Question 9" QLED 1280 x 720 QLED screens same between manufacturers? - FYT Android Head Units

Hey all,
While messing around with my Teyes CC3 unit before install, it accidently fell off the counter and resulted in a cracked glass and the QLED panel.. I still installed the unit and it seems to be working, but the screen isn't as sharp and obviously less responsive in the cracked area.
As the guts are still good, I was looking into buying a cheaper unit with minimum specs just to disassemble and transplant a 1280 x 720 QLED screen from one to my more expensive unit. Would anyone be able to confirm that a unit from EKIY that has 1280 x 720 QLED screen would be plug and play with my Teyes CC3? Some pics from my CC3 if helpful, thanks!

Is this tablet any good?

Hey guys, I live in Brazil And things here are very very expensive, usually double the price, take the Xoom as an example, it is R$ 1900 here, which would be more than $1000, as 1$ = R$1.6
I love Android, and an oportunity appeared, to buy an 10.2" Tablet, with Android 2.3, 1Ghz Processor, 512 DDR2 RAM, 3G, WiFi and a resistive TFT screen with two-point touch (Still don't know how a resistive screen can do multi touch ), and even HDMI out, for R$ 380. Do you guys think it is worth it? Take a look at the site and a video I managed to find about it:

Fake IPS screens on ASUS devices?

I recently bought an ASUS zenfone 5 because I needed a dual SIM smartphone without spending too much money, but still getting a good device.
The zenfone has good specs, 5 inch 720p IPS screen, Intel dual core processor that performs pretty similar to some quad core ARM processors, 2gb RAM, 16gb storage and runs Android 4.4 and ASUS also promised to update it to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is definitely not a high end smartphone, but it does the job.
I was happy with it, but the screen quality really disappointed me. Since ASUS says it has an IPS screen I guessed it would have good viewing angles and color accuracy like I see in many devices, even cheap ones like Moto G, but it was not the case. I usually show a lot of photos and videos to many people and some of them cannot see it clearly if they look from a different angle.
It should not happen with an IPS display, actually it behaves like a cheap LCD display found in those really simple smartphones. I made a video to demonstrate what happens. It is in Portuguese but I think you can get the point by just watching it.
So, what happened? Are they using cheaper screens, fake IPS displays? Is there a simpler IPS model that behaves like that?

Smartphone components and manufacturing

MKBHD said cheap phones are getting better and good phones are getting cheaper.
I have been already wondering how chinese phones are so cheap.
Not to mention reputed company like Nokia and Motorola are entering this midrange and low-end killar spec game.
I guess they keep less profit than others.
Are phone processor sold like Intel and AMD processor?
I heard sd450 cost $10.5 but where they are sold .
Let say components of a cheap phone :
How much each of this component will cost ?
Qualcomm Snapdragon 429
16GB EMMC 5.1
2GB LPDDR3 800mhz
OV13855-GA5A-2A 1.12um camera module
OV08856 1.12um 8mp camera module
5.7 INCH IPS LCD 720P 18:9
5 Magnet Transducer type speaker
3500MAH lithium battery.
How much a metallic casing and dragon tail glass/ gorilla glass cost actually?
How PCB are made and how complex they are for a smartphone?
What about XDA making its own phone with sd855 and complete custom XDA ROM ?
These are all wondering Inside my head . Anyway I hope I gonna have some answers.
I am waiting for everyone's opinion .
Somehow MKBHD is right

Question Mounting Navifly / Medeke M6 pro plus 9"

I have a Hummer h2 currently with a 7" double din which fits in the stock bezel. Looking at getting a Navifly m6 pro plus 9" head unit. This will not fit within the bezel I remember some PX6 units would use a double din and it would stick out of the bezel so the larger screen could mount and give some tilt and angle adjustability. I don't see how to mount this screen in the Hummer, It doesn't come with any brackets/ mounts.
