P40 Pro - ELS-NX9 (ELS-N29) - Huawei ID / FRP Lock problem - Huawei P40 Pro Questions & Answers

Hey guys,
the problem looks like this: I bought an used P40 Pro (with a little display damage) with a Huawei ID/FRP lock, which I honestly didn't understand before or even know that this leads to a problem. So I simply can not use that device. I have now done a lot of research and found that probably in my area only Huawei itself can remove the lock, but they MUST unfortunately also repair the display damage, which drives the cost so high that I can buy a new phone right away.
After more research, I found out that you can probably downgrade to the EMUI 10 use the emergancy backup function (in EMUI 11 not available for me) to bypass the problem. However, I can't find a firmware that fits my phone and I can flash it via the dload method. Using the HISuite proxy method, the phone must already be unlocked to be able to flash it.
Now my questions:
1. Is it correct that I can bypass the Huawei ID lock with EMUI 10 (e.g. 10.1.0.176) (many YouTube videos show that)?
2. Where can I find the correct firmware for my device or can I download somehow it from https://www.firmfinder.ml/ or https://pro-teammt.ru/en/online-firmware-database/ for the dlog method? How to search actually for that?
3. On http://huawei-firmware.com/ there are the right numbers but its for the P40 Pro+ what I really not understand why the build numbers are same. (Edit: no there are not EMUI 10 versions)
4. Can I use maybe similar firmwares? Instead of C432E3R6P4 it would be C432E8R6P1 or so. Will this even flash or show me only an error.
5. I tried to flash this firmware https://disk.yandex.ru/d/NrGTS46l8zcWtg/Huawei-Honor/Huawei P40 pro Huawei ID but it shows me an error that the version does not fit. Why?
Please, can someone point me to the right direction because I really dont know what to do rigth now.

On that site is a mixture of firmware and phone names. In fact, N39 is P40 Pro plus and N29 is P40 Pro.

Do you mean on http://huawei-firmware.com/ ? Actually I must have looked in the wrong place. There is no 10 version there.

The seller is a used goods dealer and he got that phone already locked. I have only the email on the phone with some *** inside. If I would know the whole Email I would write him but its not possible. Maybe its possible to extract somehow that email from that phone?

Could anyone please help me out? I have a bricked device and am looking into how to unbrick it.
I'm particularly interested if the English version of HiSuite which says it supports the L09 and L29 actually does.
Could anyone with an L29 or an L09 please put their device in fastboot and try the system recovery from hisuite:

A new version which supposedly supports the phones was released.
Could anyone confirm if this works?
cmon guys, help out this man, so that he can continue to help us with new firmware updates

I did it with a L29 device. The app says Device is in recovery mode, and once I clicked next, It says your device is not supported for system recovery. Please take your device to a nearby huawei service center.
If your device is unlocked reflash through fastboot

I wish that I could do that, but there are partitions that I can't flash with fastboot, which I did flash using other means when reverse engineering the updates. Those are the partitions which are broken and don't allow my phone to boot, or show anything on the screen for that matter.
There is a restore mechanism built into Huawei's fastboot to get into a separate restore mode, but I think there is a special recovery image needed which the Huawei Hisuite app can access. I just don't know how to find it when all the devices come back as unsupported, despite being shown as supported in the documentation. It's very strange.
This is something that Sony had done with two hidden partitions FOTA and TA . This makes the device unbrickable and also.Have the OEM ways to keep the boot locked with hidden features.
Hisuite latest Windows app has these features to restore and when I tried,it scanned my.phone and found.My.phone to be working fine.
1) start the hisuite App on pc
2) connect to the phone in fastboot mode
3) restore
4) the app scans and looks for the partitions and then restores the bricked phone ONLY

Sorry to make this as another post
After downloading from that site the app is old edition.
After installing, check updates and you get latest hisuite app with material design with more features.
If anyone wants, I can upload the app which is 30+mb

Hi, I have a mate 8 NXT-L09 with C212B120 firmware, I tried the procedure you describe because I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and rooted only to discover I did not like the out come, I lost some functionality of the huawei themes app and now I like to go back to its original out of the box state, to make long story short (not really), the huawei tool says it doesnt recognize the device and that I should take it to them for repairs, I tried this while i had TWRP and also while I had stock recovery on the device.
I wonder if it doesnt recognize the device because its rooted or with an unlocked bootloader?, im tempted to unroot and relock the bootloader and see if that will do the trick?, if i try this ill let you know what goes.
Cheers.

