Is there any way to install android 12 on the LG Stylo 6? mine is rooted and unlocked bootloader thanks to @Warlockguitarman

But yea, depending on the gsi it may have root built in. But usually it's Super SU not magisk, some have ability to switch to magisk, and you flash with fastboot, but it is possible to flash with mtkclient too for those models that have fastboot removed
Can you elaborate on how to flash a gsi pls and possibly where to get it. I have a rooted unlocked bootloader Stylo 6 as well and looking to move to Android 12, ive never heard of a gsi tho

If you can, would you assist me as well. Im very new to software modification. I can wire and build almost anything but software is a different langueage to me(literally). I also have a s21 ultra that was given to me non functional and need to bypass the frp lockout. Idk if you can assist with that as well, if so id be happy to compensate you.

There are free tools that can unlock the stylo 6, if that's what you are working on. I have a tool that will probably bypass frp on that s21, I've done it on one before. You can just message me if you want. Warlock has gone the way of the buffalo.

You will have to use a GSI, but I'm gonna tell you, it's super laggy.

I currently build 64bit LineageOS for the LG K20 Plus which is extremely similar to the LG K30 Plus. I would like to start supporting the LG K30 but I don't have the device or know anyone with it to pull stock configs from. It will need 3 pages worth of threads before it gets its own forum. We don't even have one for the K20 Plus yet and I've been developing for it for months. Anyways if you could look up my K20 plus lineage thread and message me on Telegram. I'll be happy to get some device specific info from you so I can build twrp without risking breaking your phone. Thank you in advance. I want to help your device get a swift start on custom software

I too am willing to help out anyway that I can. I also have Telegram if anybody is interested in working further there as well.
Once/if a bootloader unlock method is established for this device, I have TWRP built for the K30. So once somebody manages to bootloader unlock this device, PM me on here or on Telegram and I'll send you the recovery.IMG and the install instructions I know of. However I'm not sure how this will be possible with a non-removable battery.
I haven't unlocked the bootloader for my k30 yet.. but I'll update when it is unlocked.

Just got a 150mb update today. Havnt took it yet. Trying to locate the file and poke around.
LG will most likely be pushing out an Oreo update for this device, the K20 plus and stylo 3 plus were included in the Stylo 4 plus kernel source (the stylo 2 plus was removed). However with this device having a non user-removable battery it may never see an official bootloader unlock method

Just thought I'd let you know, holding the power button and volume down button simulates a battery pull.
Anyone think it's possible to root through lg up tot file like the LG V10 got root initially

I have kind of the same problem (I just want to root the Nokia 2.2), and I've just seen this announcement on this forum, from Oct 13 2020: "Official LineageOS 17.1 based on Android 10 is here for the Nokia 6.1"
It says that "HMD Global’s Nokia is known for offering a clean stock Android experience on its devices and the stock Android One ROM on the Nokia 6.1 is no different. The OEM, however, cracks down on the ability to modify the software on their devices, which means there is no simple way you can unlock the bootloader of your Nokia phone and install a custom recovery like TWRP, root, and flash custom ROMs (either in the form of GSIs or device-specific ROMs)."
From this it would seem that is actually impossible to root and / or unlock the bootloader of any HMD Global’s Nokia phone (like the 2.2, 6.1, or any other). Is this really the case?
My question is it ok to flash the global firmware so updates are more consistent knowing I will lose the UW support. Just want to be sure I would have any os issues or potentional bricking?

I have a one plus 9 5g. I want to root my phone but can't find any discussions. Anybody deal with this phone that can give some input.

On A-B device and very limited if any custom recovery. Not very likely. And as you can see this device in particular is getting lot less attention then the pro version. You may however find a little more help in telegram groups. But not much more.
