Can anybody port a working Gcam for Galaxy M12? By now I have tried at least 15 apks (if not 20) including BSG, Zcam and many others but none of them worked.

Try GCam go, it's the only one that works fine on my device...

sadly Gcam go doesn't enable any extra feature on my phone
Only gcam go works for me

Even with Gcam go you can see the difference but it literally doesn't have any feature.

I don't have any official custom ROM but I have one un official lineage OS ROM. Idk if it's even safe.

Right, there haven't really been issues with treble from big manufacturers now has there? Now that Xiaomi is trying to be a bit more competent it's probably proper.

Flash xiaomi eu mi mix 2s twrp through fastboot(https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=818070582850507462), wipe and flash the system image to system.
You can just flash the system image through fastboot, but custom recovery is just more convenient.

Compiled, it boots.
I tried to make TWRP based on this kernel, but it stuck at the first logo screen. Sad.

Don't know, in DP2 there's only the snapdragon camera but you can install the google one via play store.
It haven't the nexus/pixel features like automatic HDR but it still works better then MIUIs one

As you installed the rom sir, you have notice that it will consume battery even in idle mode because it has no deep sleep but i have a solution with that, how ever you can pm me if you need help.

In omnirom openkirin some funcionts dont work, the same with stock openkirin camera.

You need to go back to your stock rom. Download stock rom of your original model and update using HuRupdater to update your original Rom. And that you will install again twrp and flash any treble rom. I encounter that before when im using morfuz and install another rom, my camera wont work.

Can the OP author provide information what huawei camera's version it is? Is it for instance com.huawei.camera Version 8.0.0.200 or com.huawei.camera Version 8.0.0.301 or what? Also it would be fair if OP author will collect and inform on first page on which Huawei devices with what ROM that huawei camera app works.

There is no error in flashing the file in BlackBirdS, do the process correctly. I am using BlackBirdS with this kernel and I had no problems.

Bro, maybe work. But test it in custom ROM. I suggest : BlackBirdOS V4 or refinedpie A6(my current rom).

Yeah I know.CarHDMod and Soldiers mod is compatible but not posted here.BeyondRom and Project Pixel with stock S10e vendor and libs in system should work.

I don't think the same, I think OneUI launcher has been improved and is really optimized. I have Galaxy S9 and I can say for experience that It runs really well , without lag, same as AOSP launchers, taking in count is a custom launcher.
