I looked in several places.
As I understand it, there isn't because it was not possible to unlock the device's bootloader; this makes creating custom roms difficult.
From what I noticed, I never got anything from the LG branded devices that I used, so I stopped buying equipment from this brand.
A tip: Always before buying a new device, check if it already has root and mods, so you avoid having a totally locked device in your hands.

Hello XDA Community.
I have a Huawei Activa 4g from MetroPCS.
I have rooted one device before, a NST, however it didn't go so well.
The nice man at my store told me to go root my phone, so I came here.
What is a good system to root my phone on? Also, is rooting the phone like jailbreaking, in the sense that you get free apps, and more customization? Please, tell me the best way to root this phone.
PS: Windows 7 if that makes a difference.

Hi, Can LG E615 DUAL SIM be rooted? Actually I am looking for moving the apps to SD as the internal memory is running very low. Your help will be highly appreciated. Pls help.

Yes LG E610/E612/E615/E615f all can be rooted, I tried to use APP2SD but it doesnt work, you can try it with ROMTOOBOX PRO, it also has the same feature but customized to work with many devices, I haven't tried it though, I will get back to you on this later

Hello all, I recently purchased a lg g3 model # lg-d852. I'm currently with wind mobile and would like to get the device working on their network. I have been told from people that it's possible and others that it's impossuble. Figured I would ask the experts before I waste anymore time or money. Will the device fully function? Will I have to flash a modem? Also would this be possible to myself? I have installed custom roms and rooted many devices before by following tutorials.

I recently purchased the LG Stylo LGLS770 from Boost Mobile and have already rooted it using king root. I've already installed a few root apps such as Titanium Backup, Greenify & Super SU. I removed some few bloatware applications through Titanium back up and that's pretty much it. Nothing else. However, I would like to be able to install a custom rom onto the Lg Stylo but I'm finding very minimal online support in regards to making a custom recovery for the Boost Mobile Version of the Lg Stylo and also minimal support in finding custom Roms available for the Lg G Stylo Boost Mobile.
I'm not very experienced with installing custom Roms and what not for this is my first time so I'm hoping I could give it my first shot on this phone, but there just simply seems to be no references for me.

Few days ago, i bought a new phone from a relatively new company called lyf in India. They source their phones from zte, so either zte manufactures them, or rebrand the existing model for lyf. The phone does have some GUI elements of cyanogenmod to it(photos attached), since i don't think ZTE has mostly stock UI which this phone has . I tried rooting the home through apps but since the kernel is relatively new, apps couldn't find a venerability. Could someone help me with rooting this phone?

1 gb RAM
16gb internal

Have you tried the XDA standard rooting method? (Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry)

I also have a Lyf phone, but it's Flame 7 . And me too didn't find any way to root my phone. Since I tried to root this device with Kingroot, the recovery mode is now not showing up.
The PC also not recognizing this phone. I have installed all drivers for this device but still no way.
