Deaf Huawei Honor 6 Plus

Hi, I have just purchased a Huawei Honor 6 Plus 3+32G PE-TL10, all is good with it apart from Google voice search not working.
When I open Google app or Assistant.ai and click microphone google / or Assistant.ai does not hear me, I have checked google app settings and all seems to be correct. (i compared with my sons Huawei Honor 6) My son has Huawei Honor 6 (not plus) and has no problem with google voice search.
I have factory reset it but still the same problem.
I am not having any problems with phone calls or using voice record app.
I purchased the phone from etotalk.com and have tried getting support from them but the replies I have had are no help at all. On last communication they seemed to be suggesting that google voice search may not run google voice search!
Phone is running Android 4.4.2
Any help would be welcome as I have been trying to get this sorted for four days now and I am dreading having to return this back to china

Mic issues Honor 6 Plus
You are not alone with mic issues on the Honor 6 Plus
The noise cancellation appears to be far too aggressive and throtles back mic gain excessively, making the mic level about 10% of what it should be.
Have this issue on a UK supplied Honor 6 Plus when using Bluetooth handsfree ( vital for me) and also on speakerphone
There has been no resolution from Huawei
Have tried 4.4.2 & 5.1.1 and disabling "OK Google" option
Have also done the factory reset.
Can't root device and tinker as cannot get the code to unlock bootloader

Thanks for the info as i was starting to think it was only me having the problem. I am gutted at buying this phone, £250 for a phone that is deaf as a post. I also find out that the company that i purchased from have a very bad reputation for returns and support.
I am going to give it a few days more to see if they have a solution but I can see me putting this up on Ebay for £200 and cutting my loses…..no more Huawei or china phones for me!
If you find a solution please let me know.....will post here if i find a fix.

Sound scratches while on call via bluetooth device

I have boat rockerz 400 previously i was using for my lenovo vibe k5 note, it is just awesome. But so far i have began to use it on honor 6x it works good (when i listen music) than i expect but sound is scratching while on call. That bluetooth device is working normally when it is paired to other androids and while i make calls from them but not on 6x. So anyone else having problem like that? As i am thinking to flash viper or dolby that could be the possible solution?

Since the headset does work well with other devices, this means it is a software issue from the 6x but, I'm not sure if viper will fix this.

Sorry if i answer now, but I've just discovered that I've the same issue with meizu ep52 headsets!
With 6x sound scrathes (mp3, youtube, etc) but with other devices (i tried Wiko ufeel, iPhone se, Galaxy s8) absolutely no problems!

OP7P + AirPods Pro Anyone?

I used to use my regular Gen 1 AirPods alongside my OP7P due to the BT Connectivity and Ease of Use. I recently got rid of it in exchange of the AirPods Pro. Any recommendations for what apps to use and how have you found the features to be especially on this phone?

Does the app: AirBatts work? It's what Im currently using with Gen 2 Airpods with OP7P

Youre not missing much with any of the apps unless you want to be able to call google assistant or pull one airpod out of your ear and the music pauses. Oh and unless you need to see your battery level. I don't care for any of that because after a few hours i just charge the buds for a bit and im good to go. If i want to pause the music, i will double tap one ear. The one i found most useful was "assistant trigger"

Umidigi A 5 Pro low volume

Hi,
I got an Umidigi A5 Pro and when I receive a call, I can't hear properly. It is very low and if it's noisy can't hear.
Since new it is like this and I tried to contact Umidigi, they don't reply. I have even done the latest software update, no improvement.
Can you guys help me to solve the problem.

Does anyone know how the heck could the speaker of phonecalls be less powerful? Cause privacy seems unposible when we speak on a call...the speaker is too loud even in the lowest volume..may xiaomi find a way to fix this ?

Hello to everyone,
since day 2 after buying the Xiaomi 11t pro, i see no notification effect (Rhythm, Pulse, Starlight) when the screen is locked. For some hours after activating the device for the very first time, it worked and then nothing. I have tried everything in settings, i have changed several Themes (default and by third developers) and still no effect on screen.
Any idea?
