I have the problem that the galaxy wear app shows a white screen when I try to download watchfaces or try to login or register a Samsung account. Everything else works fine. I have a Poco F2 Pro with miui 12.

IMHO Samsung Account only for Galaxy Apps...

No I am from Germany with German phone and watch.... I don't have problems with Google account. My problem is with Samsung Galaxy Wear App. When I try to download watchfaces or login Samsung account or register Samsung account the galaxy wear app opens a white screen. It doesn't freeze or anything like that just doesn't show the next screen properly.
Does anybody have an idea what might be the problem here? Or has the same problem? Thanks

Yes, you need it for acces to Samsung Store, but ost of the apps in SaSt ar also on GPlay.

that's want I do not want indeed: use samsung calendar and samsung sync... Is tehre a way to remove samsung calendar and samsung bookmarks but still be able to login to samsung app store?
Has anyone figured out a way to login to Chat On with your Samsung account. I use Chat On with my Note 2, with my Samsung account. But on the 10.1 you can only create a new Chat On account.... there is not even an option to login using your Samsung account.
It's frustrating because the app is great and I love using it but it is useless on my 10.1 since I cannot sync it with my computer and Note 2 which use the Samsung account.
If you have a solution I would love to hear it

What's the point of this program on a WiFi only tablet (8013)? Seems pointless to me as it says it needs a phone number.

You should just be able to back up your watch faces to your Sansung account then log in with that same account and do a restore ... That is what I do as I have an S2 and an S3. I switch from my Galaxy s9 to my iPhone every once in awhile and I have to restore to get the watch faces and apps back on the watches.

so I have fully updated Samsung Gear S2 (not classic one), and before the update, I could see the message and mail app.
Now I cannot find them either on the phone or on the Samsung Shop.
I have Xiaomi Redmi 4X.
Is there an option to instal this .apk NOT from Samsung Shop?

Mail (and I think message) works only with a Samsung phone. The Watch can not know what mail app the user can have on the 100 000 others phones type/brand

I'm using just Gmail app, like most of the ppl.
How about installing apps, not from the Samsung Store on watch?

Even Android Wear watch have not a GMail app.
Anybody have any luck with getting Google phone and contacts onto GW4 in place of Samsung?
Have you tried to sideload google dialer to your watch? Not sure if it has support for a companion app for the watch though, just a suggestion....
Not exactly sure what you mean. I don't use Samsung "contacts" on my phone, but when I go into contacts on the GW4, I see all my contacts from my Google account...
Also, see all my Google contacts on my GW 4 with my OnePlus 9 Pro.
Have not tried. Wondering if it's worth it and if the phone app can be replaced by it..
