Hi ,
I have been looking for an application that is able to act just like the default CallerID but is going to be able to match the incoming call from an external source ( Handbase , xls , csv etc )
I do not need it to be realtime or replacing the default CallerID but rather a seperate popup bubble or just a Log File
The Reason :
I have some thousands of contacts thus impossible to sync with address book
so i curry them in a separate Database
If i receive a call that is not listed as contact i have to search it through the other database and see if is someone i know ( eg client ) and call back or inore
Thanks in advance
Hi everyone
Looking for suggestions for an instant messaging app which has the following features, in order of priority:
- Invite basis adding of contacts (not add all contacts through phonebook like Whatsapp but through username or pin like BBM)
- Voice calling
- Simultaneous multi platform support - Android and PC (so you can message from anywhere like Telegram or Viber)
- Ability to send pictures but preferably any file
- Video calling
I've not been able to find one which does all of this. I'm open to using my own server too if that is an option. Skype has all of these features actually and was the closest, but it never works its strange.
Thanks!
Ishaan
Hi Everyone.
Today, I want to share my personal SMS Based Location System.
I used Tasker (google play) to make it possible.
So, if you receive a Text Message with a particular Content, your phone will send a SMS with your GPS Coordinates to one or more contacts.
You pay every SMS, of course
Here it is the video tutorial:

I hope that this post could be helpful!
Hi friends,
Google loved our app so much we won 1st Prize at Google HackFair last week in Lahore, Pakistan.
We have a new app called Share Via SMS - SVS , that lets you share images and 10 second audio notes over standard sms, no internet required
Yup! no need of MMS, GPRS, 3G, LTE, 5G or Wifi Direct even.
ts as easy as select attachment, crop if you want and send when you are texting someone. You can also text short audio clips. Fro the sender's side it compresses breaks into multiple sms, encrypts and sends, and the receiver gets a decypted, decompressed complete file on SVS.
Our strength is in our compression and encryption engine and we plan to release a localized sticker bazaar in version 1.0 in early Jan 2016
The app is works great on all phones and its a great tool for displaced individuals who don't have access to the internet or can't afford data packages.

This might seem a dumb question to anyone who can answer it... But I'm having trouble figuring this out
I have 2 android devices - my phone and my car stereo. I would like to have recent/new SMS messages that I get while driving synced over to my car stereo so it can display them while my phone is firmly in my pocket where it legally should remain. I have had a look at MySMS, MightyText and Pushbullet, but I can't figure out if any of these are suitable. They all seem more interested in telling me about how I can text from my PC. MySMS seems also to need me to switch SMS app to theirs which I'm not keen on doing.
What I want to know is whether there are any good SMS sync apps that:
* Can be told to only sync recent or new (at the time) messages.
* Don't require me to use their SMS app (on the phone at least - not that fussed on the stereo).
* Store the synced messages into the Android SMS database so I can use other apps for processing (reading, displaying in large text, etc).
* Won't sync deletes - I don't need to keep messages on the stereo, so they would be set up for automatic deletion - I want to keep them on my phone.
* Preferably doesn't require me to sign up to web based services I don't need - local only sync would be fantastic.
Is such an app available?
