As the title says , I've OnePlus 8T KB2000. Currently I'm using the international global version of Oxygen OS (KB05AA). Can I change it to Indian variant?
Yes you can. Easiest way is to flash a full indian OTA package through the local update function in system updater. That should work as long as indian OTA have the same or higher version number compared to your currently installed global version.
If that don't work you can always extract the partitions from the payload.bin in the indian OTA zip and flash through fastboot. Following this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-unbrick-or-restore-to-oos-using-only-fastboot.4289013/

Currently I'm on latest Indian version of OOS (switching from Hydrogen) and I wanted to install the EU one but failed. The local upgrader said as pic attached.
Hi there, I bought a Oneplus 9 (12/256) directly from Oneplus Singapore. Everything is great except for the fact that I hoped to update the software to a newer version ( 11.2.7.7 / 11.2.6.6 ) to enjoy the bug fixes and improvements.
The phone came on 11.2.3.3.LE25AA
The default system update showed that it was the latest version.
Okay......then I learnt about Oxygen Updater and used it to update to 11.2.4.4.LE25AA
However, when I proceeded to update further to 11.2.5.5, the app was still showing me that the latest software is 11.2.4.4 (What??)
I then learnt that my phone was running on Global Firmware which was stuck on 11.2.4.4 and though the incremental update from 11.2.5.5 to 11.2.6.6 was available, without being able to update to 11.2.5.5, I was stuck on 11.2.4.4...........
Then I researched my model number and realised that LE2113 meant my Oneplus 9 (purchased directly from Oneplus) was the EU variant.....running the Global firmware......sigh......
So here I am now, seeking advice from you knowledgeable folks, how do I go about getting my phone to run on the EU firmware so that I can enjoy faster(?) updates.
Is it as simple as downloading the full zip of 11.2.6.6.LE25BA from Oxygen Updater and using Local Upgrade in the default System Update? Will this wipe my data?
Or will I have to root/flash or something complicated
Just flash the full BA zip.

By flash, are you referring to the system updater in the settings app?

Yes
Yeah I have the same problem
Waiting for 11.2.7.7 BA
I unlocked my T-mobile OP8 (Model IN2017) and flashed OOS global Rom. Later I decided to flash LineageOS18.1, so I did and also rooted with Magisk. In the end, it shows now I have a phone model of IN2013.
My question is if there is any flashable Rom that is based on IN2015?
Thanks.
Hi,
I installed the in version of oxygen os12 on my eu 8t by accident. How can I can't it back to eu (when eu releases)?
I suppose that OOS12 won't let you flash EU version of the same firmware, as it was on OOS11.
So, there are several options, as i see it:
1. MSM to OOS11, then update to OOS12 EU (but you will loose your data, unless you backup).
2. Wait for the next update and flash EU version.
3. As there is no working TWRP under OOS12 with data decryption now, you can try to flash OOS12 EU via fastboot, though i'm not sure, you will succeed, as it is untested at the time of writing.

Another option is to use the downgrade package to go back to OOS 11
I'm trying to install lineage OS, but the installation I was on was broken and it wouldn't let me unlock the bootloader, so I had to downgrade.
The only downgrade I found was for global, so I downgraded from android 12 eu to android 11 global. Now I can't find a package for android 12 global.
Can I update with an android 12 eu package? The phone is GM1913, current version is 11.0.9.1GM21AA. Version I got an update file for is GM1913_11.H.30

You can. Doesn't seem to have a negative impact so far. I'm on lineageos 20 now with nikgapps.
