Samsung A51 displaying logo but the touch screen makes sound - Samsung Galaxy A51 Questions & Answers

Hi everyone. So i have a weird problem with my friend's A51 galaxy. He told me to try and fix it, because he tought the phone was in boot loop. The phone is displaying logo samsung a51 knox etc. But when i tried to hold volume down+ power button it wont let me into recovery, it just restarts the phone and logo appears again. Holding volume up + power button doesnt help either. However i managed to jump into odin download mode by pressing volume up and down at the same time and connect cable. Now i have downloaded the correct firmware and managed to flash it, it was success, or so i thought. The phone restarted logo showed up and then small android logo saying "erasing" then it shows galaxy a51 knox, and its stuck again. I have noticed that the phone works, because the samsung talkback is saying to tap options to setup a phone and touchscreen works, but im just blindly going trough menus, and the voice is listing options but i cant setup phone like that. So can you guys please help me, is the issue display, or hardware, i have never encountered problem like this. Thank you all in advance and sorry for the long post.

You need to ask your friend for his google account email and password. You can't factory erase a Knox-locked phone without these.

But i managed to flash it with odin. If the phone display is stuck on logo but the touchscreen works and i have enter the phone setup, does it mean its hardware faulty? What could be the issue?

If it is knox-locked the phone will factory reset or flash as normal, but you'll still need the google acct that was associated with it if you want to reconfugure it, otherwise you're up the creek without a paddle.

[Q] Struck on bootloop. No usb debugging. Locked bootloader.

The power button on my N5 started acting up, like if i even press it once it will show me the power off option. After that it started to randomly reboot. Now its reboots every 2 sec showing the google logo. When it try to put it in recovery mode, it again reboots. Randomly like 20 in 1 trys it stops in the recovery mode.
1. I tried to factory data reset. I got an error msg something like " Cant mount cache ".
2. Called both Lg and goole for a replacement, but my warranty got over.
3. I unlocked the bootloader using fastboot and tried to flash stock rom, but after the first reboot bootloader command the bootloader again comes to locked status. Still after all process the phone reboots and gets to the booting animation, but it does not move past that( even after an hour).
Device was in full stock condition when this happened. Someone please help me out!!

You should ask questions in the Q&A forum. However i think that it cant be a software problem at all, its the power button, you shold take it to repairs and replace it.

Yeah, definitely sounds like a hardware power button issue. You can still contact LG to repair it for a fee even though the warranty is expired. If you don't want to do that, you (or a tech-savvy friend) can try tearing it apart to see if it's stuck or if there's residue or something like that. This article also has some suggestions, but I don't think they'll be very useful as your power button appears to be stuck down.

Phone hangs and cannot shut down

Hello I have a Galaxy s6 model SM-G.920F that hangs on the main screen and cannot shut down. I cannot go into recovery mode either to factory set it. So, I flashed with stock firmware from sammobile and phone works. I then hard reset it from recovery mode and phone boots and everything fine. Then after a couple of minutes hangs again and same problem. Someone pls help...thank you
Have you tried booting into safe mode?
How do I do that? Please tell me
Reboot the phone. As soon as it starts to boot, press and hold the volume down button until it comes up. You should see Safe Mode in the bottom left corner.
Booted into safe mode, still hangs on it, any ideas?
If it was a US model I'd say go to Best Buy for a software re-flash.

S6 Screen working on recovery mode, but not when phone boots

Hello,
I accidentally dropped my Galaxy s6. When i picked it up, the screen was blank.
Fearing the worst i rebooted the phone. The screen works fine when in recovery/download mode, but when the phone boots normally, it doesn't show anything. The odd thing is that the when it boots normally, the phone appears to be ok... i can press the Vol+ and Vol- and get the usual beep I would expect.
In recovery mode the screen is fine. I can see the bright greeny blue glow with white writing etc...
Please can anyone advise on some tech support for this? I can;t see that the screen is broken becuase it works fine when in downlaod.recoivery.
Help me Obi Wan! You're my only hope!