Huawei Ascend Mate 7 Jazz Bootloader unlock

Hi.
I can't unlock my bootloader, since i can't get my bootloader unlock code.
I've tried it a lot of times and i'm sure that IMEI, Serial number and Product ID are correct.
I guess that the problem is because all i have as a modell number is "JAZZ".
My build number is MT7-C900B512
(I've had some previous experience with Huawei phones, and i guess that build number is missing a part, but thats all that is showing up, that's how i got this phone from my father)
Downgrade to lolipop and try unlock again

Try to get your unlock code using HCU client. Its a paid service. It will cost you 4 euro.
Sometimes the unlock code with huawei database and one stored in your phone dows not match.
Hcu client will read code from your phone itself and it will surely work.

Also.. what about Android pie? Because Samsung posted that they will update this device to Android Pie, same for the j4+ one. I don't want to softbrick the phone or lose root when updating.

Finding firmware (ELS-N04)/suggestions to install?

So, I have a P40 Pro ELS-N04 with build no. 10.1. 0.148 (C792E7R3P1)
Canadian user here.
I tried using googefier, and concluded I would need to downgrade for it to be able to use LZplay, a lot of people seem to suggest .131 for this, so I've been looking around for the firmware to use or how to proceed.
I've searched a few firmware sources and haven't had anything come up for some reason.
I did see a link on ictfix (new user, can't share link) , which lists ELS-N04 in the YouTube title, but not the download link, but I'm not sure how to verify this without bricking my phone...
Am I right in the simplest list way to do this as well is with a USB?
And that it previously could be done with standard HiSuite, but newer versions have anti rollback and older HiSuite can't connect to newer devices?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey guys fellow Canadian here, I have the same model as you guys and have managed to downgrade and install GMS on my device.
Here is a great guide on how to downgrade your device using HiSuite and HiSuite Proxy:
I have went ahead and grabbed the links you guys will need to paste into HiSuite Proxy to downgrade your device. I recommend using 10.1.0.121.
FileList/Package URL:
http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G5633/g1604/v392311/f1/full/filelist.xml
Update Information (Paste this in the small box next to the package URL on HiProxy):
ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.121
Full update download link if you want it for some reason:
http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G5633/g1604/v392311/f1/full/update_full_base.zip

I legit just posted a working firmware. 10.1.0.121. Currently running it.
After using ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.121, you can update to new firmware by OTA on your phone?
I noted that I did as ictfix guide (10.1.0.131 and 10.1.0.134) and mobile cannot update by OTA. It is stopping at version 10.1.0.134 due to used ELS-NX9
You will have to update to EMUI 11 using the same method as downgrading. Use firmware finder to find the proper Firmware for your device and after installing GMS etc you can update using HiSuite and HiSuite Proxy.
My phone is the original firmware version ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.148 (C792E7R3P1).
I downgraded to both ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.131, ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.134 to install GMS, I tried many times but the phone lost OTA.
I have just updated to version ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.148 and, now I can update the phone by OTA.
Perhaps the phone is flagship with version ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.148 (C792E7R3P1), so the phone cannot update OTA on ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.131, ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.134. And we need update to original version to get OTA.

No comprendo.

Unfortunately it appears that the firmware files are no longer there. "Error - Mostly likely the firmware was removed from the server" from the firmware finder.
I haven't tried the HiSuite Proxy method yet. A little nervous about that as I hear if can brick your phone.
Trying to locate an older matching firmware file still but no luck. Ideally I'd just have this an D-Load it into the phone after downgrading from EMUI 11 to 10 (latest) using HiSuite.

I was too late too the party. Damn it
I myself am another user of a Canadian P40 pro and i realized that it's probably the rarest one to have the right firmware on to the updates and have google on it. We must find a way around it so we patch the small community who doesn't have those update or google services at the same time.

