Ok, I misplaced my charging dock for my Gear 2 and I don't know where to find one. I have looked online at ebay & Amazon and even know they have a lot of charging docks for the Gear 2, but I'm confused between R380 & R381, are they the same or different because the Model number of my Gear 2 is SM-R380.
I need to know which one to buy, and does any one know if you can find them locally?

This is absolutely correct. I bought a cradle from AT&T (link below) and they labeled it as being for the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo. They definitely do not use the same cradle. I received the R381 and it specifically says on the packaging that it is designed for the Gear 2 Neo only. I can confirm that it does not fit on the Gear 2.

Has anyone come across any Gear S2 teardowns? I have seen a bill of materials type one but nothing along the lines of an ifixit teardown that explains how to actually take it apart. When it comes to replacing the battery I'd bet Samsung would charge a fortune.
Just curious to see how many people got the Classic or the Frontier model.
I, myself, started off wanting the Frontier model then had a change of heart and got the Classic in the end. I chose it because I like the design and color better than the darker Frontier. Also, based on my past experience with the dark grey Gear S2 BT and silver Gear S2 3G, I find it easier to find matching watch straps for the silver than the dark grey.

Frontier. Appearance. Lots of watch bands available on Amazon, including dark colors. Bought a nice black one.

I originally was interested in the Classic, but ended up going with the Frontier.
I ordered Frontier but Amazon send me a classic version. I returned the classic and waiting for Frontier. I like the look and design of the Frontier more than the classic. I don't know about scratches on dark gray versus silver. Silver will be a bit in safe side.
I have the Frontier without LTE. I can still call with it. I have my handy always with me. The design from Frontier is perfect.

Best Buy had the Frontier in stock, but didn't have the Classic. Originally, I wanted to see both in person before making my purchase, but after seeing the Frontier I went ahead and purchased it. No scratches yet (knock on wood).
I purchased Frontier because of looks, also got the LTE version (with no contract) but after using it for a while I am on the fence about cancelling my LTE service for it.

I hear you on that, after an hour of being on LTE my battery dropped by about 10% as opposed to maybe 2% via Bluetooth. I'll play it out a little longer and see what happens, I haven't had this watch for too long and where I was using mobile data was in a place that it probably struggles to stay connected.

I had the Gear S with a data plan. After about a year of only using it to show people how it worked, I cancelled it. Never missed it. I'm not the runner type or anything like that where I'd need to leave my phone at home.
Both models look great, what led me to the Frontier was the LTE. I run so not having to carry a phone and still receive call/text plus play downloaded music via BT has been great. I tend to leave my phone sitting on my work desk quite often and it is nice to still get notifications while I am in a meeting.
Classic is extremely boring. Only Frontier.

IMO, the Frontier looks too much like a typical & regular sport watch. So does the Classic. So in the end, it was the color for me.

Went with the Frontier LTE version to not pay it all off right away. Watch has been excellent so far. This is my first gear.

Bought both like both I collect watches main watch is omega planet ocean chronograph also backing cronovo watch on kickstarter ,think frontier and classic are both equal in quality

got the frontier mainly as the mrs bought it for xmas ,also its better looking in my eyes , did go into the shop looking for a cheap gear s2 but that changed when i got the s3
I wanted the frontier but it wasn't available when my wife ordered it for me. Went with the classic then a mate of mine got the frontier after we compared I was glad I went classic and he was glad he went frontier. The overall look of the classic for me matched other watches I've had in the past.
Wanted to see both in person... But best buy only had the frontier. Honestly prefer the dark look of the frontier, but wish it had the lugs sticking out more like the classic. I really wanted the LTE model, but with no Verizon support it just isn't even an option.

I bought the 2016 gear vr sm-r323 model.
On the box it's for the s7, s7 edge, s6 etc.....
I paid £45 from amazon which is very cheap.
I have the s8+ and it fits in the gap fine, there is however a slight rise on the top end of the phone which falls into the adjustable end by only 1mm.
Using the vr I haven't noticed any issues no light gaps etc...
I'm currently waiting for my motion controller to arrive from mobilefun which was £50.
I do have pics but can't post any yet.
Looking around there is the vr bundle which has the sm-r324 version of the gear vr but this might be a newer wider version so there isn't that 1mm rise or just the same n different model no as its the bundle version.
I'm trying to find a comparison between the 2 using the s8+.

What's the best charging dock for S22 ultra and GW4 Classic?
I have a SURITCH Ultra Clear Case Full Body case on my S22 and I have a stainless watchband on my GW4.
I'd like my phone to be able to stand up vs lie down so I can read the face of it in the middle of the night if I need to.
Preferably, if I could get one that is travel compatible. I've seen ones that fold up. (I do a lot of traveling.) That would be awesome.