SM-G955FD can only access Download Mode

Hello everyone,
I apologize that my first post is directly asking for help but I've spent days reading and trying to figure out my issue to no avail.
I have a SM-G955FD and a few days ago it just turned off (battery at 40% and charging) and wouldn't turn back again (stock firmware, never rooted).
Recovery Mode (Pwr + Volume Up + Bixby) doesn't do a thing (Black Screen)
Download Mode (Pwr + Volume Down + Bixby) opens the Download Menu, if I proceed (Volume Up) , the device shows up in Odin.
I tracked the same firmware I had to flash it and found it. I load up the BL,AP,CP & CSC and proceed with flashing the device through ODIN.
Everything completes and I get a "PASS" from ODIN. However, when my phone reboots I get a blank screen with no vibration or logo or anything, it seems as if rebooting is actually turning the phone off.
Do you have any suggestions on what I can do? The device is still under warranty but I'd rather try everything within my ability to try and fix it.
Thank you so much folks.
Edit #1: Took it to a Samsung Repair Center and they told me I've voided my warranty because I installed a custom firmware. I clearly show them the "Download Menu" and how it's clearly marked "Official" & the Warranty Void bit/hex is 0 (I only flashed the same exact firmware from Sammobile using Odin, nothing even related to rooting which they claimed I did). They tell me this doesn't matter and that it's now out of warranty and if a software flash doesn't work then they would have to charge me 380$ (American Dollars).
I have a gut feeling that it's a software related thing at this point but my realistic assumption is that since the power button isn't causing the phone to vibrate it's probably a hardware issue.
What do you guys think?
I really apologize for the long posts, but I'm really pissed since the phone is barely 6 months old and I bought it unlocked.

did you try soft reset ? this is how :
To soft reset a frozen Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus you need to hold the power button and the volume-down button for roughly 7 seconds. Let go of the buttons once you feel the device vibrate and see the Samsung Galaxy S8 logo on the screen. Your phone will then reboot, and hopefully, start working properly once again
One thing to note: On the forced reboot/soft reset, you will be given four (4) options. Use the volume keys to navigate, and the “Bixby” key to select. Option 1 will do a normal boot, as if you’re turning the device on.
i hope your phone work again... try another Samsung repair center and don't explain anything just told them that your phone worked fine and one morning this problem appears... and nothing else don't mention Odin flash or....
i think this its storage problem or a hardware fail...

Hi there! No solution other than changing the motherboard. Went to another repair center and they did that in less than 2 hours and around a day to complete the water test.
Good luck

Bootloop, Mi logo doesnt even show up

I've tried to install new system in my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 MTK.
From the system that I downloaded (I downloaded the correct version) I picked in TWRP to install from boot.img.
Unfortunately the system didnt boot but I could still enter recovery or fastboot.
Then I chose preloader.img and clicked reboot because I thought that at the worst case I'd jsut enter fastboot and fix it.
After this the screen doesnt lit up at all.
The only response is the vibration.
It keeps rebooting over and over again.
Is there any way to save it?
It seems to stop bootlooping when I hold all the buttons at once for a while but when I hold the power button the bootloop starts again.
Re-flash Stock ROM
Is it possible in my situation when I can't access recovery and fastboot?
Can you please tell how can I do that?
Have you tried: With phone off, hold volume up, and insert usb cable. This should turn the phone on and go into download mode or something like that.

I believe its called the fastboot mode and as I said I unfortunately can't go there :/
Yes, we are talking about Mi logo stuck problem during boot. ... OR mobile goes in bootloop where every time shows Mi logo on the screen and shut House Cleaning Services Dubai
While installing your stock rom for your mediatek phone using sp flash tool just click the format all + downlaod option. This may blank out your imei and personal phone specific info
guys plz, you're talking like if I had any access to my phone.
I think I wrote it quite clearly that the only response that I get are vibrations and I dont see Mi logo. It's on for like a split second. Can't go to fastboot or recovery.
I talked about it with a guy on discord and it's loading preloader before boot that should go first so it can't be helped without valid tools. Makes sense to me, already bought a new phone.
