Poco X3 NFC, Poco X3 (Indian) Custom Rom support

Since there is a minor difference in the specs sheet of X3 NFC and X3 Indian version, Custom Roms will be the same for both devices or different builds of the same rom is required for both devices??
Pretty sure it will require different builds.
But the good news is that it probably won't be hard to port a rom to the other device.
@ingbrzy any thoughts on this?

You have to use a third party application because poco x3 has a google dialer which doesn't support auto call recording.
Poco X3 Karna stock firmware not available ?
So i have the poco x3 karna indian version with 6000 mah battery and no nfc. So I am planning to install a custom rom to it. In case something goes wrong I need the stock firmware on hand to fix it. So I have been searching all over the internet for poco x3 karna stock rom and it is not even available on the official mi website. In miui website there is only poco x3 nfc and poco x3 nfc india rom. No poco x3 karna rom.
Can anyone please help or guide me to find the poco x3 karna stock fastboot firmware ?

Unless otherwise stated, surya and karna stock ROMs are unified -- use the later...
Search them at https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/4250279/.

[Redmi K30 Pro Zoom] Xiaomi.eu 12.2.3 to Poco F2 Pro Global rom 12.2.4.0?

Hi guys is it actually possible to switch from Xiaomi eu 12.2.3 to the latest stable Poco F2 global rom (V12.2.4.0.RJKMIXM) on my Redmi K30 Pro Zoom?
Some questions first before I go through with this.
1. Will all my data be wiped if I switch?
2. Will I finally get some security updates once I switch?
3. Do I just flash the global rom using twrp?
4. Is twrp gonna be wiped once global is installed?
5. Will ota updates actually work now?
Hoping someone can answer as well.

Most of the roms uses a unified kernel that has everything you need to work with both the Indian and global versions.
The PE developers explicitly state the compatibility of the firmware in the description here.
[ROM][11][SURYA/KARNA][NEW] PixelExperience [AOSP]
PixelExperience for Poco X3/Poco X3 NFC [surya/karna] What is this? PixelExperience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, boot animation) Our mission is to offer the maximum...

Even installing the firmware(vendor) from Karna on Surya did not prevent the phone from working (except NFC)

Long answer : Yes you can.
Short answer : Yes.
Unless the ROM developer specifically states in the description that you should not do it. Read each ROM description for more info.
