Hi everyone. I bought a 2nd hand Mi Mix 2S from China and it is in Global Rom. The problem was the network provider connection was too weak. I already changed ROMs to PE, MIUI EU and LineageOS but the network issue is still unresolved. Do we have a fix on this? I can't find any in the internet. I already tried the *#*#3646#*#* and changed the prefered network connection. Any solution or help on this matter? Thank you guys

Hi, I bought a xiaomi redmi note from china and I didn't realise that I'd bought the chinese TD-SCDMA version, the UK network frequency works on WCDMA. The seller gave me a full refund but didnt take the phones back so I'm trying to see if this can work or else iI'm just going to sell them.
Now the network does work but can only got up to 2G.
I've heard that the MediTek hardware supports both TD-SCDMA and WCDMA however the WCDMA may have been locked.
Is there any way of unlocking it?
Hi, I am in the same boat too... please share if you find out.
Thanks
Neat Rom in Redmi note
Is it possible to use Neatrom in Redmi Note?
I have the same problem but with Lenovo A808t. This is not compatible with 3G & LTE bands in Spain but, I think, It has the same modem that Lenovo A806.
Can I open that bands?
Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with this issue. I bought a WCDMA Mi4 and then installed a French sim card on it. But I only get EDGE connection, so I started looking around forums dealing with this issue, until I found the network mode menu. I have the possibility to choose WCDMA, LTE etc but every single time I change the network, I close the app and go back to it again, the same network stays (TD-SCDMA and LTE). I can't seem to find any APPLY button or something. So I have two questions : 1- Is there an app who could tell which Bands are my phone compatible with
2- if my phone is indeed compatible w/ WCDMA supposing it is a software issue, what can I do ?
Thanks a lot in advance !

Hi,
using the Xiaomi Mi 4i I have some issue with the GSM signal (no signal at all; the sim card is correctly read by the phone so I don't think it is a matter of internal sim slot contact).
I'm moving my attention to the antenna but... which is the GSM antenna?
That does not seem to be a Mi 4i. It is a Mi 4... both are totally different from each other. Please check in Mi4 forums.

Typicaly the larges antenna work in lowest frequency.
If you can do it, I'm grateful.

Someone has already tested the CA capability with 4g+ in Europe ? Intracarrier & intercarrier band aggregation? I read a lot about the lack of full compatibility for previously smartphone models so before buying the 2s I'd love to hear from you if Xiaomi resolved the issues or not!
Thanks!
A saw only ca 7+7. And no ca with 3+7 or 3+38. Maybee working 20+7.
No CA on latest miui 12
Hi,
I read about a thread on enabling it on Mi A1, but the very first step there fails on Mi Mix 2S. I know it's currently not working (nor was it working in the past, either), because download speeds are lower than 20 Mbps, while on my HTC U11 it surpassed 70 Mbps on same SIM and location. I also checked, there is just B3 band and no secondary carrier enabled. I haven't found any guide to do this on MiMix 2S (SD 845), but was shown possible on SD 625 (Mi A1), which to me seems absurd. Maybe some devs can join in with an advice? Thanks!
I cant say anything about Europe but in the USA it works fine. Running xiaomi.eu 12.5.14 miui12.
I have here listed supported CA Combinations: https://cacombos.com/device?model=M1803D5XA .
Hi there, i have a poco nfc x3 and if i used my provider ben... Then i have no problem with mij phone. But if my wife uses provider Youfone on her poco nfc x3 then when she calls her 4g disappears. If she unlock VoLTE she can uses both, but if someone calls her, the wil be displayed as unknown caller. And i cant fix that. Is there a custom rom available that fixes that problem? I hope there is.
