bit and installing drivers, but I've managed to do that without problems
I've also read that you should plug your phone into a USB 2.0 port because it won't work with USB 3.0 ports yet but since the Surface Pro has only one USB 3.0 port, I haven't had the chance to try that.
I wonder if there is an adapter that changes USB 3 to USB 2? Maybe this could solve the problem?
Has anyone managed to get fastboot for any android phone working successfully on their Surface Pro?
Thanks in advance.
You could possibly try a USB 2.0 hub to degrade the USB 3 port to a USB 2 port.

Thanks for the reply, I've actually already tried that. It seems to me that Google need to update their SDK for USB 3.

I doubt that it is a USB 3.0 problem as I have USB 3.0 ports only on my laptop and have had fastboot working no problem, as well as adb for my nexus.
It sounds more like you are having driver problems and not usb port problems. I have not tried using fastboot yet on my win8 asus tablet but I should try that today.

Same thing on my Surface Pro. The problem lays in BOTH: the USB 3.0 driver and the Windows 8. There are tons of posts regarding not working many devices on USB 3.0 and Win8 (I'm not sure if it's only in x64 or x86 as well).
Anyway, I'm also stuck with not working fastboot (ADB works good). There is a tutorial how to install unsigned Intel driver but Microsoft's engineers geniuses didn't enabled USB keyboard in Startup Settings so I can't navigate and disable that specific option (I'm using 3rd party keyboard so I guess those morons punish me for that ).
Dear Forum members
I am new to the world of andriod , i have recently got Xiaomi Mi4i , which i understand is a qualcomm chipset device.
I would like to use the QPST tool to see the settings on the phone. I am using win64 8.1, The issue i have is that when i enable the usb debugging mode, i see in device manager a non-recognised USB, they are no drivers for the device.
Is there any qualcomm drivers for the device which i can connect.

Hi, i have the same problem here.
I cant connect to PC but charging phone is normal.
I have checked USB drivers everithing seems to be ok.
I have instaled MiPhoneAssistant.
Maybe reseting usb hubs will help??? Sometimes after pc goes to sleep windows forget usb device.
MIUI global 9.6 stable 9.6.2.0
I have solved an issue.
Go on your phone Developer option and change to PTP (pcture transfer)
Connect to PC
Drivers should be instaled corectly
After that, everithyng works fine with every USB mod selected
Hi
can someone tell me where i can download the correct usb drivers for Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 to connect to my Windows 10 (64-bit) PC please?
When I connect the tablet to my PC my PC does not even recognise it. Nothing registers under the device manager when I connect the tablet to my pc, not even as unknown device.
However, when I connect the tablet while it is in the fastboot mode then the device manager shows it under other device as Mipad but with no drivers installed so cannot do ADB stuff like unlocking the bootloader.
my device is Mi pad 2 , android 5.1, 64gb and I am trying to unlock the bootloader in order to install custom rom.
If someone can please help then I would really appreciate it. thanks
I recently bought the POCO X4 Pro 5G, but the device isn't detected by my computer, which runs Arch Linux.
When connected via USB to the computer, nothing pops up on the device, and it just charges. On the computer, nothing indicates that the device is detected either : nothing in the lsusb menu, and of course, no device detected by adb.
I enabled USB Debugging/OEM unlocking, installed the abd/fastboot tools, tried using the XiaomiTool v2 software, without success.
I also used different USB cable, including one which supports data transfer.
Does anyone know why this happen, and maybe how to fix it ?
It works fine on my computer running Manjaro Linux (which is based on Arch). Maybe faulty usb port on phone? I am just guessing.
EDIT: And you can try rebooting phone first, same thing happened on my another phone before.