Hi bought this Tablet Xiaonxin Lenovo J607F and I try to change the Rom with a Global Rom but unlikely in the process of do it, i brick the tablet. I would like to re-install the same ROM. Everyone have the rom for the Lenovo TB-J607F?
Thanks
Top one on this page?
lolinet mirrors - firmware, software, iso etc.
lolinet mirrors - powered by h5ai
mirrors.lolinet.com
in this list there is not the firmware/rom for the J607F. I can only found the J607Z which is different because the tablet is with a SIM card support.
I wish you the best of luck in your search. Locating chinese ROM's is a challenge.
Any version is fine, the important is must be a J607F Rom.
Thanks btw
Try the Chinese Lenovo forums using google translate, or contact your seller for assistance.
Does anybody know if we can use the TB-607Z firmware in the TB-607F? I want to use the global rom so badly.
ok. Good news for the owner of Lenovo J607F.
Yesterday after a long research, translation and adventure in the Chinese world forum and various group, I finally solve few of my problem.
1. I get the Original Rom/Firmware of the TB-J607F (but i still don't know how to attach or upload here because is large 2.5gb so i will attache the link).

2. You have to change the Firmware of the tablet with the J607Z Rom because the original ROM is CN Version (do not exist the Global Rom).
3. if you decide to change the Rom then just download from here the Firmware and Procedure with the QFIL: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/lenovo/Tab_P11/TB-J606F/
PS. the J607Z is a SIM tablet and the J607F Wifi Tablet, becareful the Mobile service will not work after you change the Rom because the J607F is not a Sim Tablet. Also there is a risk to brick the tablet.
Hope I helped a lot of people with this problem.
Thanks

TB-J6070F CN Firmware Wifi:
[URL desplegarse = "true"] https://hkfront.wxwork.qq.com/downl...cfd8edf983bae2aa7&weixinnum=13102673015097907 [/ URL]
Gracias

You can flash 607Z (P11 5G global) rom onto 607F (XiaoXin Pad Plus).
Process of converting it to global firmware, broadly, is
1) Change region from China/undefined to global
https://www.ppomppu.co.kr/zboard/view.php?id=androidtab&page...
There are a couple of XDA threads on doing this region switch too. My 607F was already switched to global when I bought it (from Aliexpress, had a pseudo-global firmware on it)
2) Using Lenovo Rescue Assistant in rescue mode, setting it to P11 5G
you cannot flash the lolinet firmwares with QFIL - the packages don't seem to be correctly configured for QFIL flashing - so you must use Lenovo Assistant to "rescue" the tablet to flash. It will download its own copy of the firmware.
Note: It didn't work for me on windows 10 - I had to use a windows 7 machine to get it working.

Did you change the firmware on your xioxin plus to the p11 5g rom? Is it an official firmware? Im asking because i want to improve the speakers performance on my xioxin plus (pseudo global). I understood that on the pseudo global its not possible to enhance the speakers performance? Any ideas would be a huge help
I have no idea about speakers and firmware.
I changed by xiaoxin pad plus from Aliexpress with pseudoglobal to the official P11 5G rom, using LMSA to "rescue" the tablet. I think the setting in LMSA is P11 5G & "61".
My tablet came with the region already set to global when I checked, so I did not have to do that step.
Yes instructions are in Russian, but it is well detailed Google Translate helped me.

Yes, very simple
I flash base on Win 7. You have to download minimal ADB, QPST, all driver.....
1. unlock your pad plus
-Visit here to get the unlock file (The serial number case-sensitive)
https://www.zui.com/iunlock
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",

}
- Your wait for about 10min, Lenovo send the unlock file to your email (sn.img)
- Copy sn.img to ADB folder.
- Restart your pad plus to fastboot:
adb reboot bootloader
- Then you type these code:
fastboot flash unlock sn.img
fastboot oem unlock-go
2. Flash rom
- After unlock bootloader, turn off your pad plus.
- press and hold volume + button, then plug cable to pc/laptop (9008 mode)
- go to QPST install folder (maybe C:\Program Files (x86)\Qualcomm\QPST\bin), run QFIL.exe.
- Then Load content (rom folder), choose content.xml
- press download content button, wait for 5 minute and relax

I have known what you said. I did go to the ZUI unlock website an fill in all the required information and click on the submit application button to apply for device-specific unlock. But the web said “请输入正确的序列号” (Please enter the correct IMEI1). I’m sure I filled serial number correctly. Until now, i have not got the unlock img. Please help me to get the unlock img, my device serial number is HA1GZ2HA, my email is: [email protected]. Thank you!
I have received an official email later.
Offer some possible suggestions:
1. To activate the tablet account and wait for more than 24 hours (I'm not sure)
2. The sn.img contains the serial number of the machine, so other people's sm.img cannot be used
